Being self employed Where can i get reasonable health insurance? -

I am self employed and i am currently paying a small fortune for health insurance in MA. Where can i look into getting better prices without sacrificing coverage?

Massachusetts? roflmaoyour legislature fixed you right up ... and emptied your wallet with required coverages and community rating.try eHealthInsurance.com -- they ll at least find you a few offers, but don t say you weren t warned about the prices.

Congratulations, you have just asked the million dollar question. You are exactly the reason we need health reform. Not only will you pay a fortune for care but if you ever use it for anything other than routine stuff, the rates will go so high you will never be able to afford it or you will be cancelled all together. The health insurance companies make a fortune on self employed people because they are not part of a group. They can afford to dump you as soon as you look like a risk. Pray that health reform passes.

health-quotes.talk4fun.net - my family have this health insurance. It is affordable and has good coverage for dental issues.

I have met this sort of situation before, here http://www.HealthInsuranceIdeas.infois the resource I found helpful.

Reasonable? No such thing.

I have a small business. How much will Obamas new health care plan cost me per employee? -

It is a restaurant with 25 waitresses and 10 cooks. Does anyone have a guess on about how much per employee this plan will cost me? Money is so tight now, I just don t see how we are going to afford it. Any ideas would be great. thanks!

If he is smart and follows the lead of European countries that have it in place for decades... then it will be a tax withheld from the employees check and be divided between employer and employee.Just like you do now with social security taxes.Remember... THAT IS AN IF... they haven t even decided yet whether or not to actually do it.

Trying to start a business????? PLEASE HELP!! Realistic? How? -

I am only a teenager and want to become a chef.........so I wanted to get started early and start my own catering business in my home....I would do it in the summer, over breaks, and weekends.......I am super excited but do I have to have a permit or something? Can I just start it or what do I have to do? Is this realistic? How and what do I have to do?????? Any help, tips, and advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

1: If you enjoy cooking, as well as planning the menu, you might think about starting a catering business. There are many occasions that might have a need for a caterer, such as a wedding, a graduation party, or a birthday. Many companies also use caterers for special holiday parties or other events. There are a few things to consider before you begin.Step 2: Be sure to contact your state and local governments to see what the requirements are for starting a catering business. You may need permits, inspections, licenses, and insurance. Some of this can be rather pricey, but once you have received the paperwork, the fun can begin.Step 3: Decide if you need another workspace besides your home. Many catering companies begin out of the owner s home. If you plan to cater to large events, you may want to find a large, industrial type kitchen to rent.Step 4: Determine what type of food you wish to offer. It s best to have several menu styles that might mix the food you are comfortable cooking. When you are first starting out, you may wish to keep your food rather simple. If they require extensive preparation time, be sure you can have the food where it needs to be when you promised it.Step 5: You might consider taking a few classes to help you polish up on some of the more difficult techniques needed for unique dishes. This can really help boost your confidence and skill levels. Plus, when asked, you can say that you have taken cooking classes, which makes potential customers feel comfortable with your abilities.Step 6: You may eventually need to hire help that is above all, dependable. You can completely destroy your reputation with one bad server or assistant cook. Be sure you know who your people are and if they will provide the best possible service. Your business is on the line with each and every employee.Step 7: You will need several serving dishes, chafing dishes, silverware, glasses, pitchers, tablecloths, napkins, and many other items. You will also need a way to get all of these items and the food to the service location. This can be the largest expensive of the business setup. Find some websites that sell catering supplies at affordable prices below in the Resources section.Step 8: Word of mouth is the best form of advertisement. If you have completed service to a few people, don t hesitate to ask them for a reference, if needed. If your service was excellent, most will not mind at all.Step 9: The yellow pages and flyers are also good forms of advertisements. Radio and television can quickly build your business, but are rather expensive. However, this is definitely an option if you have the advertising budget.Step 10: Above everything else, make sure the food is outstanding. You will get more return business based upon this one aspect than anything else.Things You ll Need:Permits, license, etc. Catering supplies Cooking equipment Excellent food choices

Yes, you have to have a business license and a license from your local health department to prepare food for public consumption. Your kitchen and home will have to pass inspection from the health department.

how about start small or think of a product like make food or crafts or a law firm if you do those things start small and hire a couple people goo luck! :)

Suggestions? Ideas? Please Help? -

Okay guys I need some help on Business Ideas. i want to start a business that would give me alot of profit and not be that hard to start. Any suggestions of what is out there?

Have you looked into Scentsy or any of the other home based business companies? There are a lot of them out there that are low cost and really get you rolling into owning your own business. I m a Scentsy consultant and love it.Good luck! I hope you find something that works well for you.Lisa

Start your business on ebay, or on yahoo market place, you can start from scratch making ebooks (or other digital content) about 1) what you are passionate for 2) what you are expert in 3) both 1 and 2 - you have risks like any other business but here mr google can be your market analyzer, and virtually you can do evertything from your homely home.

If you are IT literate - you might want to consider setting up an IT Training Business. Training people on the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and other Software Packages)To minimize costs, you will do the Training on site. E,g Training Centres or Organisations (that have training facilities for their staff) This significantly reduces set up costs. (No Training centre to rent, no computers to buy) There is still a big market for peole who are learning IT - Some just trying to get into jobs, some need refresher training.I set up my small IT Training Business in 2001 and I m still running it now part-time. ~For more help, see link below.Best Wishes
