Buying an item off ebay? -

I am watching a few sidekick 3 s on ebay and the listings say they work fine but some have scratches and a few of them can not be returned. My question is if the item does not work can it be returned ? They say it works fine but has scratches so since they did not mention it is broken that would mean they were false advertising and it has something wrong with it that they did not mention right?

No they can t be returned if in doubt don t buy others and better will come up if your patient

When in doubt move on.

Could you use blank Tee-shirts such as quot;fruit of the loomquot;, or anvil, to put your own logo and sell it? -

Im trying to start a clothing line and i dont know if i can get in trouble with the law if i use the blank shirts

yes you can. Just make sure you do not misrepresent the t-shirt brand.

Yes no problem, look in your closet and you will see that most of the ad t-shirts you have are from brands like that,my husband own a company and did the same, no problem at all

yeah of course you can.Go to a store that sells band shirts, and look at the tags.

Why not?The retail clothing stores do it all the time.

How would they find out? That is the question.People do it with Hanes shirts.

yes, you may. Check out some of your own tshirts and see what kind of brand they are. You ll find lots of Hanes, etc.

Yes. That s the way it s done most of the time.

How does short listing work when getting a new employee? -

This is for my A levels and don t really understand how

It varies from employer to employer. We used to reject long c.v s (more than two sides of A4 and badly spelled and puntuated letters. If you have a lot of replies, there have to be several ways of eliminating some. Eventually you arrive at the most likely candidates because they have the right qualifications and experience. If you have applied to a local authority, there will be a points system for answers given and if you have met all of the criteria, they will be forced to give an interview. It s supposed to be in the name of equal opportunities but from my experience usually leads to the wrong person being taken on.

Hi there. You Have to make a decision on how many top quality candidates you can handle for the full-on interview process.Setting up full-scale interviews - booking rooms, making the right people available, getting HR ready, taking the references up etc - is expensive and time-consuming, so you want to do it all together and keep the costs to a minimum - shortlisting is a good way to do this.So let us say you decide you can afford to handle 6 genuine candidates over two days. You are likely to get a lot more than 6 candidates for a job, so you decide you have a short-list of 6 to fill. The applicants will need to be whittled down to maximum 6, so you would start by discounting anybody who misses the deadline, then you would go through the CV s to spot any obvious mismatches. You would have to sift the CVs again and again, rejecting on whatever grounds necessary (too highly paid, too inexperienced, whatever it is)until only the strongest 6 remain. That is your shortlist, you can then call those people for the interview process. To make it work, though, you have to absolutely sure what you really want for the post - if you get your terms of reference wrong, you won t find the right candidate.Cheers, Steve.

WHERE TO FIND LIST OF EMPLOYERS THAT HIRE? EMPLOYMENT AGENCY, RECRUITERS. BEST WAY TO FIND HRs, CONTRACTING..? -

I have an employment agency with a lot of clients/employees that seek jobs. But unfortunately I don t have employers that are hiring. Is there an organization, group, community human services, where a lot of employers gather for meetings, or the like, that I go and meet with them? where can I find employers that are or want to hire Babysitters, Housekeepers, Nanny, Elderly Care whether live-in or live-out? what are the best possible ways of finding this kind of employers? How and where to go to find employers that are or want to hire Security guards/offices, Drivers, Receptionist etc. Please do say craigslist, sittercity or any of the online website market because they all want you to apply online and their information is either inaccurate or incomplete, Like (they only write down their fax number and say please fax resume and they don t even reply back) and i don t understand what resume we should fax when the person want to work as a Driver or a Security; for example? all the poor guy needs is a Guard card. Please point me to the right direction, im in Los Angeles, and let me mention money is not a problem for anything that you might comment that will be the best way to get employer or as they call it employer contracts. I do not charge anything to the employer, we charge the client. the employer saves time, money by not doing any advertising and having an employee at his/her fingertips in a timely manner, and increases credit in recognition. I mostly need people who want to hire babysitters, elderly care, live-in/live-out. Security jobs, and drivers. please tell me the best ways to try and places to attend or go to meet with people and offer them my services. Thanks.

Well right now, it seems like no one is hiring much of anything. I would say look for job fairs in your area. Bring a lot of business cards and fliers with what you are looking for. If you own a temp agency, you need to be walking into places that may need your help and let them know who you are and what you offer. I ve seen a lot of temp agencies in my area close up because there are no jobs right now.I wish you all the luck in finding more work for your people.

I think the company is correct to ask for a resume however simple because you are letting a stranger into your house or company. Would you allow a theft to guard your stock worth $1000 s or your house you ve worked so hard to build? I think a character/police reference is essential and maybe you should get the employee to pay for this as part of the cost.As for getting these people jobs, there are jobs wanted sections on 1000 s of websites, newspapers, word of mouth.

What would I need to start a window cleaning business in my area? -

I go to school, but after school and on weekends I would love to run my own small company, thanks for any help

Hi, not sure myself but the window cleaners i use add videos to their website that let you know how they prepare the clean water etc. http://www.cleanhut.co.uk/ Maybe this can give you some insights into how a window cleaner runs his/her business.Hope this helps

Hi!I clean small offices and was in a clients business in a shopping center when the window cleaner came by. He cleaned two large window and the door in about 5 minutes and charged $8.50. Not bad. And he didn t have much for equipment. You will probably need a business license and maybe a permit. You should get a little (the smallest amount) of liability insurance so you are protected from claims of damage or theft (I don t know if you are planning on doing residential or commercial). Call a lot of insurance agencies and get quotes-the price varies a lot.I have more tips and a resources for window cleaning business start up on my Squidoo lens-the link is in my profile.Good Luck!

Whats the hottest business of today? -

Electronics such as cell phones, ipods and things. It does not matter if people need it or not, let a new phone come out there will be a waiting list for it.

Here are some small business enterprises to consider:1. Providing a private tutoring service ranging from music lessons, English writing and reading lessons: to training seniors on how to operate a particular computer;2. Offering to supervise or monitor services to senior citizens especially those wanting someone to take them on errands, driving on long trips, watch and clean up homes left behind by seniors who have been relocated to assisted living quarters;3. Becoming a regional apartment manager servicing several properties while traveling to and fro to collect monthly rents and service tenant complaints;4. Leasing a van equipped with paper shredding machinery and go into high-income areas offering to shred their highly secretive personal papers or even allow them to do so in the privacy of their own home or office;5. Leasing high-pressure steam cleaning equipment which can be used to remove chewing gum in front of store fronts and apartment houses and charge an appropriate hourly fee;6. Acquiring a personal fiduciary bond up to $100,000 [actually 10% or $10,000] which will allow you to sell your services as a personal property document specialist which involves photographing and cataloging all kinds of personal property which are subject to insurance coverage; salvaging of family photo albums, etc.Good luck!

How to start a tutoring business? -

I m a college student looking to start a tutoring business for college level students. I was wondering how do i go about this. I have my rates in mind but i m not sure if there is any legal stuff i need to do. Do i need to claim self-employed to the IRS. Will i need to have liability insurance? Will i get in trouble for tutoring without a education diploma?

Check with your state and local authorities to see what is required. You can usually find the info on your states website. If you are tutoring on your own and not through someplace like Sylvan then yes, you are self employed. Any income should be reported to the IRS. You would have to file a Schedule C on your income tax returns. You also have to keep track of any expenses you incur as a part of the business.

Business Partnership divisions....? -

If I ve agreed to becoming a partner in a business, and my partner has the money to invest but I m investing my equipment and time.. are his investments more important than mine because it s dollars instead of hours?

I would have to say yes, but not buy much cause there is allot that you could do with money. but it s like having something that you need cause it wouldn t really work without the other. so i would have to you are both important in this situation. it like having rims without the tires or having tires without the rims. if you leave on of the two out thin they both become worthless.

Sometimes , unfortunately the person with money has the power of the partnership , but.. you are getting in with your equipment so , that may help the business be 50-50 . if not he will have more power than you , but everything can be solved if you talk before you do anything . Is better talk about any situation in the beginning than latter

What strategies should the gift shop implement to ensure proper accounting for cash receipts from online sales? -

A small gift shop has just launched a new Web site where customers can purchase products. The Web sites e-commerce software systems automatically generate daily sales reports and forward the reports to the gift shops accountant. The gift shop uses an online e-cash processing company, which deposits cash receipts to the gift shops bank account automatically. What strategies should the gift shop implement to ensure proper accounting for cash receipts generate from online sales?

