Ebay Item: Customer is complaining it is not Authentic, wants refund, well past 45 days.? -

I sold a pair of Ugg boots on ebay. To my knowledge they are authentic. The person bought them Aug 13, left positive feedback and was happy. Now today, Oct 2nd, wrote to tell me they are fake and they are filing a dispute with ebay if I dont give them a refund. I explained that to my knowledge they are authentic. I bought them through ebay last year but they were too small so I resold them. They keep threatening me and then tried to open a case in paypal but it wont work bc its past the 45 days. Now she is sending the boots back and wants a full refund which I dont think is right. She said she wore the boots and then found them leaving fur on her sock. Plus I wont get back my ebay/paypal fees now ... what should I do?

contact ebay yourself and tell them its been over 45 days and they have worn them, there has been no contact until now. your not willing to give them a refund! it will be ok

This is a scam. She has decided she either do not like the boots or is short on cash and see you as an easy target to get money.You should do nothing. If she returns the boots to you do not open the box. Return them on her dime. Flat out tell her you are not accepting a return of this merchandise.I had to do this with someone. Once they figure out they can not bully you into a refund they will move on.

Let her send them back to you..she doesn t have a hope in hell.If it s past the 45 days she s far too late. Even paypal won t entertain her so don t fall for her bullyboy tacticts. Unfortunately you will always get one who tries it on, just ignore her.

If she persists Definately States she is Going to send Them..Just send Her an E-Mail (Copy E-Bay) Stating that the 45 Days Period Has Expired and If She Sends them Back You Will Accept them In Good Will as a Gesture Gift To Compensate You For The INconvenience She Has Caused You !!! You Have Now Put The Ball Firmly In Her Court.. If She Sends Them After That E-Mail.They re Yours !!

If they funded their PP via a credit card they could initiate a charge-back.However I doubt that is the case as they probably have done so alreadyI would just ignore them and block then from bidding on any other items.

They sell boxes at the Post Office. You package the item securely, address the package and then take it to the Post Office and pay the postage.Be careful when packaging. They have certain rules. They re clearly posted.

you have to pack the item yourself and adress it.The post office have flat rate boxes that may be cheaper and easier to use, but you still have to pack it yourself.

Why would females better be better working in a clothing store than males? -

I think males can be good too, depending on if they like clothes. Some of my best help I ve had at clothing stores have been from males who were really into fashion and loved to dress girls up, especially shoe salesmen who like to help women fit into nice shoes so it just depends if they like their job and what they re doing I think. They can t really go into the women s dressing rooms so for that reason the store will usually hire more women. (maybe, just my thought!)

How do I overcome managers and employees gossiping about each other including me at a retail store? -

I ve been working at a clothing retail store for about a year now as a part-time. Within a year, there were so many employees and managers that left. I know that since it s a women s clothing store, the employees will gossip about each other. Our store recently got a new co-manager and she s been gossiping about everyone including myself with the other managers. I didn t hear about it before, but the coworkers told me recently. I never spoke about anyone because I believe it s petty. When the others would gossip, I would just nod but I wouldn t say anything about another co-worker. It made me furious however, that I m hearing these things they say about me now and in front of me they are all nice or act nice. I try my best at work, I can definitely say this for sure, but it s getting to me about all this gossiping. They talk about each other and once they are with those coworkers they talked about, they all crack jokes, laugh, like there is nothing going on. I get all paranoid now thinking one of them talked about me when one of them happens to give me a cold shoulder. How do I overcome this?

The best thing to do is not gossip at all . set an example they will be shocked that your not gossiping . dont show an interest they will be surprised.they you carless. it work its just matter of time

Ignore them, they sound like fools. Stick to your work and when they start talking about another worker, walk away without saying a word.

You are doing the best thing by not gossiping with them. Continue to be an example. If they say something to you about someone tell them you do not participate in gossip. This will keep them from coming to you. Just by you listening to them, you are participating in a passive way. Let them say what they want about you. They will probably quit and go somewhere else in a short while anyhow. You are there to do a job. I would not let them affect your work. Just be mature. I would only speak when it is work related. If they talk to you, be pleasant.
