Car Wash business,questions? -

Ok im 19 and a student and i want to start small car wash business. My approach is unique, im going to bill customers monthly, 50$ and i will wash their car once a week. Including a car wash, with detail, vacuum and leather treatment. My questions are, do you think using their water hose and electricity will work? Also, how should I bill them? because they might not want to pay the 50 up front, and if I wait a month they might scam ME.

Always have them pay you after the detail is done or your gonna spend half your time chasing down and collecting payment if they even pay. And $50 for 4 wash/details per month?? Are you sure you don t mean $50 per wash? That s a more realistic number for a basic exterior wash/dry and a basic wipe down of interior and vacuum. Their water and electricity will work for you if you explain that to them up front. Or you could do what I do and use a No Rinse wash. Takes me 2 gallons of water to do entire vehicle. I just go to the store and buy 2 gallons of distilled water and use that. Also, letting them know you would only wash their vehicle with distilled water to prevent water spots makes you stand out. Just explain you will need an outlet to run your wet vac and ask them if that would be a problem. I ve never had a customer say no. Don t let that stop you from starting your business. If you have any questions or would like to know what products I use send me a message. Good luck to you.

No, using their stuff won t work. Not all would have outlets where it would be convenient for you. You d be better off investing in a pickup truck with water tank and a generator. THEN you run into the problem of the gray water discharge, as a lot of communities now have BIG concerns regarding the dirty water runoff into regular storm drains. As for your billing... You bill them PER WASH, but with a monthly discount of say, 10% (i.e. buy X washes now and get 10% off)And you are seriously undercharging, IMHO. Even running a car through the gas station wash is like 5-10. A premium car wash where you get the vacuum and hand-dry is $20. And there are at least 4 weeks per month. $50 a month is WAY TOO CHEAP. Another possibility: basic car wash package, premium car wash package, full detailing. $50 gets 3 basic washes (once per week) and 1 premium wash. You can give coupons for discounts on other packages or services. You will need insurance... in case of accidents and damages to customer vehicles, and some locations, such as company parking lots, may not allow you to wash there. Keep that in mind.

While your approach is unique to car washing, it s a pretty common business model for pool boys and lawn care type businesses. Try talking to some local lawn mowing or pool cleaning business owners in your community. They may have some type of contract, form, etc.

Plz give a little work to your creativity... suggest a creative name for my business? -

plz give a little work to your creativity... suggest a creative name for my business.. am planning to open up a store selling books movies and music..

I suggest that dont go too Over creative with this. You want the customers to read the name and KNOW exactly what the stores has. You dont want the name too far off of what your store is selling. Keeping this in mind i think a good name would be.... hmm ... MBM --- Movies books music.

Does anyone know of a legitimate company that will allow you to work from your home? -

I am a stay at home mom that is seeking to work from my home. Is anyone aware of a legitimate company(s) that will allow you to work from home and the pay is good. there are so may scams that I wanted to get some valuable information before I began searching, Any advise is greatly appreciated.thank you

Become an ebay seller, that would be good for you.

The really valuable information you can get is that there are simply no sites that allow you to make income from home. None. There are some survey sites that give you points, and after a few months you may have enough to get a set of plastic bowls, or a nose hair trimmer. But that s as good as they egt.Surveys are NOT for earning a living - so do not be scammed and listen to the claims of the scammers.

I know Uncle Sam s Printing offers a cool work-at-home program. It s basically calling around local businesses and selling them discounted printing -- you get commissions on new sales and residuals when they re-order. Adds up fast. And there s not a lot of people doing it, so it s still easy to make good money with it.They don t advertise it on their website or anything, but you can email them and ask. http://www.unclesamsprinting.com

have you just lost your mind?!?!!? go out search or a job!

Can buyers request their payment be with held? -

I posted something worth a lot and I dont have it yet until I receive the payment....somebody bid and I wondering now...

Hello there,If you mean you listed something on an auction site, you should put the fact that the item has been delayed and will not be available immediately at the end of the auction. You should probably put your best guess as to when it will be available to be shipped to the winning bidder. Since the auction has already started, you should contact each bidder directly to give them those facts and offer to allow them to withdraw their bids if the delay is a problem for them.Later,

Why do donut shops open at 4:00am? -

To catch those early risers who need their donut and hot cofee fix on their way to work or school.

Donuts are an easy and convenient food for on the go people who have early jobs. Mostly because donuts are such a popular morning food, they remain open late and open very early for people who are up early.

its a cultural thing. its like that in boston i know. omg donuts rock.

Im a stay at home mom, And Im wondering if there are any legitimate work at home programs out there? -

You need to send your resume out to real jobs you are qualified to do. In your cover letter you need to state that you wish to work remotely, from your home office. LOTS of companies, especially in CA operate this way. They usually provide transportation for you to come in for an interview and for you to attend company meetings a few times a year, but otherwise everything is done online

I suggest that if you re going to do a home business, to not do one over the internet.Usually people can do Day Care or Hair Salons. I know that one used to be able to open a B B sometime ago, but that s no longer allowed I believe.Other than that, I suggest NOT staying at home and actually taking your skills outside.

yes, there are work at home jobs, but they arent the same as your normal 9-5 out in the real world. generally you are not paid hourly, but on commission or per finishing an assignment. for hourly, you need a degree to happen to work with a company that allows it. The vast majority of work at home jobs are also not get rich quick things. do not trust anything that says, earn 300 dollars your first week! or anything like that. anything that is telling you you are going to earn a certain amount is a scam. also make sure to check out everything with the better business bureau. the only legitimate things that i know of are selling things, like avon (www.youravon.com), mary-kay (www.marykay.com). babysitting or running an in-home daycare. Marketing, like ameriplan (sorry, dont have their info) or freedom united (www.PerfectWorkForMoms.com). my sister does cha-cha (www.chacha.com) and likes it well enough. its really just a matter of figuring out what your niche is and what you are wanting and looking for. but be realistic!

In my opinion, anything advertised online is not. However, if you decide to check them out, the key question is: does it cost you any money to participate? If so, or if they ask for a credit card number, it is a scam.

blogging,or you can set up a paypal account and get free money.Just view videos on youtube they will teach you how to get free money on a paypal account. It s a low amount but it all adds up!

Absolutely. you will be a business partner and franchise with a 53 year old company. No large financial risk. www.waltz123freedom.com

No.You will find Scams......lots and lots of scams. There are a few legit opportunities but those usually have very long waiting lists.

Yes, these are some of the programs that I ve checked out. You should do the samehttp://workingfromhomecareers.com