Make sure you reconcile the cash deposits with the e-commerce software report.

How to start small business? -

Enter more detail here (Optional)

go see a bank manager

Since you appear to have never been in business before, I would strongly recommend that you talk to a business counselor before you do anything especially spend money. You have to determine whether you ll start a web based business or one with a store front. I d call the local office of SCORE (go to the link below and input your zip code to find the chapter nearest you), the advice is FREE. The counselor at SCORE will most likely advise you to write a business plan which is very good advice because it will force you to dig out all of the start up details and the costs of starting a small business and force you to also understand all of the aspects of this business including the customers you ll concentrate on (your market) and how you ll go after them. You ll need to register the business with your state controller s office and make sure that you have any city and county licenses if any are needed where you live. All of this will come out in a business plan.Try linking to YCHANGE International (see link below) and read some of the articles especially the ones about a business plan and starting a business.

Ebay seller changed his mind about selling the product after he received the money, can he do that? -

In theory, you can source the product form elsewhere and sue him in Small Claims Court for the difference ..Good Luck !

Technically, eBay rules and regulations prohibit this. However, you cannot force the guy to ship the item. As long as you get your money refunded, you have no recourse beyond filing a complaint with eBay and giving negative feedback

did he say the product was broke or damged and couldnt sell cos thats what happened to me.try reporting it to ebay at least they will then keep a track of it and if it happens too often they will kick him off

How much should I charge? -

I am creating a website design company and I am trying to figure out how much to charge. (very good websites, flash, database, etc)I don t want to charge up front, I would rather charge per month (I am also hosting them on my server)there are 3 of us in the business so remember livable wage.I was thinking maybe $60 per month, do you think thats to high/low?would you pay it?

I think you should break down your pricing into two segments. 1) a fee for designing and implementing the web site and2) a modest monthly charge for hosting the web site.I think you should change pricing model to either collecting for the design services up front and going with a monthly fee of less than $20.00 or adopt the same model the cell phone carriers do, that is, have your customer sign a two year contract with no escape clause and charge enough each month to cover your design charges as well as your monthly fees.Hope this helpsJerry-the-bookkeeper

Is it difficult to make a profit on eBay? -

It depends on what and how much product you are selling. For the small type business it s probably not worth it. Ebay posting, total sold, and other fees along with paypal fee s are a killer. In that case here are several busy store alternatives that let you post for free one of them is http://www.ecrater.com/ and I think bluejay something. I ve also seen people create shops on their blogs and market those.A friend of mine has a little store on ecrater and he s doing pretty well, if you like to check it out.http://e-foreverything.ecrater.com/

It depends on what you re selling. If you just want to clean your house and are selling your un wanted items then you ll make some money but its not like a job. If you want to make a job out of it you ll need a flow of desirable product that you can sell at a better perceived value than the competition than the competition. If you have some IP component to your product and its value is easily apparent e-bay roll out might be the easiest avenue. But over riding all of this is the fact that making a sustained profit is not an easy task.

No, from the people I know that use it, they make a lot of money off selling little trinkets. For example I know someone that bought an old fishing reel for $5 at a yardsale. He never used it so sold it on eBay and started bidding at $3. It sold for $15!

Not really! Just get the items cheap from whole sellers and sell for just under the RRP and people will lap it up. You will be swimming in prophet

What do I have to do to start a Pet Shop? -

I just want an idea. I have no idea what I want to do with my life but I know I want to work with animals. I have never been good at science so being a vet or vet tech aren t really what I am looking for. I have grown up with a lot of animals, even exotic ones since my mother had a license to breed sugar gliders. I want to start a pet store sometime in my life. I just don t know if I would need college behind me or what. I am currently a full time student at a community college. I know I want a lot more experience with animals before I start a business. I already know a ton about owning your own business because my parents have owned a family restaurant my whole life and I have helped with all of the behind the scenes things. If you know something about owning a pet store let me know, please.

Buy some pet things from China and resell them in US.

How to learn more about t-shirt printing/embroidery business? -

I am interested in starting an embroidery and/or t-shirt digital printing business. I have scoured the web and am overwhelmed with very basic info, some of which I am skeptical about the reliability of the information. So, what is the best way to find in depth and honest info about this business?

The absolute best way is to go get a job with an existing business in this line, even if only part time. You can earn while you learn, and you get to see almost everything it will take. You will also be exposed to many of the downsides to the business, which you would probably not know about just resarching online and you need to know about these.

Cheapest way to ship a large package? -

I have a package that is 50 pounds and 24x36x20. USPS is $90, I m looking around the $30 range. Thanks.

You didn t give origin/destination zip codes so had to guess. Both UPS and Greyhound Express are in the $52-$57 range for their lowest, slowest rate.I don t think you will find anyone to ship for $30.Wait! If you don t mind having some scheduling flexibility, you might check out Uship.com. This is a site where you enter what you want to ship, from where and to where. Then, various member carriers will bid on your job. It is all secret (they don t know who you are) until you select one of them. You pay no fees for this; the winning carrier pays a fee to Uship. For something like this, you might find one of them that is coming through your town on another trip and headed where you want it to go. They can just toss it in with the car or motorcycle or furniture they are delivering for someone else. It s worth a shot; I ve used it twice and got really great quotes.

How do I become a certified appliance service center? -

I opened a new business and want to become factory authorized service center for whirlpool and frigidaire

You have to apply for franchise licenses from them, OR certification FROM them...

How much money to open Alcohol store? -

How much money do you need to open one?

You should allow a minimum of $165,000 for inventory. A good two register computer based checkout system will run $4,000 for hardware. 2 pc s, monitors, barcode scanners, keyboards, receipt printers, credit card scanner. POS software will be around $2-3,000. (But a good system is essential for keeping your inventory straight and printing sales reports) Your shelving and display equipment will be in the area of $6,000 (look for used) A 5 door beer cooler (used) will run you about $2,000 and another $2,00 for installation and wiring. The compressor system will be about $3000 installed. You are probably going to want a glass breakage and motion detection alarm system installed - $2,500. And - a good 4 camera computer based instore security camera system with hardware/softward will be about $2,000. I hope this helps.

alotyou need to figure the cost of the building, liquor license, taxes, distributor costs, overhead, etc...but remember, booze is a 600 - 800% mark up from retail, so you could stand to make some money

first off you need to be able to get a liquor license...those cost about $2500.00 or more...so look up your state laws to see what you need..besides a license, a store, shelving, liquor ( a distributor ), all the other stuff, food, mixers, etc...

50-100k with most of that going into inventory. If you look at business listing you will find a lot of them for sale. Not a lot of money in the smaller ones you see in strip malls.

I am trying to start my own business...? -

Im thinking of starting a pressure washing Business in Katy Texas. I want to do pressure washing for restaurants and business. I need to know how much I should charge? And business I should go to?

Ok you answered part of your question.you need to firgure out ALL your expenses related to the business and go from there.Spreading the cost over how many jobs you do for example.Maybe check the Yellow pages or them lilttle advertisement you get in the mail. and see if your competitors list any prices.

Online Businesses that actually work...? -

I am a full time CNA as of now and i also have a one year old. I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about online businesses that ACTUALLY WORK. I d like to make some side cash to take my family on a well needed vacation after a rough past year. I have searched up and down and alot seem to be scams. can anyone help me?

