That s just to apply for a license. Needless to say I dropped the idea and spent $600 for a training aide.The point is, be careful about copyright. Start by sending her one last email telling her that you need to receive a refund via PayPal or a check that clears your bank by a date (say 10 days from the email, or less if you want) or you will report it to eBay AND PayPal.You can report it to eBay as a dispute. If you have to do that, use the emails that were sent to you indicating that she received your return as the main proof.I ve had 2 or 3 instances where this happened and in one instance had to go back to eBay and PayPal 30 days after to get my money back. The dispute process worked fine.I d suggest sending the email and giving her 7 - 10 days to resolve it and make it clear that you re moving to dispute if you don t hear back from her immediately. Also check her recent feedback. Provided her recent feedback is good and not increasingly bad, then this is probably just a bad hiccup during a busy time of the season and she ll probably make good on it.Hope that helps.

I would definitely open a dispute. You have 45 days from the payment date to open a dispute. After you open a dispute, Paypal will contact the seller and you can both negotiate terms and see if things can be resolved. If that does not work, you can them escalate the dispute to a claim. After opening the Dispute you only have 20 days to escalate it to a claim. Once it is escalated to a claim - We place a hold on all funds related to the transaction until the dispute is resolved or closed. So she can either return your money by herself you can then close the claim or if you keep on top of the whole process Paypal will return you your money.

You may be able to get around this by owning and providing the facilities and staff while a veterinarian actually owns the practice. But you would need to have the capital to purchase an appropriate building, diagnostic equipment, hospital cages, surgical equipment, exam room equipment, etc etc etc. If you simply want to get into a management position, you can go a couple of different routes--Certified Veterinary Practice Manager or a degree in veterinary technology that focuses on management. You say you are a veterinary technician/assistant, so I m assuming that you are not a credentialed veterinary technician. (There is a difference is those two titles) Therefore if you went the degree route (which I would say is actually the best option as a bachelors degree is going to look much better on your resume and give you other options for what to do while you look for that management position) you would need to enroll in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology degree program and earn you Associates degree and then work towards your bachelor s degree focusing on practice management. St. Petersburg College offers this bachelor s degree program and there is even a special scholarship for people who are following the management track. You must make at least $471 in profit via cups of coffee to be profitable in this scenario which is 236 cups of coffee in 12 hours per day. Doable? absolutely. Every cup over that is $2 profit; to make $20k profit you need to sell 264 cups per day ($20,000/$2 (profit/cup)/365(figure out cups/day)+236(cups to break even)=264 cups)o.O that was fun. A few things that I ve picked up from a couple I know who run a small music shop is that you should always be kind and courteous to your clientele (as a store associate always should). They ve always gone out of their way to help me get what I m looking for even if they don t have the product, for instance they ve special ordered two guitars for me even when they didn t carry the carrier brand.As far as advice goes, from what I ve learned from them, you have to franchise the brand names of guitars you sell on a year to year contract. For instance, if you start a new contract with Fender, you re required to buy a # amount of Fender guitars over the course of the year. My advice would be to research what brands are currently selling, and to use the most affordable models available (imports). If someone wants an American model, see if they be willing to wait for a special order. Don t start more contracts than you can handle. If this is going to be your first business, I d keep it smooth for the first two or three years with two franchise names such as Ibanez/Fender or BC Rich etc. (all affordable name brands). Once you figure out how the business runs, then you can slowly reach out into other areas like Gibson and Rickenbacker.I would also recommend specializing in just guitars for your first several years. If your goal is to sell varieties of different instruments, gradually expand each year until you meet that goal. Don t overwhelm yourself with products that you may be unfamiliar with (can lead to stress and poor customer relations).If you re going to be doing guitar tune-ups, just make sure you know what you re doing! That s not always an easy service to offer especially if you re trying to lower the strings.If you have the space, it would also be good to rent out a small room to a musician(s) who can teach people how to play guitar as their own business. Needless to say, I wrote them a letter stating that I wasn t going to pay, and that if they tried to collect, I would notify my lawyer, the attorney general and the bbb.The rep came by and apologized, saying that she placed the ad for me because she thought I wanted it (I never gave any indication that I did), and that I was closed the day she stopped by to get my approval. I m sorry, but there are several other ways of getting in touch with me to get my approval, whether it s phone, email, or fax... none of which she attempted.Anyway, the sales manager is supposed to call me, and I m afraid to talk to her. I am thinking that she s going to try to get me to pay something, since they will claim I got use out of it (which is not true-- not one person came in and said they saw the ad). How do I handle the situation when the sales manager calls me?What do I tell her?

If you don t have a contract with them they don t have a leg to stand on. If I were you I would put my foot down and refuse to pay. If she threatens with legal actions then tell her you ll see her in court. That will either call her bluff or get something resolved through the courts.

