I want to hear from anyone who does the same thing or has knowledge about starting it all up. I m a stay at home mummy looking at making some extra income for my family. I have a few questions where would i find a company to supply these things for me in australia? How do I look at getting a website done? How much is usually put in from your own pocket to start this kind of stuff up?Anything else I need to know legal ect?
Despite what some people say/think, LOTS of people buy clothing over the internet. Be certain that you offer measurements not just in sizes, but perhaps in inches around the key fitting points. (Check any clothing store that asks you for measurements to know where they want measured.)There are many, many resources out there for setting up your own shops - even Yahoo has Yahoo Shops. You may want to look into that. There is also always eBay. A good number of companies run eBay shops , due to the ease of use. They DO charge a fee, but it s not that much.As far as legality, I don t know anything about Australian laws (I m in the US). I know that here, if I were to sell items over the internet, I would not have to report my income from it UNLESS I made over $600 for the year. Those would be the laws you would want to look into the most - tax laws for your area.
WebsiteGet a website and if you don t want to pay for one, use a Free Website. E.g Yola, Weebly or another one. These websites are easy to create and free - including hosting.Once set up - add a paypal button and then you can collect on-line payments. (ensure you have a paypal account)See link below for how to do it. When reading the article - instead of adding a Paypal donation button - Add a Buy button. (Paypal has various online buttons - Donation button, buy button, subsription button)Best Wishes

clothing varies so much in stated sizes , I doubt many people will buy much when they can;t try it on or at least touch, feel and hold it up against themselves to see if it looks like it fits