With this question you are going to be bombarded with information from everyone on this they will be cutting and pasting sites for you to visit and sign up. I could personally give you a few but it would be good for you to determine what will fit for you and your personality. So many of them want you to provide them a list of all your family, friends, neighbors, associates, etc. but most of us don t like intruding on our family, friends, etc. to make money off them. With most of them you make more money by signing up someone who is supposed to sign up others than you do with selling a product or service. If this is for you then go ahead cautiously. Right now DO NOT EVER sign up for those that want you to process payments for you that you will keep a certain percentage, people are getting burned. What I will say is find something that you honestly believe in and you may have a chance to succeed. Good luck I hope you get to enjoy your vacation

Hi there,Finding the right home business opportunity is a challenge. There are many people who have been searching for the right online opportunity but never really did find what they want. If you really want to find the best home based business internet work opportunity, you should do some research. A good source of info for online business are the entrepreneur magazines. You could subscribe to one or two types of them and learn about setting up an online business. They usually offer some very good insights when it comes to setting up your business. Another way for you to find the right home based internet business opportunity is to ask for referrals from friends and relatives. If you know someone who has an online business, they are one of your best sources of info. The good thing about asking for their advice is that they already have experience and could help you out or give you some tips on how to get started. If you don t know anyone who has an online business, you could join forums as well. There are online communities that discuss working from home and some are willing to share their knowledge. To find one of these, you can just simply launch a search by typing the keywords. In a matter of minutes, you can probably find several posts.I ve been working at home for over a year now. I knew absolutely nothing about it either but I stumbled upon something called Maverick Money Makers. I saw it online and on television, so I gave it a shot and it has worked nicely for me. It is very informative and basically walks you through everything step-by-step. There is a minimal cost to become a member and have access to all of this material but I m pretty sure there is a 90 day (3 months) money back guarantee if you decided you weren t interested.

I think there is one that just right for you , with very little investment , and you automatically get 7 days 6 night vacation certificate plus income oportunity that you can get; I just signed up coupledays ago and see the beauty of this opportunity. It s legitimate company and not MLM not scams do cross check yourself ;check this out if you interestedwww.tviexpress.com/1whenki

Congratulations!!! You are the millionth person this week asking this question. As you have seen, there are none. They are all get rich quick scams to take your money. http://blogs.consumerreports.org/money/2http://blogs.consumerreports.org/money/2

What software would a business need? -

e.g internet for emailmicrosoft office for documents/databases ect?????????????

Open office....it s free!SAGE for all your accounting!contact HM Revenue and Customs for free DVD about Tax NICs with free software also!Find a local small business that started 12-18 months ago and ask them!:)

An office suit like MS Office or Open Office, which is free. These include word processors, spreadsheet, email client, presentation and database. Then you need some accounting software, there is a very good opensource accounting application listed here:http://wow.isff.com/best-free-software.htmlI think it s called TirboCash. There are also lots of other free software applications on that site which helped me a lot. I did not know you could get so much for free untill I fount that site!hope it helps you too.

You will need a complete office package - That could be Microsoft Office which is available at a price or a free software called Open Office. Apart from that you will require an accounting package to take care of your accounts (Ex. Tally). You may also require a invoicing software for billing etc.

Im looking to start my own computer repair company. What would be a good name for the business? -

I m looking to start my own computer repair compay. What would be a good name for the business? It seems like everything I think of is taken. I will be Repairing and installing PC s, Servers and Networks for homes and businesses.

PCDRSPersonal Computer and device repair store

Hi Blessed,Your business name should be chosen/created based on sound marketing principles; not personal preference.Go to your state s corporations website (usually under the secretary of state) and browse through any lists you can find to see what kinds of things others are using already. Then decide which way you want your name to guide your customers. Do you want them to think they are using the services of a person (Ie Joe Sample s Computer) or a professional services outfit (ie Pro-Site Tech). Choose/create based on what your market research tells you will draw more customers/clients. Yes, I said research! Don t guess with something this important. Take a look at my website www.abusinessmentor.com. You ll find some good free info there.Good Luck!

AAA Network and PC Install and Repair.orMoody s Network and PC Install and RepairorSmiling Sam s Network and PC Install and Repairdon t use your own name, if things work out right, you will sell the business in a year or two.

What are some jobs that I can work from home? -

I want to be a stay at home mommy and I want to know what are some ways I can earn money by staying at home?

You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies. You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job. These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as work at home because they would hear from too many unqualified people.

I know there are a lot of scams out there so be careful! Dont listen to the people though who say they are ALL scams. They are not actually ALL scams, just a lot of them are! LOL! In fact Yahoo Finance says that for every 1 legitimate home based opportunity there are 57 scams! At any rateI am actually a nurse and I love working outside the home but I know a lot of people want or need to work from home. About 2 years ago my sister finally found a legitimate company thats been in business for 20 years. I dont know too much about it but shes been doing it for 2 years now, about 20 hours a week and she makes about $40,000 a year. I know its legit because they have dozens of fortune 500 partners, they are members of the US Chamber of Commerce and of course, Ive seen her paychecks, LOL! She says she loves it! She gets to stay home with her kids which is pretty cool! Its not a job working for someone else but instead she sets her own schedule and she determines how much she makes. The more she puts into it, the more she gets out. I wish jobs were like that because I know I work way harder than some of the nurses here who are getting paid the same as I am! LOL I hope this helps you! Good Luck in your search!-Michelle

Hi That s fantastic, I myself am a stay at home Dad and life couldn t be better, I get to see my kids everyday and be here for them 24/7 and that s just priceless. Want to start a business.. no ideas. HELP PLEASE!!? -

I am looking to start my own business but I am unsure what I want to do. If anyone could give me some legit business programs, ideas etc. Not those scams that I have been seeing all over the net. I would appreciate you input. Thanks!

If you are creative, you can design t-shirts on cafepress.com or zazzle.com. Those only cost time at first. There is another website where you can publish your own books. Not real sure on the pricing, but if you are good at it, you will get some money.I believe that if you can do something you really enjoy, then you can make a successful business out of it. If you just pick something willy-nilly, then it will probably not work out. Too many people don t think about the work, they think about what to do with the money when they get it.

You want to start you own business? What are you rich? Don t start your business for the money because jobs are much easier for the money. Do you have a passion for something? Find something that involves that passion and continue doing it for a long time. Eventually the money will come.

Do I need a business license to clean houses on the side? -

MY SON JUST TURNED ONE AND I NEED TO GET OUT THE HOUSE SO I WAS GOING TO CLEAN ON THE SIDE A COUPLE DAYS A WEEK! TO MAKE SOME EXTRA MONEY! I WAS GOING TO POST IN THE STORES A FLYER.

A retail license no-not unless you are going to give your customers the option to buy some cleaning products from you as well.It is a service so you would not charge sales tax either. Also, in a lot of states you don t have to do anything until you file for taxes and you can then use your name doing business as ______________.That is being legal. There is a lot of people that do this type of thing completely under the table though..

in my sense i think u need it but get more info about business on http://www.ImChill.com

Is $25 an hour to little to charge for a cleaning business? -

Where do i start to start my own clothing line like ti akoo but dont have to go to college? -

i might be a big star and i want to start a clothing line

Hi,If you want to start your own clothing line, are you refering to such things as t-shirts that are printed with your designs or just a particular style of clothing (t-shirts, sweaters, etc...)?If you are looking to have your artwork or design printed on your t-shirts and other garments, then you might consider using a Print On demand (POD) service. There are a number of good ones out there and they all offer free stores/services. You simply upload your artwork to their servers, place them on the items you wish to sell and that s it. You must do a little advertising on your own if you wish or hand out business cards with YOUR store address on them. This is a fast and easy way to start without spending any or little cash.Hope this helps.Fred

Can/ Should a 14 Year old hang Christmas Lights for other people as a small business? -

I am 14, i always hang Christmas lights on our house every year, i am getting really good at it too. In my neighbor-hood i have the best house so far, around 50,000+ lights. So i was wondering... I really enjoy doing this, is it possible to actually hang some lights for other people to make a little money? Do i need any permits? Is it illegal for a 14 year old to be on the roof? Thanks for the help.

Go for it!. one thing is that you have to do something because somebody obligate you to do so. Completely different when you enjoy doing something, you know how to do it and work in a SAFE environment. however you are not just hanging lights, you are manipulating electric cables, but everybody does it. and also consider that climbing migh be necesary, if not, just have fun and don t make it noticeable as a bussines but as a colalborative task. Tell costumers what movements you are going to preform before hand so you migh have extra assistance from them when needed.

Generally doing work in exchange 4 coin of the realm is encouraged 4 children. As far as the legality of your being on the roof, I dunno that. U might wanna check 2 see if child labor laws are enforced where U live. All best in your enlightenment income!Timothy:o)

if you put them up, people will expect you to take them down. be prepared for that.

Sounds like a great idea just be careful.

No you do not need a permit.Be safe.

