Trademark both name and logo? -

I am preparing to trademark my companies brand. Do I need to Trademark both the name and the logo? Do i need two separate trademarks?

This decision is going to depend on a number of circumstances, as with most things in the trademark world. In this case, you may want to file two applications - the name and logo together AND the name alone.3) The logo you re using is the crux of your brand and the name you re using is entirely descriptive of your goods/services. You may want to trademark your logo only OR trademark your logo alone AND trademark the name logo together.An important thing to keep in mind regardless of your particular situation is that whatever is filed with the USPTO is exactly how you should be using the mark. Help!! Job is very unorganized! Any ideas?!? -

Ok, so I am Office Manager at an Automotive Body Repair Shop. When I accepted this job in July, I thought it would be a wonderful learning experience. It has been so far, but this place is VERY unorganized. There are papers EVERYWHERE. We have parts to cars in the office ( little ones, like body clips and such) that are just everywhere. Little post-its everywhere with notes on them. A person s file could be in one of 3 places, so when a customer comes in it s like a chicken with its head cut off trying to find their file. I try to keep my area organized, but when I go in the main part of the office, it s just a mess. Any ideas? I would like some details as far as if I label anything, what can I label it? and so forth.. Thank you so much.

You can also use a certain mark or something to signify what insurance carrier insured each vehicle and have it on the outside of the file as well.

It s not as much when you put it up as when the auction will end. I assume you re thinking of running your auction for 7 days. I have placed items up for 7 days that got not bids until the last couple of days. And I ve put up 3 day auctions that did better than 7 day ones.Lot s of people think late Sunday is the best day to end an auction in the U.S. I ve been running eBay auctions for years and I actually have more luck with Monday evenings. Apparently many people don t discover an auction until Sunday, then watch it until Monday evening.If you re aiming for a bidders in a particular country, check it s time zone. Obviously, there would not be an ideal end time for the entire world.

Surprised by the answers so far...I say 9PM Central, Tues/Wed/Thurs. Not too late for central or east coasters, after business hours on the west coast.As for days of the week... Mondays are bad for everyone, and Fridays and Saturdays are usually busy or relaxed, neither good for auctions. Maybe Sunday night, never tried.

Kso...today me and my friend found out that theres a hedley concert coming up and the tickets go on sale tomorrow morning ( its 11 at night). The tickets are about 56$...and together, with tax it ll be aorund 120 ish. Our parents werent very giving at first with the whole money..and all i had was 20$. Then weve torn apart some of our house..and we found lkike 25$ in pennies..nickels..dimes, etc.Soo we had like 45$. Then my mom agreed that she would pay about lik..30ish bucks...soo that was like 75$..and my dad is gonna pay me about 10$. Soo thats like 85 =S. Soo we need basically like around 20- 30 bucks. Does anyone know where else in the house we can go looking for loose change? You have to pay double for taxes, handling and service charges? Do yourself a favor, buy directly from the venue and avoid the ticket company fees as much as possible.Grab as many soda cans as you can and recycle them or turn them in for your state deposit.

I need help creating a name for a company I want to create about kids learning Chinese.? -

I would love to find a nice short name (I love companies like yelp.com or mint.com) that encompasses what I would like to do. At first I was thinking about only names having to do with Chinese but then I started thinking that I should make it a big bigger -- like something have to do with the early bird getting the worm - as in you should start your kids early in a language. Boss Is Telling Me Info about Other Employees? -

I have a boss who after drinking likes to share his grand plans of reforming the business with the employees he s out with. On more then one occasion, he has told me about people he plans on firing and how he s going to go about trying to make them quit by limiting their working time or giving them jobs that are not going to make them enough money.Most of the time, while I m uncomfortable when he tells me this, its usually related to problem employees, but recently its been happening to good employees who are team players and work hard. Some of these people I consider to be my friends.I know there are privacy laws relating to employment info and a manager can tell people why someone was fired as long as they don t lie. Is this an issue that I can bring up to an upper level manager as its making the workplace extremely uncomfortable for everyone involved?

At this point, there s no need to involve upper management. It s not really making everyone uncomfortable, just you, and you should always try to resolve a situation like this directly before you go over anyone s head. Why not just tell your boss the next time he starts divulging information that the information makes you uncomfortable, and you would prefer he not share it with you. Or just don t go out drinking with him.He is not breaking any privacy laws currently in existence. What happens in the workplace is not necessarily private. As you are both employees in the same company, and the same department, there is no breech of any law. But go to upper management, as you seem to have your mind made up. Good luck.

I ve been selling on eBay successfully for over 10 years.It is normal for sales to slow during the week of any holiday.Watch your sales trends around Mother s Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Memorial Day, etc. They always go down unless you have a product that is fashionable for that particular holiday.Because of Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas, and New Years, our eBay sales will dip sharply and remain low until after January 15th. Retailers are advertising like crazy and offering great sale prices so people will be shopping in stores. There will be short ups-and-downs on eBay but mostly sales will remain poor. It is normal.Sorry for the bad news.
