Well, right off the bat, I hope you don t listen to the gentleman with the first answer. He s the reason that ebay is becoming like it is. I have been a seller on ebay since they started. I have paid partial payments quite often. I would call them and find out the best way to make arrangements. How long has this been going on. This is their toll free # 866-643-2959. Ebay is a great online seller, you may not agree with their fees and rules, but they are better than any other site of it s kind out there. I ve been on quite a few of them. Make arrangements to pay the bill, clear up the bad account, start selling again, and don t do the same thing a second time. Pay them by the end of the month, I pay them every week, a little at a time, so it doesn t mount up. And once again do not listen to the first gentleman, ebay is a good outlet for selling, don t screw up your best deal to sell online.
No, you need to contact E Bay s billing department and tell them what you told us and let them know that you would like to set-up payments with them. Agree to a temporary suspension of your account until it is caught up if you need to but if it goes to collections that is where the damage to your credit will be done.
You re not screwed at all. Don t pay those overly greedy scumbags who do absolutely NOTHING when you get ripped off. You can set up a new account with a different card. I ve done it several times after multiple account suspensions for reasons that were ebays fault in the first place. Just register with a slightly different first name and a different phone number. Doesn t even have to be your number. I ve been on ebay for 11 years and so far, they don t know. Also, it will go to collections but ignore it. They will stop and it will NOT go on your credit record.