Just be safe brother :)

I been scam what web site do i go too to make money online? -

There are a lot of scams out there; the main thing is that if anyone ever wants you to pay them to employ you - run a mile.I write a blog about making money online which has got a fair few suggestions for completely free ways to get started; including how I started out.No sign up, and I m currently running a contest related to auto blogs which might be of interest.Good luck :)

Brandal, yes scams, and those little things that never really make money. So, you control everything yourself.you get a web host-cost $40. now you create a website of something you are interested in.then you put google adsense on your website.then you apply to www.cj.com, www.shareasale.com, www.linkshare.com www.maxbounty.com etc.this gives you lots of products and services. You can put links to on your website. People click ,you make money

Hi,You can make good money selling products and services as an affiliate, you can get up to 75% of each sale you make and its fast and easy money, if you can get targeted traffic! You could also create and then sell your own, product or service on the internet. Figure out what your interests are and you can make money from them. (this is easier said than done, I know) but you can do it if you really want. This is the KEY no matter what you are selling online:1 ... Your target market (who are you selling to and what do they want?)2 ... Your targeted offer (what can you sell that will solve a problem?)3 ... Now simply generate as much targeted traffic as you can to your offer! If you get these 3 things right you cannot go too far wrong... Best of luck!

just go tohttp://bux.to/?r=gowrishankar.kclick register there and in the registeration page enter the username, password, confirm password ,email id,confirm email id,and in the enter ur alertpay id jst enter the same mail id what u gave just before, and in the referrer if column enter gowrishankar.k and sign up ur accountnow login with ur username and the password and enter into the surf ads page and click the ads available there and u can ciew only one ads at a time nd it takes 30 seconds to complete and as it finishesand then click the next ad and repeat the process till u complete all the availble adsAt Bux.to, you get paid to click on ads and visit websites. The process is easy! You simply click a link and view a website for 30 seconds to earn money. You can earn even more by referring friends. You ll get paid $0.01 for each website you personally view and $0.01 for each website your referrals view. Payment requests can be made every day and are processed through AlertPay or YourBuxCard.Earnings Example? You click 10 ads per day = $0.10? 20 referrals click 10 ads per day = $2.00? Your daily earnings = $2.10? Your weekly earnings = $14.70? Your monthly earnings = $63.00The above example is based only on 20 referrals and 10 daily clicks. Some days you will have more clicks available, some days you will have less. What if you had more referrals? What if there were more ads available?you should have an alertpay account that u can create it later as u reach ur 50 $, and in the alertpay(like paypal)u have to give ur address to request the payment or u can make use of ur credit (if any)there

Personally, here s the best way I have found to earn some extra money online. Its EASY, FREE, LEGIT, SAFE. I am a freshman in college and I have personally gone through so many sites that have proven to be scams or just a plain waste of my time. I only spend about 5 minutes a day on reading e-mails and average $75-$100.00 month.http://www.hits4pay.com/members/index.cgCopy/ paste on the above url and sign up with hits 4 pay. This is a site where you get paid for reading e-mails. But wait, you re probably thinking what s the catch??? To be completely honest, there isnt one. You will never have to subscribe or use your credit card information. Just sign up using your real information and try to refer others to make even more money. You automatically receive $10.00 for just signing up... So why wouldnt you at least give it a try? This is a reputable site and I actually know many people (including myself) who were paid. No scam no credit card number/ purchases necessary. Hope that helps =)

I have been scammed as well more than once. I have found something that might be good for you. Took a little time to get going but there is allot of support and real easy step by step info. I just got started, so check it out see what you think. Good luck, Terri R

Rule #1 Never, never use your own money to get started making money online. Take a look at this. Totally free. Anyone can do it and it only takes a few minutes each day, You need to get others to join to make a lot of money but almost everyone who views the video signs up, With no risk and so much potential it is hard to refuse!http://30961.powerbarclub.com

How Can I Make Money Fastt !!? -

I need to buy some stuff for school (clothes , kicks) .. I am still young for a job... any ideass.... and when stating ideas please keep in mind what season of year we are in... fall and my age... too young to work.... Thanks in advance for your help and consideration

Well, I ve found all on-line jobs are scams or schemes, in one way or another. Stick to the tried and true: Babysitting, pet sitting, house sitting, house cleaning. If you re handy, you can do odd jobs, cut lawn, shovel snow, etc. Don t be afraid to get your hands dirty. You feel good about yourself earning money that way. Best of luck.

Well, you could always do a garage sale. Or maybe a lemon-aid stand... but considering it s almost winter maybe not such a good idea. Maybe you can ask your guardian to pay you when you do certain chores. I always get $ on my b-day and i save it.

haha ....Yeah i remember back inda day when i needed cash to for threads and kicks.well if your at least 13 you can try this GTP online survey site. Its called Cashcrate. Yeah we all hear that survey companies are scams but there are a handful out there that are actually legit. Its legit and works if you know how to do it correctly. Its mainly an offer site and has a great referral system where you can make money off of homies you refer. It may seem like a little cash you get at first but it adds up quickly. It takes like a minute to complete an offer.Be my referral and i can help you out on how to work through the offers and get credited faster. Type in cashcrate .com/1624718 Its free to sign up, legit and works. You won t get rich but hey extra spending money, word....If your not into this you can always host parties at someone s house and charge an entrance fee.

Hi,There are some legitimate online jobs that you can try. You can check out http://businesseshome.net to find genuine home based online jobs. My best wishes to you.

Fun easy money making tips? -

I am thirteen. Me and my friend want to make some money so we can buy halloween decorations. My mom says I can t walk dogs for some reason, and I don t want any thing that is online stuff. Something that will help get a lot of money. And how to do it and how to set it up? And something that dosn t cost lots. Please and thank you. :)

How about baby-sitting? It may not be everyone s favorite thing to do (believe me, I know). But, really, you can earn $5+ an hour. I tend to charge $5, and $1 extra an hour for each additional child to be watched. Be willing to fit the persons needs. But, if you simply don t get along with the kids, or the client isn t paying you enough (within reason), there really is absolutely no point in baby-sitting for that family. Or think of your hobbies? Perhaps you and your friend would be willing to house-sit, or make cards or candy and sell them in your neighborhood.

I want to build an ecommerce site for my business. any one have any suggestions? -

any with any suggestion for a provider to go with to create a ecommerce site for my store?

Hi, building ecommerce site for your business is good idea. Ecommerce design is not like the ordinary web design or web development, we need to give more attention to the products or services that what exactly the user likes. So you can do the two possibilities, you may consult with some companies which is popular in building ecommerce solution, or you can buy some software and do it your own if you are the programmer. As my 13 years of experience in this ecommerce web development by using Magento Community Enterprise Edition and Prestashop i have done many projects which is very successful.

How does a salon owner make money in a chair rental type salon? -

I am thinking of buying a salon that rents the space to the stylists and they pay the owner a weekly rent. How does the salon owner make any money? If I m paying rent on the actual building, utilities and all the other costs but I m only taking in what they pay me in rent how does that work as opposed to having commissioned employees that I give 50% of their ticket?

your paying $1000 a month mortgage etc you have 10 chairs rented they all pay 100 month rent

it s either that or you take a percentage of each sale from each hairdresser - So people actually do hairdressing and only get to keep 50% of their sale? that doesn t seem like a very good deal for the worker actually doing the work - maybe paying the owner 30% or something like that, plus as the owner, if you have your own customers, you keep 100% of that money

First of all look at the current owner s books and see how much money they are making. As long as your expenses are less than the rental income, and you are a hairdresser getting free space, you make money! If you have employees that you are paying, you must deduct income tax, match the FICA, pay unemployment taxes, workmans comp, etc. so your expenses are much higher than having independent contractors.

for that my suggestion ishttp://biznuss.net/index.htmli hope it will be beneficial for youkeep using answers.yahoo.com

Any ideas on how i can register my building company as a prefered contractor to insurance companies? -

im trying to register my uk building company with insurance companies to carry out there repair claims, but am not sure how to go about contacting anybody or what the procedures are?I have all the criteria needed insurance polices, fmb+constructionline registered. financially stable. And trading for over thirty years.I just need a foot in the door but don t know how?

As all good things said, try the direct approach. However it may be worth trying other places too. For example, I ve been suffering building problems recently, and Zurich passed the work to Cunningham Lindsay to project manage, and Morgan Ashurst did the actual building and decorating work. Both these firms have national coverage; they probably get a guaranteed flow of work from the insurers in return for a favourable hourly rate. So could be it is guys like this you need to identify and work with as well. As they might be the ones who really control who does the insurance jobs! Good luck!

