My husband is a waste recycling manager for a local council. I know that he sends a crew out just to pick up paper and card from small businesses and this is done for free. So If I where you I would contact your council, they may also offer this service.
We re in West Norfolk and there s a company locally that doesn t charge anything if you take the waste to them. They take anything with a paper content and recycle it to make cardboard. You can have one of their cages on site, which they collect and for which they charge 15 each. Our local council charges for collecting any business waste. It all has to be taken to them and is weighed and charged for. It varies from local authority to local authority.Pose your question on your local Freegle site. Someone on there probably knows a company that does what our local one does. I was able to pass on the information to someone who wanted to know how to get rid of shredded business waste.Good luck!
Don t know the cost but if the paper has business or customer details you might need to shred it.You could ask a local supermarket who they use for their box disposal, retailers are very cost-conscious.
