Would you buy glowsticks for pound;1.00 each outside a venue? -

Hey, im setting up a little business based around nightclubbing accesories, basically ill be selling products to people around the main city centre area at night, outside venues etc.. I was wondering if 1.00 each is a fair price to be asking for glowsticks (6 long 10mm wide)+strap Thanks in advance.

You could try them at a quid each and see how it goes. But in setting a price you have to think about -what they cost you and what if any discount you may get on bigger orders. You may want to consider 1.30 each and then 4 for 5 - as this will make transactions quicker. You may need a street traders license - see your local council. If you have other items then again packs are the way to go - Girls Nite or Hen night packsetcCan you advertise locally and freecheck Gumtree http://dundee.gumtree.com/other_gumtreesCheck out the clubs would they allow people in if they had your glow sitcks and or other products.I guess most folks are all heading into clubs at the same time so you may be very busy over a short space of time. Many inner city areas will have rules about street traders - but then you can check them out at the council.Another thing to consider is the route into town and where best to set up - but a crowd draws a crowd and you want to get noticed.Sounds like a good ideaALL THE BEST.

If i was very very drunk. However only thick sober people would pay that much for one glow stick. You will also need to check out the local rules for street trading, if you ve got to pay for a licence etc will you be able to make that money back within the timescale you need and enough profit to create a worthwhile investment if not don t do it.

thats a ver good idea , before i go clubbing i have comping shop that i rregularly goto for my sticks and they charge me 4.50 for a pack (whick is 2), so 1 each is very reasonable. good luck

no not when i can walk into any Poundland store countrywide and pick up a tube of 10 glowsitcks in all sizes for 1

I think thats quite reasonable... U can prob sell them for a bit more inside a club cos when yr drunk anything is a bargain

Truck Driving Career - What Does It Take to Start a Career Driving Trucks? -

Top on your list should be the ability to handle the lifestyle changes of a trucker. You re going to be on the road for weeks or months at a time, away from family. Most guys start young, around the age of 21, and tend to be single. You need to a CDL to drive interstate with sufficient experience at driving school.A first year driver makes up to $40k a year with an increase of $5-10k in the second year.

There are a lot of trucking companies out there that will train you. Do your homework and pick a good one. They will charge you for the training but you get it back if you make it.

Good ways to make a little extra money, outside my salary? -

just looking for some goods ways to make a little extra money on top of my salary

There are ways to earn money online which only require an hour or two per day but they require persistence and focus.A program I m doing now is free to sign up and has different components that you can join or not join if you choose. Some components are free and some aren t (those that aren t free have a free trial period). The free ones have a more limited earning capability but can be used to build capital for the ones with more substantial earning potential. If you re interested see my source for more information.

Amway, Avon, Betterware, and other booklet based businesses will provide you with a secondary income. Some people end up quitting their day jobs because of better incomes provided by these types of businesses. You could do Online Surveys. I have a Contact that makes extra income doing these surveys. It s not a great deal but enough to buy Christmas presents and pay extra bills. You need to do about 10 surveys a day to make it worth your time if you expect a decent income from it.Telemarketing is also a good income if you don t mind abusive rejections. See the link for more ideas

earn through your work but get rich doing something you love. so try to think about what you enjoy doing and make a living out of it..like baking, knitting, crafting, anything...or think about stuff you can buy and let other people rent it like party stuff---chocolate fountain, popcorn machine, soft ice cream machine...

ok, it would really help if I knew what you were into? If you want to work online you can provide some service? if you want to work offline you can get a part time job? depends really what you are into :)

Does anyone know of a legit quot;work at homequot; job or company for a new mom and military spouse? -

You need to send your resume out to real jobs you are qualified to do. In your cover letter you need to state that you wish to work remotely, from your home office. LOTS of companies, especially in CA operate this way. They usually provide transportation for you to come in for an interview and for you to attend company meetings a few times a year, but otherwise everything is done online

Congrats on your new baby and please tell your husband thank you for serving our country. There are a lot of great home based businesses out there that are perfect for at-home moms. What do you enjoy? Find your passion and then move forward from there. For me, I liked candles, but worried about the safety. So Scentsy was a good place for me. If you love the product and believe in it, then it shows. Your business will grow if your customers can see your passion.Good luck! I hope you find the perfect fit for you and your family.Lisa