You have to do a bit of investigating and telephone calls.1. Telephone The Head Offices of Zurich, Axa and any other Big Players. Search the Internet for contact numbers. Ask to speak to someone who deals with repair claims2. Introduce yourself and explain how you can assist them3. Put it in writing along with references

What business did margery kempe start? -

The only thing I could find relating to that person is that she was a 15th century mystic - didn t see anything about her starting a business - maybe she helped get the ball rolling on the cultural habit of medieval people going on pilgrimages though (my best guess). There was money to be made as people went through your town on their pilgrim path .http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margery_Kem---------------------Lots more websites if you do a Google search for Margery Kempe .

What are some alternative forms of financing for a small business? -

Hey all,During these tough times, it s getting harder and harder to achieve traditional funding from banks. As a small business owner myself (a janitorial and cleaning service) I wanted to know what alternative funding sources are available for us?

I d like to respond to Johnathon to this before I answer.Just because a company needs a source of funding, that does NOT mean they are struggling financially with their current setup. It may mean however, that they wish to expand their services and need some financial backing.Anyway, back to the question at hand. There are many sources of alternative funding for small business. They all vary, depending on who your clients are, but I will list a few with a description for each. The first option, factoring, is a practice wherein one company purchases a debt or invoice from another company. It refers to the acquisition of accounts receivable, which are discounted in order to allow the buyer to make a profit upon collection of monies owed.PO Funding covers the supplier expenses associated with a specific purchase order. It enables you to make sales that exceed your current financial capabilities and provides a solid platform for growth. When used properly, purchase order financing can help you grow your company by enabling you to accept larger orders.A Merchant Cash Advance, otherwise known as credit-card-receivablefunding, is an increasingly popular solution for small businesses looking for a flexible form of business capital. As use of credit cards grows as a form of payment at a greater variety of businesses, more small business operators are able to tap into a previously unrecognized form of capital: their credit card receipts. So, to sum it up. Your three options are Invoice Factoring, PO Funding, or Merchant Cash Advances.Hope this helps :)

You have to start thinking S-M-A-R-T. What kind of cutbacks can you make? For example: I drink bottled water. Paying $1 a bottle on something that covers over 65% of our planet is not smart. So I bought one of those water filters that screw into your faucet. I have bottles that I refil over and over again. This doesn t take much time and you will reduce your carbon footprint as a bonus. Do you have a lot of small appliances around the house that are always on? Televisions, subwoofers, computers, modems, sterio equipment and microwaves use the most energy when they are left plugged into the outlet, even when they are turned off. Plug all your plugs from entertainment system into those 6 prong outlet plugs with the switch on them. When you are not using these items shut the switch off. I noticed a huge difference on my electric bill just by doing this. I also bought some of those florescent bulbs that look a lot like a regular bulb. These things use 80% less electricity than regular bulbs. Ave 60Watt incalescent bulb (old school) runs you 2 cents per hour. Ave 60Watt energy bulb averages 0.5 cents per hour. Wanna be creative? Find yourself leaving lights on? Buy a motion sensor switch, the lights will turn on when you enter the room and will turn off (by a set amount of time) when you leave the room. I have one, they cost $15 at HomeDepot. You would be surprised, but these small things add up. If you really need the money right away start cutting back on your food costs. Romain noodles cost a dime and they taste just as good as campbells chicken noodle that costs over $1 a can. Ok no chicken in romain noodles, but you are probably just missing about 4 tiny pieces of chicken. Adjust your toilet to use lesser water. If you don t know how to do this then put a brick inside your toilet chamber . You will use a less water each time you flush, this adds up over time people. Before you know it you will be ahead. Do you really need over 100 channels on your cable tv? Watch shows on-line for free and down grade your cable service. Need new windshield wipers for your car? Who says you have to buy 2? You only need the new one on the drivers side, leave the old wiper on the passenger side. Are you an impulsive buyer?? Listen here s what you do......always save the receipt. Find a place to save all the boxes, packaging, etc. Try to get obsessed with folding all the packing materials, making them neat and tape the receipt onto the box/package. Make a game out of it. And get yourself into a new habit called impulse returning I once bought a shampoo rug cleaner to scrub my carpets. After I was done I didnt need it anymore so I returned it to the store. I like to think of it as free rental. So remember you have to start thinking S-M-A-R-T!my source: http://www.myspace.com/legalizemarijuana

hopefully none for you. if you cant do what you are doing without funding you are doing something wrong.

Whats a good way to make money as a teenager? -

I need to make money to fix up my car and with the job market the way it is i have to compete with adults for minimum wage jobs. I m only 17 so theres alot of jobs that are not interested in-less you are over 18. Whatever it s it has to be legal, and something I can do during the Winter I lifeguard during the Summer.

yeup! there s this really great site, its called treasuretrooper. its amazing. my friend told me about it and i earned almost like.. 15 bucks! :)the link is: http://www.treasuretrooper.com/signingupand for my referral is: http://www.treasuretrooper.com/552085. if you sign up through this then we can communicate and give each other tips and stuff, and i could help you out :)good luck :Dp.s. i have the checks for proof if you wanna see them

Raking leaves in the fall and shoveling snow in the winter are both nice ways to make some extra money. Good workouts too. Even though you are a guy you could baby sit as well. Also, dont be to discouraged about looking for an actual job because many retail stores high some extra help during the holiday season. Also, make yourself available for odd jobs. You would be suprised how often relatives need help. Whether its working on their homes or businesses, people would rather pay you a lower wage under the table than highing someone to rip them off. None of this is too glamorous, but it is legal, seasonal and can help you on your way to fixing up your car. Hope this helps.

How do I keep a large amount of water hot? I am start a street vending business selling hot tea.? -

I will need to have a lot of hot water ready to serve. I have thought about a big thermos. The biggest I have seen was like 64 oz. If I sell 12 oz. cups. 64 oz will not last long. Have any suggestions on what I can do? I have thought about getting a generator but, would be nice if I don t have to get one.

They have those warmers that you can use that have candles under them to keep them warm. Actually, they are like butane or something. You could get some of those and then put water in them, and put thermos s in those to keep them warm, or something larger. Best wishes to you and your business.

Why not go for a very small investment in your new business and put a propane tank and a couple of single burners on a small table? Each burner can hold a 12 quart kettle of water or larger. These can be found at a sports outlet. The burners are very inexpensive, also at the outlet. A thermos won t hold heated water indefinitely, you ll want to be able to control the end result.Len

Is there any way to protect an ecommerce product from being printed by the customer and then resold? -

I am looking at setting up an ecommerce site but I dont know how to protect my products from being photo copied or printed and then resold

If your product is information rather than something physical, then it s damn near impossible to prevent someone from transcribing or printing the info. You can try to format your data with some kind of DRM (Digital Rights Management) scheme, but those tools cost money to license and use, and often cause compatibility problems for end users (your customers) which would drive them away.If you want to protect your product then make sure you have a legal copyright on it. If you have a valid copyright, you can then use weasels -- er, I mean lawyers -- to stop violators and even recover damages for violations of your copyright. However ... if for example all you re selling is the compilation of pre-existing information, like compiling a booklet of info you scraped off the internet, then you don t have a copyright leg to stand on.Hope this helps!

I also added an insurance , since the buyer didnt ask for it but I wanted to make sure the phone will arrive. The buyer got the phone and he claims that a botton doesnt work. I do NOT understand why that does not work cause the phone was in a great condition and I knwo for fact everything worked correctly. I dont know what to do now. I dont want that phone back if it does not work cause this is not what I send. I also said in my listing that I dont accept returns, just because I am in the middle of moving. Please help me. I am a costumer for 5 years with a 100% positive feedback. I am always honest and I dont want to lose my good fedback!

well, as i see it your only options are 1) do not accept the return, 2) accept the return and refund money, 3) have buyer contact post office to claim insurance money or 4) give partial refund

Does anyone have any recommendations for point of sale quot;brick and mortarquot; merchant accounts? -

i m looking into setting up a merchants account for my brick and mortar business and i m not sure where I should go to set it up. does anyone have any suggestions? also, what should i be looking for?

