How do i tell my boss? -

I m working for a marketing company doing some telemarketing. I only got the job becoz thru a friend of a friend and my boyf they needed help as a translater calling greece and cyprus and i was unemployed at the time anyway. It was only meant to be for 2 weeks and it s been going on since July. I weren t meant to be working for him this long. He s been giving me other work too. He knows I have been looking for a job and going to interviews but now has come the time when i ve been accepted and i start monday. How do i tell him that i won t be working for him any longer as of monday without him getting annoyed that i ve left him stranded considering i helped him out in the first place?I m also still waiting for payment from some work i did for him from early spetember. I don t want him to get so annoyed that he doesn t pay me either.

If he knows that you ve been looking for other jobs then he ll already be expecting you to tell him at some point that you ve got something else lined up.Don t worry about this. By telling him as soon as you can you re being fair to him and there s less chance of any nastiness.If you tell him today, then tomorrow when the dust has settled a bit) ask him if he can add the money that he owes you from September to your final pay-packet.
