I have ideas for pet products for cats and dogs. I want to create my own line like Zanies, Chrome Bones, Kong, etc. Can I trademark my product line name and market my product ideas under that or would I have to patent my product line name and/or each individual product and market it that way? And how would I need to do each or one of the two? I would love to have my stuff be as recognizable as Zanies. But I ve tried to look up their website but I couldn t find one. Are they a company or did someone pitch their product line to someone and go that way? If so, how can I do that? You need to bubble wrap them to protect them from dents and dints. Preferably, then box them. If you can t box them, make cardboard corners to stop the sharp corners poking through the packaging and getting damaged or tearing the packaging.

This is for a dog training small business in Washington State.The customer is requesting a cash refund be offered for a prepayment of a 6-week training arrangement. The initial eval and planning phase were complete before she called to cancel. Our stance on this is that we accepted her payment as an agreement to the 6-weeks. We do not want to issue a cash refund, but rather the abilty for her to retain a company credit towards services equal to the amount remaining from her payment.

If you do find items cheap, the fees on ebay will certainly make it hard to make any kind of profit, or else the wholesalers you find on the internet would already be on there selling the items individually if it were possible to make more money that way. If you want genuine wholesale, you have to go to the source, the source that doesn t advertise on the internet, the source that doesn t know about ebay. I fly to Thailand, costs $1,000 roundtrip. If you re serious about wholesale, then that s what you would do. Go somewhere like that, visit the markets, and make connections. Then when you leave you can work with them and they can send you things on a regular basis. and p.s. ebay is a waste of time. Search for any item on there and go to advanced search. am starting a record company with a business partner, and in all actuality he is providing most of the monetary support for our work. The way I have learnt it, there are several things which will determine how many of a product you will sell. (I am going on the standard Marketing mix Ideology from GCSE Business Studies If anyone was wondering)1. PriceThis is a major part of the product selling market. The lower the price, the more you will sell (to a limit, when people think that there must be something wrong with them as you are obviously trying to get rid of them) If your prices are lower than your competition s then people will buy your Guitars2. ProductIf your Guitars are of a good quality, then people will see them, think that they look like they are good quality and buy them. Again, if your products are of a better quality than the competition s then people will buy yours rather than their s.3. PlaceWhere you sell your products from is also important. If you sell your products in a proper music shop then people would be more inclined to buy them than in say, your local Tescos.4. PromotionHow you advertise your product is important. If you advertise your guitars through posters or adverts in the local papers then you will get many more sold than not advertising at all.Overall, I think you could sell 30 Guitars a month as long as you follow the four points I have outlined above.Hope this helps

I am currently 18 and I know this is a pretty dumb question to ask but I could really use some quick money right about now since I can t find a job around my area. So I d like to ask you, what do I bring with me(such as an I.D and/or a birth certificate)and what do I say to them? I m trying to sell two Gameboy Advance games(Super Mario World 2 and Metroid Zero Mission), three Gamecube games(Rainbow Six Lockdown,Metroid Prime, and Megaman Network Transmission),and two dvd s. If you can tell me what this stuff is worth that would be very appreciated.

Photo ID is required. Tell them if you want to sell the stuff, or just pawn it. If you pawn it, you will have a certain number of days to redeem (pay off) the loan to get your items back. You ll probably get a better price on Craigslist or ebay though if you actually want to sell the stuff.No idea what the stuff is worth. Go on ebay and see what people are charging for similar items.

1) I hate following orders so much that I actually feel guilty when I do what I m told. if they can explain to me why and I agree with them, there is no problem. if they have a stupid reason, I usually get a little agitated, but I usually don t want any trouble. if they don t give me a reason, I get pissed as hell and feel horrible if I do it2) I base my decisions on what is effective and will get results3) more importantly, I am an idealist (my mbti is ENFP) and I base my decisions on my values4) I am not a trouble maker, but if someone disrespects me, I feel the need to check them (which I try to do as gently as possible, usually I try to talk to them first)5) my biggest pet peeve is people trying to control others. Sounds a lot like me. (although I am ENTJ). I couldnt handle authority/working for people. Started my first real business in HS. In college I was running my own shop hiring people and the such. Now I m hiring just short of 50 people around the world, and loving every minute of what I do. My initial goal was to work hard so I didn t have to work hard in the future. Now however I work like 80 hours a week because its my favorite thing to do and I love it- but different strokes for different folks.I went through your list and agreed to everything... maybe except the pimps, rappers, and gangsters part. I m a boots and chaps and cowboy hats kinda guy.Don t sacrifice too much- I sacrificed my entire HS social life and college social life to get a head start. Yeah I got a ton of cash, and love my job (self employed), and I m on my 4th business, but I miss some of those opportunities. happy medium ;)
