Oh hell yeah! All the time. I only post sale items on there if its the last resort. Depending on if what I m selling is worth the headache ill get from the responses. Its way to frustrating most of the time a big waist of time. Once in a blue moon you might get a decent person responding to you. But don t ever hold your breath. Id say stick to just Ebay or post an ad in your local news paper. Unless you can stand the headaches. Most people responding from CL are either extremely rude, really mean or just flat out retarded as hell. I don t know what the world is coming to.
Hate to break it to you but no one s gonna pay anything remotely close to $10k for your earrings. The economy is pretty bad as it is...do you honestly think people are gonna have this kinda money to spend??You should also take into consideration that CL is primarily used by lower class cause they can t afford ebay, amazon, auction.com, etc.I tried to recently sell a very clean and excellent 2002 Nissan Sentra. Normally this should sell for $5000 but I was only asking for $3600...and it did not sell. I then lowered price to $2900 and it still did not sell. Face it the economy sucks as it is and doesn t look like its gonna get better...at least not any time soon. Just save your self the time and convenience and dont bother.
