What, legally, do I need to start a bakery? -

I have the experience, the place, the materials, etc. I m just lost as to how to go about getting started. I realize that there are permits, etc. required, but would appreciate any information you could offer as to what, specifically, that entails: what permit, license, etc. How much? What, in essence, is the process of applying, inspection, etc. to get started? Again, I can get the funds, etc. and don t plan to use any employees at first, so insurance, etc. isn t an issue either. Just looking for the legal aspect really. Thanks for your time and help.Kellykchristian811@yahoo.com

It depends on what city and county you are located in.You will probably need:1. Food Handler s Permit (you may have to take a class for this).2. Business License (inquire at your city administration office).3. Sales Tax Permit (if you are required to collect sales tax on what you sell). Also inquire at your city administration office.4. When you get employees, you will need to contact your State Employment agency and set up an account with them to report employees wages and pay state unemployment taxes. You will also need to do the same with the I.R.S. for federal unemployment taxes. That s about all I can think of. Good luck.

Why am i trying to save a domain name for 10 dollars on yahoo small business but it charges me 35 dollars? -

Hey, $35 is Yahoo s regular price. You need to go with http://www.IdomainU.com where $9.99 is the regular price for the very same domain name. And don t worry, it is fully loaded with features.

How do you purchase a vending machine? -

I was looking at vending machine retailers recently. I want to buy one for the student government at my school as a continual fundraiser. However, most of the vending machine retailers do not allow you to stock your own machine. Is there a way to buy an affordable machine that you can personally stock? (Also one with little maintenance required.)

I ve seen them in Sams Club. You best bet is to check something like this.. A Sam s club or Costco or some other large wholesaler.

They sell them at BJ s, where they also sell all the items you d need to stock one.

Do u know of any work from home jobs that really work? -

please help me

You need to send your resume out to real jobs you are qualified to do. In your cover letter you need to state that you wish to work remotely, from your home office. LOTS of companies, especially in CA operate this way. They usually provide transportation for you to come in for an interview and for you to attend company meetings a few times a year, but otherwise everything is done online.

What Business Degree would you need to start your own Business? -

Would you need a degree in Accountancy, Business Management or Business Administration? Which one.

You don t need a any degree to start your own business, all you need is a product or service you you can provide at a competitive price. If you go to a school like http://www.adelphi.edu and got your degree in business, you ll learn about how to deal with customers, employees, money, marketing etc etc. If I were you I would try to do both, because if you business fails then you need something to fall back on. Plus if your learning this stuff in the classroom and doing this stuff for work, it will make both easier. Good Luck

I m with Ryan, no college degree is necessary to start your own business. Of course, the basic background and knowledge of accounting, finance and marketing you d learn while taking courses may help over time, but you can pick up this information elsewhere and utilize other resources. If I were you, I would check out the Small Business Administration site, http://sba.gov They offer information and what steps are needed to starting your own business - you ll need to lay out a business plan and apply for a small business loan.I m not sure if you ve given any thought into what type of business you d like to open or even uniforms for your employees, but if you haven t, you should check out SharperUniforms.com. They have some really great fashionable, yet quality and durable uniforms at great prices. You can even have the uniforms embroidered with your company s name too. Of course, this may be ways in the future, but it s always nice to see what your options are and to start a list of related sites that pertain to running a successful business.http://www.sharperuniforms.com/Hope this helps and best of luck to you!

It would be helpful if you have a degree in business management, but there is no such requirement of any degree to start your own business. way I am very excited about my latest find that can provide assistance in running a business successfully. An awesome site for all those who are into one or the other business. Check out http://www.fintel.us/

although a degree is useful to start you own bussiness you certainly dont have to unless the bussiness your starting requires a degree( such as if you started your own personal training bussiness you would have to be certified for that ect.)

It s useful if you have them all but it is not required to start your own business. If you have a good idea and can put that idea on paper and present it to a loan officer at a bank then you are in business.

I would focus on marketing and sales. You can hire someone else to do practically anything like accounting, but only the owner can be a highly effective sales person for a small business.

You don t need ANY degree to start your own business. There is no such law or requirement in ANY jurisdiction to have a degree. Bill Gates DOES NOT have a degree!!!

Does anyone know of any good quot;work from homequot; jobs? -

I m not looking for data entry, or anything like that. But like a real job that people do everyday.

i do..... i ll email you about it..

I work from home doing legal transcription and I really enjoy it. I know that medical transcription is probably a bigger industry than legal, but check around. If you can type and you have an eye for detail, good grammar, etc., transcription might be a good option for you.
