I am thinking of building my own Adventure Park. What kind of software will allow me to design my park? -

I am thinking of building my own Adventure Park, with lakes, 5 A-side fool and volley ball fields, including quad bike and sand buggy racing, as part of the park (might add paint ball at a later stage). Where can I find free software to design the park and where can I find templates on different park designs.

What a great idea, we need better facilities.Major companies developing sites for theme parks bring in ITEC or Ledo to consult on the major projects.A cheaper alternative might be to use a Landscape Design package. Before really spending lots of money on detailed design if you have not worked the numbers through for the project and the size of the opportunity then I would start here. For example if we could build a 5 aside football complex with 6 pitches, what level of occupancy and what are the charge out rates, if we could average 8 hours per day per pitch at 50 per hour is 2400 per day. At the weekends it will be busy and in the evenings but some days could be a lot lower. In one year then the revenue associated with just the football would be 864k. You could bump this up with a bar and a shop etc etc. So how much is it going to cost to build just this facility ?Complete the same sums on all the different aspects then bolt it together. This will give you a project cost then you can add the land, planning etc. Some local authorities and tourist associations may well offer assistance in this. Not sure where you are located but make sure that you have a market available for what you are offering, 5 aside is big in the UK at the moment. So bigger players are setting up leagues to ensure occupancy. Finally Laser tag is better than paintball, it is less mess and has a broader appeal across the sexes and can be used on a wider age group.I hope this helps your thinking.
