ebay doesn t ship anything. They re an online auction site. You would have to ask the person you actually bought the item from about the shipping.
Sellers usually ship in a day or two after they receive payment. International shipments can take awhile, and regular mail can take awhile if you didn t pay for expedited shipping. The 14th is actually 9 days ago, not two weeks. If you are concerned, email the seller and ask if it has been shipped, when and how.
Depends on the seller. Some sellers are lousy. It should still be on the way. Just give the person a bad review.
uh yeah iit should have been here buy now!! good luck buddy!! you might wanna email or call them!!!
Whenever you start a business, it is a good idea to announce to your friends, family, co-workers and neighbors about your new business venture and ask them if they would like a catalog. You should also let them know that you would appreciate it if they would keep you mind if they are interested in having a party, ordering something and telling anyone they know who is looking for an Avon Rep.You could go door to door and let your neighbors know or just leave a catalog on their doorknob if that is allowed in your neighborhood. To build a customer base, make sure you have business cards with you at all times to give to people who ask What do you do? You don t need to buy loads of products, but you may want to gradually grow a small inventory of the most popular products to have on hand to show people. There are many other companies out there that use indpendent representatives/distributors/consultants Most have a lot fewer reps to compete against for business and a higher profit margin. Other companies may offer more training on marketing methods, too. Before you sign up I would suggest that you do some research and look around at several other opportunities to make sure there isn t something else out there that might be more profitable that you would enjoy.Whatever you decide to do, make sure you enjoy and use the products yourself. The discount you get as a rep will help your budget and you will find it easier to talk to people about the products if you are an enthusiastic user of them yourself.Good luck!
There are certain steps that you should follow.1. First thing you should have Good Selling Skills , i mean you should know how you can convince the people to buy products from you because this is the art that a sales person should have then he will be an Avon Representative.2. If you are planning to go in a party to sell something then you should have good collection of Goods as well as you should have products as per the party standard and the people that are present there.3. Catalog having is a kind of thing by which you can also sell online. Thanks
step 1: sell your soul to avonstep 2: alienate your friends and family by becoming the avon lady step 3: profitNo, I m just kidding around.. But seriously... Everything you said above is a reality. It all depends on what methods you wish to implement. Unfortunately, most people don t do their business right, which is what causes my three step process to occur. The best way, would be door to door, but not in your neighborhood - this way, it s strangers. Read some books on marketing, advertising, and sales. These will teach you more than you could learn in a 1000 years on your own.
you should talk to your contact but yea you will probably have to buy the inventory to show at parties at wholesale prices then find the people to sell to. mostly doing parties. the problem with independant sales is its not stable income. you may go weeks even months without a sale. im a firm beleiver in if you have to pay someone to sell their product stay away. who knows you may make a ton but again you may not. why dont you post a question on here and try to find others experiences selling avon. avon has been around a long time so im sure theres a market just not sure how much of that market you will/can realistically get.
to my knowledge, you can do whatever you want to do to sell their products. You probably have to buy some to show potential customers, then you can middle man for them. It s like, they give you a catalog and then you re on your own, if you can sell stuff, you might make a few bucks on the deal. That s it.
1. $20 to get started when you sign up online and that includes your start-up training kit. 2. As a new rep, you ll save 40% on all core items from the brochure. 3. Only $1 minimum order is needed to remain active. 4. No need to carry an inventory. 5. Take orders where, when and how you want. 6. Free shipping directly to you. 7. Great incentive programs, recognition and fun! 8. Too busy? You re the type of person we need. Simply hand out brochures to everyone you come into contact with. 9. Receive special preview books with additional savings for you. 10. Free online and personal training. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Hi!I m also a mom who has her own home business. I encourage you to find something that you re passionate about. If you love Avon, then go for it! It s important to truly believe in the company.Good luck! I hope it works out well for you.Lisa
Nothing else, but having the ability to persuade someone to buy the product in a people-person manner.
