I am going to the flea market to sell stuff. I need to know what is the most popular item mexicans like... there is mostly mexicans there. I have purses and jewelry, but I want to know something that will sell good.

They are there to buy items just like everyone else, so anything you have will do ok. You will see more Mexicans at flea mkts.,because they use that as a gathering place for most of their friends and family so they can communicate with each other about prospective buys. They shop just like the rest of us(looking for bargains) enjoy the day and see you re self making lots of sales and let the customers see you re smiling face.

How did you set up your company? -

I am curious to hear from people who have set up a company from nothing.I am looking to do the same but I am very daunted by the prospect of giving up a permanent job that does pay for the home for me and my family. (Only just)I think I could offer a lot in the industry but wanted to know how people got through the first few months of setting up their own business. Thanks

here is a good company to talk to IntegrityBusiness www.integrafirst.web.officelive.com! its a great site look at it and tell a friend!

I can t tell you first hand the details of setting up your own business, but I know there are many resourceful forums and blogs to offer suggestions, support and tips thinking of doing just that. Starting up a business from scratch, does require time and money, so unless you ve got the capital it could be a true struggle at first. I m sure it s a struggle weighing the options of leaving your current job to start your own.Anyways, if you do decide to move forward with starting up your own business, I m not sure if you ve considered an online store or an actual brick and mortar storefront but a close friend of mine has been working on opening his own retail store and I ve been trying to help him as much as possible. We ve been researching equipment needed to keep track of inventory, products sold, all the point of purchase equipment and software and happened to come across this site, L-TronDirect.com He recently ordered a few hand-held barcode scanners and this company provided him with instructions and guidance on the function of the scanner and all its capabilities. You may want to bookmark this site and keep them in mind if you end up starting your own business.http://www.l-trondirect.com/Best wishes to you and hope this helps you!

How to present my business idea to my friend and make him a partner? -

I have a great business idea and I really want him to be my partner..cuz he s very smart and I really don t want to go thought it aloneso how to best present it?

Before you even present it you better know how to set up a partnership and all the risks of it. Research as much as you can on the negatives and positives of a partnership. In the end, unless it can somehow work between you two, my teachers have told me to avoid partnership s like the plague. They are that bad. You would need to have a good lawyer to set up a partnership agreement and you need an EXTREMELY GOOD LAWYER AND LOTS OF INSURANCE in case something goes wrong. Just because he s smart doesn t mean anything really. He has to be business smart and know how to handle money and all that more difficult stuff than just one s personal finance. And as my teachers have said, sometimes you don t know your friends as well as you think you do Especially when you get into money. I d recommend you do it alone, it is the best way. If you can t do it alone, then you are not ready to be an entreprenuer. You need to do things yourself. I m not saying you can t have help, but sometimes its best. If it is any food business make sure you turn it into a corporation. That way you are more protected. If you want to go through with it you may want to consider becoming a limited liability partnershiop.Do check www.sba.gov for more information though.

Before you do anything, go out to this small business website and write a business plan. The site helps you THINK through your idea and helps you decide if indeed you have a viable business idea. It will help you write a business plan as well. Once you have done your homework, which everyone needs to do before throwing money at it, then present the idea to your friend. You ll also be ready to go to the bank for your bank loan! Good luck. Preparation is everything!http://www.sba.gov/smallbusinessplanner/

The best thing you can do is just be honest and let him know that you want to talk to him and get his input and possibly have him join you.

Is this something to trust in? (Link below)? -

Can I trust that this is a legit site that actually stands for it s statements?I ve checked around and it sounds legit and the videos sound amazingly nice.http://marsonworks.com/maverick

It s an MLM scam that works only by attracting ever more new members , basically a Ponzi--type scheme. You can do ALL that automated on-line business! completely on your own without paying someone else to set it all up for you, and then you keep ALL the profit...doesn t that sound better?

Hi all. Im 22 and I would like to start my own business. Maybe selling on ebay or my own website. Any advice? -

I m looking for how tos...success stories...critical criticism..basically anything...I m all ears. :-)

To me, it sounds like you aren t sure what you want to do just yet. Are you passionate about shoes? What are you passionate about? If these are questions are cannot answer yourself, my advice is to speak with a wealth building consultant. They can help you find your passion, and a direction. Most wealth building consultants can also provide you detailed business solutions once you have your passion, to make starting your business a breeze. If you d like to speak to me about this more feel free to email me at dgiardino@webmonkeymedia.com.

