Are Billboards for small law firms/small businesses worth spending the money? -

Billboards are expensive. Has anyone rented a billboard for a small law firm, or some other type of small business? Was it worth spending that much money on it?

Hi Luke,I will try to answer your question rather than try to sell you something. Above the line advertising does work and is really good for branding. If you get a good advert, an eye catching one in a good location where people see it, (think traffic jams) then it does get you noticed.Will it drive lots of business your way? Unlikely as people don t really jot phone numbers down from these or remember email addresses. Law firms are something you only need now and then so there would not be instant buys, but at least they know a name. Personally I would only recommend billboards for brand awareness in the type of industry that you are in.They are expensive alright but over a period of time they do get a brand message out there. If you are in it for the long term, then probably worth pursuing, but if it is just to boost short term sales, then I would think carefully.The only other way it might work was if you were to maybe advertise something like Get a free will made today, limited period only. Something like that might drive traffic to you and you could possibly upsell.Hope this helps

How do you figure your taxes for your home daycare business? -

I am starting my home daycare business and dont want to get into any legal trouble. i know there is a self employment tax due 4 times a year (social security and medicare) income tax due at end of the year what other taxes are therehow do you know what to set aside for taxes? do you get somewhere like h R Block to do your taxes for you?someone told me to just set aside 25% of my total income and that would be plenty to set aside. do you find that to be true I am in texas if that helpsalso what items do you get tax exempt on and if you filled out a tax exempt form and didnt pay taxes for a certain item doyou still need to claim that receipt at the end of the year? You HIRE someone to do your taxes for the first year--you will be claiming use of home and depreciation and these must be set up correctly.4. 25% probably is NOT enough for taxes. Your net earnings are taxed at 15.3% for self-employment tax and then taxed again as income tax. Income tax has tax brackets from 0,10,15,25,28 and so on.

I m not having any luck...getting 0 results found for everything. I tried searching in Google Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer with the same. It s 5pm mountain time and it s been like this since noon. There search engine is obviously down. This is pretty lame failure on eBay s part, because today is the first time I ve logged on to eBay in over a year.

I agree with Ken. If they are having problems, then own up to them. Instead we are all here trying to find out from our peers. What a joke. Maybe Craigslist needs to step up. I now realize how much ebay has monopolized this type of shopping. Still no search engine on my ebay.

Yeah im having the same problem, they must have changed something, it doesnt work at all in firefox and google chrome, and in IE i get no results returned. Ebay has messed up big time.