Hi XoI am an employer so here are some of the things I look for. I am guessing you are a young lady, if I ve got this wrong then sorry and ignore the bit about makeup. There are always a few things that you need to make sure when you apply for a job - firstly do you meet the criteria for the job. If you don t then decide if it is worth while applying? If you are close enough to the criteria then yes, if you are a long way off then no.If you go for interview check that you are dressed smartly, your hair is clean and tidy, you aren t wearing too much makeup (but don t wear none!), a bit of jewellery but not much, no obvious piercings apart from earrings or a simple stud. Think classic understated simplicity!Write your resume carefully and then prepare a handwritten covering letter applying for the job. Make sure they are well written - spell checked and also good and grammatically correct English. Make sure that you do some research on the business you are applying to. Read their website or their brochure. Work out several good questions to ask, maybe ask your friends and parents for ideas. If you haven t got any work experience yet - then get some! Find a charity or a business where you can work for nothing in exchange for experience! If nobody will give you experience then start your own business! Jonathan
the way the economy is right now when you apply for a job, a hundred other people are applying also. The lack of experience will hold you back and I know thats hard, I would suggest doing some charity work to build on your resume and just hang in there. It s not just you its happening to everyone right now.Good luck in your search!
Do you dress properly? Do you fill out the applications with proper spelling and grammar? If you fill them out like you stated your question I can see why you don t get called.YOU may think your resume is really good, but if you ve never had a job what do you need one for? There s no work experience to put on it!
For starters some places will take weeks to hire anyone. Also, if there is not a lot of jobs in the area sometimes places will try and give the position to people who they really feel need the job. Looking for jobs suck sometimes.
I will hire YOU
it may be they dont think your are professional or mature enough.why not ask them for feedback -
Are you ugly? if so then there s your problem
You could start a completely free home based online business.
You are not required to do anything except apply and get a business license and make sure to get business insurance. You can easily get a business license from your local county office. This structure of business is called Sole Proprietorship. Although, this is the most simple structure and very easy to form, this is not at all a recommended business structure. However, this helps individuals with very little money to start a business without having to worry about incurring expenses for the incorporation procedures.Next, when you have some funds available you should immediately consult an Accountant and incorporate. As a North Carolina CPA, I would recommend incorporating as an LLC.Good luck with your business venture. Let me know if I can be of any additional help.
make sure the name is not being used, look at getting insurance, make sure you have enough money to make it for at least 3 months by your self if you do not make any money at first , ie overhead , rent , etc
No, anyone can use it
I have a few hundred transactions on eBay as a buyer and as a seller. I have not had a single problem with not getting paid, or not getting what I paid for.PayPal never held my money, but I wouldn t worry if they did. It s been about two years since I sold anything, so maybe that s a new thing.
I always pay immediately with Paypal on ebay, and the sellers would not ship unless I paid. I am not sure what that 21 day hold period is all about. I thought the seller was paid instantly by Paypal? As a general rule, I would think you should get paid first before shipping an item. The buyer needs to have trust that you will send it.Maybe contact ebay or review the policy again. Good luck.
You must either be a new seller, sell in a fraud risk category, or have a low DSR to have PayPal hold your money for 21 days. Yes, I would ship the product, unless you expect the buyer to be dissatisfied.
NOO NEVEr because you can t trust anyone In this World!!
Well, only if the customer was my mother or my Aunt Gloria. I don t trust anybody else in monetary transactions.
do not ship anything unless you get your money sounds like a rip off to me.
Congress has passed legislature that allows banks to basically do whatever they want to us. They charge you for any little thing, got to get back all that money that they ve lost. Thru their greed, they lost money. Now they ve got to get us to pay it back.
No, this is not my account. I should charge my customers the extra six bucks for doing the work for a BoA customer. Report Abuse
Yeah unless you ahve an account with them most banks will charge you a small procesisng fee, its actually cheaper to go to walmart (they charge 3$ a check) if you don t have a bank account anywhere. If you have an account with them and they are still doing it I would suggest another bank
yes i am a teller at a community bank we charge for hardly anything the only thing that we require is that you are a customer so to answer your question yes they can and yes it is stupid i suggest to deposit your money then go to atm and draw it out .....no charge ..... unless they charge for that too however chosing another bank would be a good option as well
If you don t have an account with them then they can and will charge you to use their bank. They are there to service their account holders not every Tom, Dick and Harry that comes along and wants to cash a check.
