Craiglist babysitting scam or not? -

He replied to my post: My names is Mr Simon ***** Hubby to Mrs Adeola ***** we re located at Brooklyn, NY ( ***** Area ) ....I am presently on vacation on cruise with my family and will be back by October 17th set-up a meeting with you by October 19th and start date October 21st or 23rd of Ocotober ( depends on your choice ). I will be needing a housekeeper/nanny/baby sitter who will taking care of my home and my daughter{Kathy} after we come back from our vacation i will like to put thing in place so that you could start up immediately we arrive. I am very happy and excited that we have finally found you for our daughter (Kathy), Kathy is a girl She s 3year old,She is lovely with other kids,Love Playing, and watching cartoons alot ETC.Now a little about us,My wife own a shop back home and I m an International Business Man which enables us to travel to different continents on vacations. We live a very simple life and we have a big apartment though its just three of us in the house,hope you can join us on a trip someday..We were formally located in Maryland, where my wifey s shop is presently located,we re planning on bringing it over so that she could have more time to monitor it very well... We went for the vacation 1 week after we moved in, so we don t really know places yet..We are looking for someone that we can treat as part of our family/friend and not just as a nanny/aupair. We are easy to get along with you, i want to make you feel comfortable and at home, like to act silly, are easy going, and down to earth. We would like our aupair/nanny to be a comfortable care giving partner/companion/sister who is caring, flexible, and will have fun with our family. We would really enjoy a light-hearted, fun, and enthusiastic person who s ready for a neat American experience with a young, active family. We have an extremely supporting family here in the area, and the Kids grandparents play very active roles in their lives. I will be paying you ($2400-Per Month)USD per Month ( $600 weekly incase your prefer the weekly payment ).. And the working for three day Monday,Wednesday and Friday, hour is just 8 hours per day and your responsibility is just to take care of my daughter {Kathy}, Take her for shopping sometimes , taking her to the school, pick her up from school which is just 3 km ahead from home.