Bank of America charges $6 to cash a business check. In my opinion, they have my money. It s mine and I have every right to have it. I m not asking them to transfer funds to my account, nor am I asking them to go out of their way to get the money to me. I am taking the check to them, all they have to do is punch a couple buttons on the computer, see that there is money in the account and hand me some cash that they have in the drawer right next to the teller.

I have created a really sucessful little cleaning company, and I want to grow it, but the staff I employ are unreliable and let me down, meaning I end up having to re-schedule or offer the customers cheaper cleaning.How do I grow it without pushing my own limits with time (I end up spending 7 hours a day cleaning to keep customers happy), grow the business and allow myself time at home, to do paperwork!

Staff reliability depends on office discipline, staff should do only office work, no politics, and they should perform their given task, if anybody fails to perform his/ her duty kicked him/ her off the duty and from the company no need keep such stupid who is undermining the company procedure and its set up. There should not be delayed in payment of their wages, timely salary payment and timely delivery of required services are the basic and core issue of every business. if it is maintained by the employer then there should not be problem. Has anyone been paid for work assignments done for Make Sunday, LLC? -

they are a personal assistant company. They have a website but none of the links for press work and all references to them have been deleted off Job Vent. Think it is a scam. I have done 2 assignments, but still don t know if I will be paid the $600/wk they promise. In this economy there are a lot of scams that say they will pay you to work at home. I don t see any other references to the company other than their own website.

I just began to work with them. Their office is in NYC on Park Ave, right? Their website messes up with English and German, maybe?Anyhow, I just began my 2nd job when they wanted me to use my bank account to get a wired payment into it to pay for something abroad.... my instinct said NO WAY! and I just sent them an email telling them that their excuse for using my bank account was not welcomed, when Western Union will accept payments of up to $7500 over the phone with a service charge of $340 or if you take it to an agent and use your debit / credit card the service charge will be $225.I basically told them that business transactions have to be honest and based on integrity. I have yet to build trust with them and they are asking me to give them my bank account number? Are they joking or what? and proceeded to tell them that I m fine ending my services to them right here. If I am still in probationary period.... maybe they should step in and take over! Oh yes, they were luring me with a bonus payment of $300 by using my bank account! It s not about the money anymore.... it s integrity.I began looking the www for Make Sunday, LLC. but couldn t find anything on them until now. Thanks for putting that question up!

No..and I am very leary about continuing to spend hours putting together researchs on rental cars and such. I have asked for a contract of employment for the work before I continue...we ll see how that goes. It also seems that anything that I have found about them gets deleted.. hmmm.. and why is it when you google them, not even the website comes up in the search. It s just very weird. How to find stats, market research etc to help with a business plan? -

Can you access government stats, Uni s research etc and if so how?With the WWW I thought there would be a lot of info but I can t seem to gather the right data.Any suggestions welcome.

This can be tough to find online, even though we all love Google (except Yahoo and MSN). I d look at compete.com, maybe alexa.com for stats and maybe some market research. Then I d look up market research companies (especially those near you if your topic is necessarily geographically focused); looking at what they offer and how they claim to offer their services. There are gobs of government research available online, but you have to be very clear on what you want and then go through alot to find it. Try your local Secretary of State website and then looking for internet based market research companies. Usually stats are better and more important than market research (some would argue that stats are market research).Look at other companies doing what it is that you want to do and study their annual reports, websites, board of directors (if they have one) and how they run, who they hire to help them with research and development, and you ll start to see patterns.

Can an employer pay her employees like this? -

my sister works at an afterschool program in SC (anderson county, if it makes a difference). It s small and has maybe 10 employees. She has been working there since the beginning of the year. Her pay schedule is: she gets paid for 15 days of work every 30 days. for instance, the first 15 days she worked last month was on her paycheck at the end of that month. the next 15 days she worked last month were on her check at the end of this month. Almost a year of that pay schedule and she s VERY far behind on what she s supposed to be paid. her boss gave her a raise, but she couldn t afford to pay her for the full 15 days with the new raise. so she kept the hourly rate at the new rate, but only paid her for 12 days instead of the 15. She says she can t afford it because she s helping a few families by giving them free after school care. is this legal??? and if she were to quit, would her employer be held responsible for paying her all the back pay ?? and how long should my sister give the employer to pay it all back?? thanks!

What the employer is doing is violating SC daycare regulations on how long he/she can employ someone directly in the care of children without being certified.If she quits, she IS due the money, and if the employer doesnt want to pay, she can turn him/her into the SCDOL and dept of social service. They take this kind of violation VERY seriously.

Wow, that is garbage. Like everyone else answered, that is illegal! Your sister should get another job and demand her pay right now. And if her employer doesn t cough up the money immediately (give her a week, at the most), notify the authorities.Also, it doesn t matter if she s giving every person in the state free child care, your sister is due the money she is owed for working! Your sister s employer is a sleazeball and an idiot.