What you should be looking for are the lowest rates possible particularly on check cards and rewards cards as they are the most common cards you will encounter. Some merchant account providers break their rates up by card type allowing you to potentially get a better deal if you do accept a lot of certain card types. This doesn t guarantee you will save money but if you have either very low ticket or high ticket items it could very well make a difference for you.As far as providers go, look on eBay. Yes, eBay. The competition for business is VERY high there resulting in really good deals. Just make sure you shop all of them and requests all of their fees in writing. Some them make up for their low fees with hidden fees. You want to be sure to avoid those providers.

Its really hard to answer this question in the space provided here. Its really simple, but it involves a lot of steps that should be explained. I m making a website to explain everything to people trying to make websites and make money. Please stop by and read a little. It can explain everything a lot better than simply posting a brief comment here. Here s a link to it: http://www.websites-work-from-home.com

Hi,I sugest you visithttp://www.YourFirstWebBusiness.comThere you can download a free eBook than teach you to create your first website at internet. You also have access to a completely free video course that guides you step by step creating your first web business.Luis

you can create your website from frontpage or dreamweaver. You can upload your website for free at www.cjb.net or http://geocities.yahoo.com/ or else you can buy some domains..you can put ads from various trusting PTC sites and also u can add google adsense..you can learn about money earning sites from:www.usamia-bux.blogspot.com If you are want to earn money you can also make a blog and put google adsense ads,or PTC ads.. just like the blog mentioned above..to make a blog go to www.blogspot.com

You should give try to affiliate marketing. But it do needs time and money.

I suggest to try http://www.ihosting.1er.us I think it s helpful

If you want to Create a Website, and this is your first time. Then you might as well start learning how to hand-code, this is not as hard as it seams. Many people have reported that it only toke them around a few days at most, to learn the basics (HTML + CSS).HTML and CSS is not that Complicated, and there are many sites who got Tutorials and References which will be very helpful, both for beginners as well as experienced web-designers. You will find one such sites at http://brugbart.com/As for hosting you wont get any definite response, but you likely will get lots of useful opinions. There is a website called http://www.webhostingtalk.com/ where you are more likely to find what you are looking for, this site is a forum that specializes in the hosting area.It should however be mentioned, that there are lots of places where you can host your website for free, with good results. These places are mostly ideal for smaller personal sites, not for company sites. There is a smaller list included below, be sure to check them out.http://viviti.com/http://www.jimdo.com/http://www.tripod.lycos.com/You should also consider the payed hosting options, i also included a small list of those below. Check with webhostingtalk for more information, because there way to many aspects to consider when choosing a host, and there s not a best for all solution . The below are shared hosts, fine for most people and companies.http://one.com/http://gearworx.net/http://www.bluehost.com/http://www.hostway.com/I would recommend that you sign up with adsense, but its highly recommended that you got your own domain first. You also need to carefully read their Terms, and you need to maintain a privacy policy on your website. If you can t build the site on your own, then its recommended that you hire a web-developer, or make use of one of the many free CMS solutions.

STARTING CLEANING BUSINESS? -

I was wondering when starting a cleaning service do you need references for the small businesses you will be giving service to and is this a must or should I just give up because I only have one reference.

yes you do.good luck!

Im looking to run a wholesale business and i need to build a website along with it.? -

i need to to allow people to purchase things, so the website would require a shopping cart, quanity button for how much the person wants and a add to cart button. basically something like this: www.aerialbouquets.comdoes yahoo website builder give you these options? (to put buttons like these on your site etc)

Nothing against yahoo! or the stores, but the templates look drab and boring. They re cookie cutter sites look like a lot of others. Go check out Volusion.com I went there and have never been happier!

Yahoo will do it but not your best solution.Find a hosting company that offers cPanel backend. From there you can automatically install osCommerce - an open source ecommerce solution that will meet your needs perfectly. For more on building and marketing your website check out www.zedbiz.com or your local chamber of commerce for ecommerce consultants.

It does but Yahoo can be expensive in the long run. There are a lot of carts out there to choose from.I personally went with creloaded.com but would probably go with magento.com if I had to do it again. Do some more homework to look at their bells and whistles to see what works best for what you are looking to do, search engine optimization, yada yada.

Recycling Business Waste? -

Hi, i run a small biz, we are producing a lot of paper, cardboard waste want to recycle it. My question is how much does it cost on average to get a dumpster with regular collections? I m based in Bedfordshire, England I have had quotes between 2000 per year to 300 per year!? Whats the average? I need a fortnightly or even weekly collection! Please Help!! Thanks

My husband is a waste recycling manager for a local council. I know that he sends a crew out just to pick up paper and card from small businesses and this is done for free. So If I where you I would contact your council, they may also offer this service.

We re in West Norfolk and there s a company locally that doesn t charge anything if you take the waste to them. They take anything with a paper content and recycle it to make cardboard. You can have one of their cages on site, which they collect and for which they charge 15 each. Our local council charges for collecting any business waste. It all has to be taken to them and is weighed and charged for. It varies from local authority to local authority.Pose your question on your local Freegle site. Someone on there probably knows a company that does what our local one does. I was able to pass on the information to someone who wanted to know how to get rid of shredded business waste.Good luck!

Don t know the cost but if the paper has business or customer details you might need to shred it.You could ask a local supermarket who they use for their box disposal, retailers are very cost-conscious.

Best timber outlet / store for construction in Punjab? -

Where you can find reliable, trustworthy timber in Punjab ? I need to know opinions as this is seen that due to absence of proper knowledge about timber/wood- low quality wood is being sold under heavy names.I would also take questions, if any.

There is no such store which could be named as reputed or trusted. Timber is such a field which depends us on carpenter or architect. We just pay knowing little about what exactly we have paid for.I did little googling for you and come to below mentioned link having details of timber people in Punjab.

I wnt to start business of imitation jewellery/ soft toys/ embroidary, whichever needs less capital.pls guide.? -

Unless you are making this yourself, you are barking up the wrong tree. Others have said it. If you dont have the capital, or a way to raise it, you dont need to be doing it...

I don t mean to burst your bubble but none of these are good businesses at this time. I was in the gift wholesale business for years and folks are going bankrupt everywhere. Small retail stores are closing and wholesalers are as well. Unless you plan to make this yourself and sell it to family and friends or craft fairs or something then I would avoid going into it. The fact that you have no capital is also a danger sign.

you can visit this site: www.pop-handbags.com, you can get some ideas for you.

How do I get permission from an entity such as the NFL to use team logos? -

I am in the process of producing a product of mine and I would like to incorporate different NFL/ NHL/ NBA/MLB team logos. I would like to know how do I go about getting permission. Thanks for your time.

You ll have to contact the NFL directly (google contact NFL )But expect to pay a LOT of $$$ for permission to use team logos. Also, unless you are a huge company, the NFL is probably not going to let you license their logos for any amount, so if it were me, I wouldn t bother.

You have to contact their licensing department

Help! My Business is not going well!? -

I m 14, and I just started my own christmas lighting business called Easy Christmas Lighting Services. I did this because I want to be my own boss, can t get better than that! I decided on this because start up costs are cheap, and once it gets big I could sell a few franchises to get the company known for it s quality lighting skills. All I did was pass out flyer s in my neighborhood which is ok advertising. I only got about 2 calls which concerns me! I live in a wealthy neighborhood where people should love to have someone put their lights up for them! The other professionals charge about $500 to $2000 to hang lights in my neighborhood I was thinking of about $50 to 250 a job depending on how much clients wanted done. I know business is slow at first, but this is not what I thought would happen. Please give me some great advertising tips, so next year this can be a success. business people tell me what I need to do to get this business running steadily! Thank you

First of all, I congratulate you for starting your own business at such a young age! Excellent! Now, the first thing that hit me after I read your post was your price. I think it s too low. If others are charging the higher rates and getting work, you need to streamline yourself into doing what they are doing, perhaps only a smaller discount than they are offering, but keep yourself in the flow so that clients will take you seriously. The key here is to BE as professional as the professionals if at all possible. You will want to brand yourself as well, so you might want to consider a shorter name for your company, something catchy that people will remember. Be sure to design a logo as well so that people associate the name to the logo to what you do. Once people see your logo and recognize your brand, when they need your services, you will be the one they will think of and call. For this season, there is still time for you to ring a few doorbells and offer your services. This is when people are really thinking they should have had it done already, so you might get a few smaller jobs which is something you can build on for next year. When people are considering hiring someone, they always respond to visuals so it would be a good idea for you to have a picture of a home you have decorated so they can see your work.I ve never been big on flyers unless they REALLY stand out. Put a lot of thought and effort into making something different from every other flyer people get in the mail and I think you ll be in business! Hope this helps.... wishing you all the very best!

hi jake,my husband s.q.farshori is running a software business, you can contact him to make a web site for you, then you can promote it,i am sure your business will grow smoothly, dont be dis hearted,it takes time,i will ask my husband not to charge anything for your site, contact him on mabadaulats@gmail.comall the best.