Yes, it sucks but they can do it. Read your account agreement.
If this is your own account, why are they charging you?
yep they can unless you get an account with them; that is their leverage- not right but legal
Wow! that s a good business idea. And the fact that you re excellent at sewing. You can do a lot with that and make instant money easily. The best choice of site where you can start your business is in Etsy. You can sell your homemade Quilts and anything handmade at Etsy. Though there are some fees that you will have to pay in posting but its minimal compared to ebay. You could easily start and make a store there. I would suggest to make your handmade products unique and of course in excellent quality. take a photo of your items and upload it in etsy. Don t forget to advertise and join any forums related to your product line. Here s what you can do for your business plan (May vary):1. State Your Objectives.2. Describe the Business3. Hi Kate! Don t you want to try to work with me? I have in Russia a marriage agency, many British men are interested in finding wives here. If you find a man/men who are interested to come to Rostov, you will have good income. Think about it. If you get interested, write to my e-mail: russenigma@yahoo.co.uk
As far as suggesting items I m afraid I can t be much help. Us guys usually aren t into stuff like that. That could be a viable way to create income. They key is how well you market it though. That is the key. You could have the best products in the world, but if people don t know about them and where to buy them nothing else matters. Focus more on how you ll market the products and you can figure the rest out as you go along. Start out small though, don t have too many designs. Keep it simple and you can add more as you grow.
Be careful of those grants for businesses that are supposedly out there -- there s lots of SCAMsYou may also want to read the warnings FTC has issued against these grant companies:http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2004/03/grantresohttp://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumerHere is also one of the warnings issued by the Better Business Bureau http://www.concord.bbb.org/tips_timesharIt is hard to find grants to start a business. Unlike the myths that some perpetuate, federal government and even private foundations hardly give grant money for starting a for-profit business. One possible exception is for companies developing or exporting agricultural goods, including food and forest product. Another exception could be the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs http://www.sba.gov/aboutsba/sbaprograms/ , which fund the research and development of technological innovation that meets specific government needs.Your best bet actually will be from the states if they offer grant programs for women (or any other special interest groups -- minorities, women, disabled, veterans, etc). Or check with non profit organizations, particularly women organizations if they offer grants. Examples includeIowa Women s Foundation http://www.iawf.org/New Mexico Women s Foundation http://www.nmwf.org/guidelines.htmlEven SBA does NOT give out grants. From the SBA website http://www.sba.gov/mostrequesteditems/CO The U.S. Small Business Administration does not offer grants to start or expand small businesses, although it does offer a wide variety of loan programs. (See http://www.sba.gov/financing for more information) While SBA does offer some grant programs, these are generally designed to expand and enhance organizations that provide small business management, technical, or financial assistance. These grants generally support non-profit organizations, intermediary lending institutions, and state and local governments. Nonetheless, you can go to the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) http://www.cfda.gov and Grants.gov http://www.grants.gov - these are two sites created by the federal government to provide transparency and information on grants. Browse through the listings and see if you can find any grant that would support a for-profit venture.
Don t bother as there are no grants for a small business. You should contact your local SBA office about SBA guaranteed loans.
You ll have to choose one or the other. Your dad works full time, doesn t he? So if you took over his business, you d have to work full time at it as well. You can t do two full-time jobs, especially when one is as mentally and physically demanding as being a police officer.Go to school and at least start on earning your degree. While you re there, think long and hard about which career will make you happier.
MartinIn small towns you can keep both if you don t have alot of working hours in the week. In big cities they will say you have conflicts of interest..you will have busy schedules flexible time table you will need to work night or day shifts. as you get older as a police man you will have more choices and you can work at the truck more like running a hobby on the side. Try to be a traffic police officer, your knowledge of trucks would be useful to the police you could keep both running if they don t interfere with each other.
Martin, that depends on many factors. How much time you will have; how much energy you have.Either career depends a lot of time and attention. If you don t have to make a decision now, don t.Wait until you re ready.Good Luck.