The market seems flooded with people hoping to make big bucks on eBay, so competition is going to be tough. If you find the right products to sell, and can market them well, you can make some money-just don t expect to make a huge profit.Your own website might work better, provided you can get people to notice your site. Figure out how to do that and you can forget selling the products; selling your secret to others will get you more money.

Do you want to sell a Premium Quality product and keep 100% of the profits ? Go to www.elitesoftware.ws, scroll down to the end of the page and click on the picture that says, Software, and it will lead you to the information page. You will discover a great opportunity to make money. You will need a strong commitment to yourself (to your success) but if you are determined, you will generate a Lucrative Income from home. Success awaits you, George

Hag,How about affiliate marketing? That means you can sell anything. You dont have to inventory it, prebuy it, ship it or handle the product in any way.You just choose items you think are interesting and lead people to them.To do this, you must have your own hosted website. it will cost about $40. for a year. This gives you all the tools you need.To get your products, apply to www.cj.com, www.clickbank.com, and www.shareasale.comThis will give you lots of products and services you can sell. You will need your own website to promote these items.Good Luck

Kill the shoe idea, unless you really don t want to make money just looking for experience in customer service. Here is your future of you do not.............1. To carry a single shoe style you need sizes and colors. So lets say you buy a black pump in a size 5, then 5.5. 6. 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8 and now you buy 1 pair of each in the red and one in the white. So far you have bought 21 pairs of shoes and you only have one style to put on your web site. Since you only have 1 black in a size 5, what if you sell another? Now you have to buy multiple of the same sizes/colors so you have bought 42 pairs of shoes, but still only have 1 style on your site.Oh not a problem cuz you can get them one pair at a time? Ok well it gets worse... I buy a pair from you for my friends wedding. I am never gonna wear these again, so after I wear them, I return them get my money back? Oh these do not look like the picture on your site. After seeing them, they look cheap, I want a refund. I wear a size 12 but a 12 does not fit me in your shoes. As you can see there are a million reasons on why people will want a refund. Before you do anything else, think of products that have a very low return/exchange rate, then come back be all ears again. You will kill yourself with CS duties, dead overhead, and a million other things if you do not.

Research, research, research.Identify your competitors, make sure your shoes are better quality, more fashionable and a good price particularly when you are just starting out.Think of at least seven reasons why a customer might buy from your store/site, i.e. free delivery, free gift wrapping, free shoe size gauge with every order.....Best selling headlines :TRY, FREE, BEST, SPEEDY, LATEST, VALUE, QUALITYDon t forget to plan for the next sale. Pop in a discount coupon for the next purchase, get your customers to buy again, say, within 6 weeks.Team up with another successful web trader to help promote your shoes to his customers, i.e. speak to a lingerie business or fashion house....

Personal or business investment of buying boat for boat restaurant? -

Looking into buying a liveaboard and having bar/restaurant on board. Can we legally purchase personally and lease to the business/restaurant or do we need to buy as a capital investment from the business?

Can you afford to keep on the boat if your business isn t a success? Where would you live if you bought the bought as a company and rented it to yourself and the company failed? There are tax allowances for capital investments that may be worth considering. It depends on how much of a profit you expect to make whether it would be to your advantage or not.Speak to your local Business Link for free help and advice on starting your business. They may be able to refer you to an accountant who will give you a free half hour or hour of advice to help you decide which is the better option.Good luck with your business!

Yes, it is legal to do it either way. I would buy it personally and lease it to the business.

Can a small business be started in small amount of 20k? -

Do let me know abt a business which can be started and progressed in a small amount of 20 k.i am a graduate in buss. mgmt..

First of all : It depend on many criteria s and things plus the most important thing (LUCK) ..1- What are your experiences ??.. do you have any kind of experience with any kind of job/ careers/ business ?? 2- What is your passion ?? (Yes it is important), at least you will actually love what you will do plus you will learn it and know about it easily and faster ..3- Investment now is a very hard decision.. Recession everywhere.. and alot of business closes and it is a real tough decision to open or start any business now.. Now practically ..4- 15 thousand is huge amount of money for small business .. (Never listen to all those who keep talking big about business and money needed (Most of really big guys started with amount less than that ..)..5- Don t think about anything big.. just think about something with wholesale (Less amount price you invest in ) .. like $1.00 average per piece (yes there is plenty).. 6- and it have to get 200-300% profitability at least .. Idea s ... cell phone accessories, women fashion accessories and jewelleries (I talk about cheap and affordable stuff).. Handbags and purses, sunglasses, etc.... All of those you can get a small kiosk in your mall or a high traffic area .. for less than $1000 rent.. So you still have $14000 left.. and your merchandise shouldn t exceed $5000.. so you will have about $8000-9000 as backup.... i m talking reality.. but first of all you have to think, and study your area/ town/ city as well for those stuff (and other stuff i didn t mention).. My advice go to your mall or the highest traffic area s in your city and start studying the customer s base.. and see for your self.. and never try to take any step now.. all rents now are much high and you will not have enough time to decide what is right for you..Good luck.. and keep it up..Source(s):Life .. degree, and business owner..