Passing out flyers isn t enough for you to get clients. Things to consider: First, consider that many people who don t know you would question whether a person your age is up to this kind of job - and how reliable you would be - that is, if your flyer indicated you were a teenager. How was your flyer designed - did it look professional enough? Redesign it if it is not.Did you define clearly what services you offer? When did you drop off the flyers? I d suggest in the future going on Saturday mornings door-to-door in your neighborhood and ring the bell to identify yourself, or walk up to anyone standing outside and introduce yourself. If you go walking, get some candy canes to give with a flyer. Put flyers in a local coffee shop or market, local doctor offices, dentist, beauty shop, nail shop, dry cleaners - talk to the people in local stores and see if they will let you leave flyers. And churches/church bulletin notices are an excellent place to advertise.Get referrals - ask your present clients if they would refer you - and offer a small discount if you get another job because of their referral. If you ve done this before, or have someone who you have done work for, ask them if you can use them as a reference. One of the best ways to get new business is when someone passes the word on about you - it is called word-of-mouth, and it beats advertising by a mile. Be memorable, do good work, make flyers that people notice, be friendly, make your mark on people s minds and they will think of you.Good luck! Some of these things you can do now, you still have time.

How many fliers did you make? Did you pass them out or post them?On most websites for every 100 new people who visit the website, they get 1 sale. Getting 2 calls, is pretty good!!When did you start advertising? I think people in my area (Los Angeles) start around Nov 1st.I think you should try to see if you can post fliers or hang out at the Christmas tree lots.Does your price include the lights? Or do the customers provide them? Your price is way to low if you are providing decorations.Good luck

Setting Up My Own Online Enterprise...? -

I would like to create an online business to generate additional income and eventually allow me more freedom.I Love yoga and am thinking about selling yoga products online.I m a clean, fresh slate so please, educate me if you can! I do appreciate it!

Creating an online business can be a very difficult task, if you don t know what you re doing. But, you already have the first step down. You ve picked a product; the next step is to create a web presence. In order to create this presence you ll need a site. Meaning you ll need a domain and a host. A domain in case you don t know is a sites URL. And a host is the service that post your site on the internet. Keep in mine these are two separate things. Now, you can get a domain (a.k.a URL) from a registrar, but I would recommend using a host with its own private registrar service. So, make finding one your main priority. Next, you ll need to design your website. There are many ways to do it, but, depending on your skill level, not all may work. If you re skilled with HTML, you can probably just use a simple text editor like notepad to write all your coding. But, if you re like most people and don t know what that means, consider purchasing a website creator. Once again some host come with their own private options. After you have your site all set up and your products are ready to sell. There is one more thing you can do to ensure the success of your enterprise. In one word, Affiliate Programs. These are associations with online merchants that pay you to direct traffic to them. And at the same time can be used to direct traffic to yours, for a fee of course. Now, I understand this is a lot of information and to tell the truth we ve yet to scratch the surface. Nonetheless, do not get distressed; making a successful enterprise is more than possible. Anyone with a little hard work, dedication, and passion can reach this goal. So, I implore that you do not make the same mistake as your failed predecessors and do this in a rush. Here is a site I think will help you greatly in your endevourWWW.BISAFFILIA.COM

YOU really don t need a website to make money online !I m doing it and if you look you can find ways to do it also !Even though i can make a website or blog heaven knows how many i have now ! YOU only need proper mentoring into a comapny that provides you with the support and a mentor to suceede !then YOU will be able get those who join under YOU to duplicate the same process and thats how you suceede at home online !Source(s):10 yrs experience

What is a good, honest home based business? -

I tried a reall business you can work from home that involved marketing digital ebooks to people tha wanted to know more about improving their golf.I learned how to market it from a website called PostCardCapital.comGood Luck

You can try GDI ( Global Domains International ).With just $10 a month , you get a domain name of your choice and an affiliate website. With affiliate website , if a user register with GDI under you , you will get $1 a month if their account is active.( 5 tier ).This is not much but imagine if you have 100 members under you?Means you will get $100 a month without doing anything. They have been around since 1999 and imagine if you are the one getting in earlier? It s not too late now to reap the reward of becoming a domain resellers.Act now and get rewarded.Good luck.

There are a lot of unknowns out there. It s great that you are looking for information and of course the more info you get the more you are going to have to decifer what is good and what isn t. How do remittance agents remit money to other countries? -

Through their banking relationships

The st of texas is suing me for $53000. we dont have the money? -

i was doing work as a handy man electrical work. little repairs but now the st is suing me for no lic. i have been a electrician since 97 at that time you did not need a lic to do minor repairs but in 2004 the law changed and they have been pursuing me since. there are times i feel like ending my life i don t know what to do. some one who is kind hearted and knowledge please help me. i am no longer working and dont do that type of work any more.

Don;t let the state intimidate you, it s the Feds you always try to please - no matter what:). Here s where you pull your paperwork together.Find your tax returns and any papers you kept from 2004 until you stopped doing the business. You simply have to prove your earnings for that time period, and don t volunteer you were doing the same work prior to that!Next, if you can get them contact the IRS for your federal return earnings statement from those years (2004 until you stopped the work). Finally find a paralegal service or a contingency attorney, tell them what you stated and give them the files. Never fight a battle if you don t have to, there are people hungry enough to do it for you.As for the state, don t speak with anyone there or send them anything until you have your ducks in a row. Besides, if your assets from your business are less than the amount you owe, they can not force you to sell your primary residence to pay it off.Good luck. Now go have a beer and relax! It s not worth dying over.

Why does choices create opportunity cost? -

Homework question?Hint: Define opportunity cost.

Because if you choose to do something, the opportunity cost is what you could have done. So if you go to college and pay 120,000, the opportunity costs are time you could have spent doing something else, money you could have made working a job, etc.

How to open this product? -

So I bought a new skincare product today, and it s my first time using it. I believe it is this product. http://www.cleanandclear.ca/en/prod_detaIs there a special way to open it, or what? Because I ve twisted and turned and it won t open. When I press down on the thingy, nothing comes out. I have to resort to taking the whole tube-stick thing out.Returning it isn t really an option...

I m not sure if I can explain this, but I ll take a shot at it.There are two things that turn on that product. The first one is connected to the tube. When you twist that one, it opens it up, and you ll see the moisturizer in it. The second thing is connected to the first thing; it s also purple and that s what you press down on. Twist the second thing counterclockwise till it stops you. Then turn it back to its original state, and press down. It should come out now.

Why wont anyone hire me ?!? -

i live in scarborough, ONT. ive applied EVERYWHERE.. even when they are hiring , but they never call me back. my resume is really good. maybe its becaise ive never had a job before? but there not giving me the chance !help plz ? i need a job asap!

Hi XoI am an employer so here are some of the things I look for. I am guessing you are a young lady, if I ve got this wrong then sorry and ignore the bit about makeup. There are always a few things that you need to make sure when you apply for a job - firstly do you meet the criteria for the job. If you don t then decide if it is worth while applying? If you are close enough to the criteria then yes, if you are a long way off then no.If you go for interview check that you are dressed smartly, your hair is clean and tidy, you aren t wearing too much makeup (but don t wear none!), a bit of jewellery but not much, no obvious piercings apart from earrings or a simple stud. Think classic understated simplicity!Write your resume carefully and then prepare a handwritten covering letter applying for the job. Make sure they are well written - spell checked and also good and grammatically correct English. Make sure that you do some research on the business you are applying to. Read their website or their brochure. Work out several good questions to ask, maybe ask your friends and parents for ideas. If you haven t got any work experience yet - then get some! Find a charity or a business where you can work for nothing in exchange for experience! If nobody will give you experience then start your own business! Jonathan

the way the economy is right now when you apply for a job, a hundred other people are applying also. The lack of experience will hold you back and I know thats hard, I would suggest doing some charity work to build on your resume and just hang in there. It s not just you its happening to everyone right now.Good luck in your search!

Do you dress properly? Do you fill out the applications with proper spelling and grammar? If you fill them out like you stated your question I can see why you don t get called.YOU may think your resume is really good, but if you ve never had a job what do you need one for? There s no work experience to put on it!

For starters some places will take weeks to hire anyone. Also, if there is not a lot of jobs in the area sometimes places will try and give the position to people who they really feel need the job. Looking for jobs suck sometimes.

I will hire YOU

it may be they dont think your are professional or mature enough.why not ask them for feedback -

Are you ugly? if so then there s your problem

Home business Lifepath Unlimited? -

One of my clients came across this home based business opportunity.Have you heard of it ? If yes, what is your take? What questions would you ask if you were considering signing up ?

No

I would like to recommend you my home based business program that works amazing. I find correct home based business program and applied the program, then I make easy money everyday. You must have the program that works. You can find the best home based business program that worked for me. You can find more information here link below.

My take is that I wouldn t bother with it. They have not been around very long. They are not rated with the BBB, but have had 11 complaints filed. 6 of those complaints weren t even responded to.Their products are way overpriced and there is already tons of personal development stuff out there. I am a proponent of personal development, but to me this just looks like one of those direct sales companies that decided to start a direct sales company and threw in a product to make it seem legit. Then overpriced the product to pay inflated commissions. I doubt there are many customers who are not also distributors. My biggest question would be what is the customer to distributor ratio?

I wud like to explore.even its hard work - i m ready to take uo, but it shud be a legal business.my email is in my profile.can u ask ur client to contact me?

Do you need small business insurance? -

I have started a very small company with the 3 owners that is just simply computer repair. I have not even looked into insurance. Is it really needed for such a small operation? Thanks!

The question is... can you afford the risk if you don t buy it? (i.e. self-insured). Let s say you try to fix a computer but something went wrong and you fried the computer. The owner sues you for damages. Can you afford to pay? Or let s say you hired someone who decided to break customer s password to access the customer s stash of celebrity naked photos (hey, it has happened). Celebrity sues the employee, AND your company, AND all the officers/partners in the company. Can you afford to pay the damages or even just the court costs? And ask yourself realisticly: can you define and risk and, secondly, can you AFFORD the risk?

If they re salaried employees, you need to get workers comp insurance. Business insurance is an important item- it s there to protect you against things that as a small business, you can t afford to pay out.

How can Canada Post rip people off like this? -

If you send a small package to international that weighs 500g or less its about $8 but if it weighs in at 501g the price jumps to nearly $15 Isn t that rediculous? Only 1g more and it increases by $7. They defended their horrible rate calculations by saying you only really overpay for smaller parcels but with bigger parcels it saves you money. Since most small parcels are around the weight of 1lb (around 500g) they are ripping off people much more often than giving them a deal. Unfortunately they are the only reasonable postal service to choose from. Sounds like a big scam to me.

Like you ve found out, they re still cheaper than other services, so they can get away with it. To get around this, get your parcel well under 500 g. See if it can fit into a shipping envelope--it can work for books, CDs, and clothes. Or if a number of items are going to the same person, bundle it all into a bigger parcel.

How to make some serious money online...!!!!?? -

Starting A Company Questions? -

I am looking into starting a company. I am currently in Full Time Employment and I intend to remain in Full Time Employment whilst I operate the company. The company is a weekend thing that can only be operated at the weekend. What I need to no is: How does tax and national insurance work? Are there any restrictions on being in Full Time Employment and Owning a Company? What kind of records do I need to keep? Can petrol be of set in expenses? Thanks

First you need to decide what type of company to set up.If you are providing a service to someone - eg plumber, gardener, mechanic etc you should be a sole trader, you will not need to notify Companies House, nor deal with any administrative or accounting requirements which are required of limited companies. You must register with HMRC as self-employed, even if you already send in a tax return. The advantages are that you can carry on using your personal bank account as your business account. Essentially, your business income is counted alongside your existing personal income, so the accounting side of your business will be very straightforward. But, you will be personally liable for any debts you incur in the running of your business which you wouldnt be liable for under the limited company route. Self employed people are also liable for Class 2 NI contributions (currently 2.40 per week: 2009/10 Tax Year). In terms of accounting, you will need to submit an annual self assessment form to HMRC annually.A Ltd company...is more complicated, you ll have to register your company with Companies House (an accountant/solicitor/specialist broker can do this for a one-off fee of ca 150). Essentially this looks more official and gives you personally greater protection against bad debts. Tax wise you pay class IV and corporation tax and the rest you can pay (after expenses etc) as a dividend. So you ll pay less tax, but the accountancy side is more exacting and annual accounts will need to filed annually and you ll likely need a qualified accountant, so that will cost more. There are also partnerships and limited liability partnerships which are variations on the above. As regards being in full time employment and owning a company, first if you are working for someone else consult your work contract - they might not allow it, in which case you can set up the company in the name of a spouse, parent or similar. You are best off getting an accountant to answer the technicalities of this though. What records...all cash in and all going out - book-keeping plus related business expenses - whether professional services, parts, post, stationery etc. Essentially a record of everything you spend on the company. Keep any information and documents that you may need to help you fill in your tax return or to make a claim. If you lose a few receipts don t worry - especially if they are for minor amounts, but don t of course go claiming for stuff that is not relevant to your business. Petrol...you can charge 40p per mile for the first 10,000 miles and 25p per mile thereafter, in any one tax year. But going to/from home your place of work is not business mileage. Essentially keep a log of where you went and when and the mileage. If your t/o is above 67,500 you ll have to register for VAT and keep records for that too. Lastly, in my experience provided that you file accounts in good order and don t make too many mistakes HMRC are unlikely to hassle you - there are more than enough tax cheats out there to worry about whether a small businessman has claimed a few receipts illegally.

I run a small business and find that calling the IRS or government tax office to be very useful. They can give you a better idea of details.I don t think there are restrictions on working while running a business, in fact many financial institutions might be more willing to help you out if you are.You need to keep meticulous records. There are programs like Quickbooks that are an asset to any business. You might also want to hire an accountant and/or business manager. Not too sure on the last part. I would again ask your local government tax office for that type of detail.

before you start you need to construct a robust business plan and keep perfect records of all income and all expenses as this is what your tax will be based on.My husband is self employed and pays his N.I. by standing order as a percentage of his gross earningspetrol can be an expense if you use a vehicle in the running of the business

If your serious about owning your own company, even a small one, there are three things you need; an accountant, a lawyer and a banker. That doesn t mean you have to spend thousands, but without them, your opening yourself to major problems. And you ll get much better advice than you will on a website.

The citizens advice bureau will give you paperwork telling you all you need to know about starting a business free of charge .Personally i would start the business keeping a good percentage of the profits in a safe place and wait for the gov vultures to inform me how much protection money they wanted to allow me to stay in business .

Yes you can do both as long as you declare your full earnings at the end of the year. An accountant would be able to answer all of these questions properly

you can do both.you need to keep a money log that covers everything you do IE how much you spend, how much you earn, how much goes into product, how much is bills for the company such as storage etc.. and profits.this will help you at the end of each month and the end of the year. would be nice to know your making money i mean what if you spend $500 running the company but only take in $480 at the end of the month well thats not good is it you might want to track that etc..taxes at the end of the year will be a pain without records.you will be filling 1099 more than likely and that means you need to save about 30% of what you earn so that you can pay taxes at the end of the year. hey you can take that 30% and invest in short term cd s or other short term municipal bonds etc... hey if you have to save it why not make some money off it.the key here is save that 30% because the last thing you want is to do taxes at the end of the year and be told you owe the irs $7k and not have it. what would be nice is to have that 7k in the bank and have earned say another 800 off investments and then be told you only owe $3500. even if you owe 7k you still have the 800 in your pocket. get a website and have it SEO d (search engine optimization) even if just for regional seo. web advertisement is so much cheeper and efficient than dong paper advertisement.also depending on the company you work for you might need to look into a no compete clause. IE you work for verizon but want to sell sprint cellphones on the weekends from you mall cart.