The amount of money you have is not that important but these rules below are. Follow them closely and you will succeed. After years of trying and always wanting to find and grow a successful business, the so called secrets to success are so simple as to be embarrassing when you write them down. Anyway I am way past the stage of being embarrassed so here are my rules for running a successful business.Rule Number 1Is there a market for what you are proposing to sell?Don t listen to friends or family, they will generally agree with you out of politeness. Do some research on the streets, at work, at clubs, social events. In your specific case I would talk to sporting clubs and try to find out where they buy their stuff now?Talk to at least 500 people and more if you can. Don t ask them would they like to see a store or have a store like you suggest. Ask them this one important question? If there was a store, would you be be prepared to buy something? When you have finished this survey, you will know if there really is a market. Please interpret the research honestly and don t pretend to yourself there is a market when none actually exists. For example if they are currently buying say on eBay at cheap prices, how will you compete with that?Be very honest at this stage, it will save you a fortune.Rule Number 2Work out your overheads - ALL of them and don t try cutting corners. Lease of the shop, rates, taxes, lighting, heating, air conditioning, stock, staff, theft, security, your wages, advertising, time spent with suppliers, payment terms with suppliers, travel, expenses, overdrafts, loans, personal equity and there are more.Work them all out and don t compromise because costs NEVER go away.Rule Number 3Simple as this may seem revenue less costs is profit. Revenue in truth is meaningless or as they say revenue for show profit for sanity. It doesn t matter how much you turnover if it doesn t cover your costs. Work out your break even point. It s easy to do.Buy a football top at $30 Sell a football top at $50. You make $20. How many of those do you have to sell to cover your costs of say $0.2m dollars a year? 10,000 is a lot of tops so can you shift 200 of those a week?I know it is more complicated than that but you have to work out what the cost price and the retail price is for your line of products, and then do a forecast as to what sales you think you need to do. That will get you a break even point, and anything over that is profit. If so how much would they be prepared to spend a year on goods like this?Rule Number 4Do a proper business plan which is the most annoying thing in the world to do. In fact it s a pain in the rear but without something written down you won t ever know the truth. In Ireland where I live 3 out of every 4 start up business fails for this very reason. No research, no business plan and no planning.Follow these 4 rules and be honest with yourself. Rule 1 covers the market and the competition, rule 2 deals with the bit no-one really works through in detail. Rule 3 is find your break even point and Rule 4 applies only if you have done everything before it.If you do and things look negative stop it right there and kill the idea stone dead.If on the other hand it looks good, in other words there is a market, there is competition but you can compete, you know and understand your costs, you have your break even point, done a business plan and then done your planning, good luck and really go for it.Best single tip, start with the end in mind!

How much money would I initially need to open a small fashion retail store? -

??

depends on where you live, the cost of licenses, and the cost of place your going to sell out of, not to mention the initial cost of your merchandise. for example if you rent space in a mall or a street front store will you be required to pay rent, utilities and whatever decorating or fixtures your going to need.if your on the main drag the cost would be higher than if your on a hard to find dead end street.are you making any of the clothes yourself or buying wholesale?use this calculatorhttp://retail.about.com/library/bl_start

Your first stop should be visiting The Small Business Administration (http://www.sba.gov/). This site will be your go-to site for understanding what is needed to start your own business. They provide instructions, guidelines and resources to get your business up and running.I know the thought of opening up a fashion retail store may be in its very early stages, but you may want to check out or bookmark this site, http://www.l-trondirect.com/ once you get it up and running. My friend recently opened up a small retail store in town and he was looking for barcode scanners to track his inventory and purchasing point-of-purchase equipment, like those electronic signature pads you find at many stores near the checkout. This site was a huge help when it came to equipping the store to manage the product sold, capturing payment methods of his customers and whatnot. You may find this site useful in time.Best of luck to you!

Check out Entrepreneurs Small Business Magazine. They have start up business manuals and may have one for fashion retail. The books tell you everything you need to know. Before you buy one, visit the local library because they may have one you can sample.
