What is the best place to get business cards printed up? -

I want to get some business cards printed up, but I don t want to get robbed paying for them. Is Staples a good place? Because I have a Staples near my house.

Reduced Printing can give you 500 free full color business cards on thick paper - all you pay for is the shipping

There are good deals online. I recently printed from 123print.com and they were just ok, i thought the printing looked a little streaky. But I had postcards printed from Vistaprint.com and they were excellent and they have good deals so I would recommend them! You can use one of their designs or upload your own.

Use a good local shop if you can. Don t skimp-these cards represent your business.

Vista print on lineI got my cards from there and I LOVE them! Cheap too!www.Vistaprint.com

How to ship a flat screen TV selling on Ebay? -

I want to sell my 32 inch flat screen TV on Ebay, how do I ship it? How do I get a box for it, I have the original box, but I probably cant ship it in the original box or can I?

I would use the orginal box with 2 squares of cardboard taped over the screen for extra protection.

I would not even bother trying to ship a flat screen TV. What I suggest is to put your item on Craigs List and try to sell it to someone in your area, so they can come and pick the item up. Hey Craig Lists always work for me when I m selling home merchandise. If you go with Craigs list please make sure you tell the person cash only, hey there are a lot of scams out there.Good Luck to you!

you probally can you can take to a UPS store (or fedex office) and they could pack it for younote they will have a fee for doing so but it will be safe that wayjust be sure to insure it

you can ship it in the original box, make sure you have alot of protection with it, such as packing peanuts

Trademarks and how they work? -

Can someone give me information about trademarks and how they work?

Trademarks can be names of products or services, logos, slogans, packaging and even sounds and smells. In essence, a trademark can be almost anything that is used to identify a particular product or service. Registering a trademark grants the owner exclusive rights to the mark within the specified industry. Of course, it s necessary to research the mark comprehensively prior to filing to ensure that there is no possibility of infringing upon another party. This entails searching the pending registered Federal and State trademark files as well as the US National Common-Law files. Then, if clear, you can decide if you would like to file for a Federal or a State trademark. To register a trademark, that s done either through your Secretary of State for a State trademark or the US Patent Trademark Office for a Federal trademark. If you are only conducting business in one state, then a State trademark is most appropriate. If you conduct (OR are planning to conduct) business in at least 2 states OR between the US any other country, you can file for a Federal trademark.Hope that helps! I wish you much success happiness in all your ventures!

How do you ask a competitor to leave your booth while at a trade show.? -

I was at an event that was poorly planned and with minimal publicity. To make matters worse, a competitor was placed next to me. He looked at my display and said he was going to steal the idea. The day went downhill from there. He spent more time at my booth than his own; asking very detailed questions about sources, techniques, packaging, etc. He was a tremendous bore and would not take a hint. I didn t confront him because it was an all day event and he was sitting six feet away. At the end of the day, I nearly snapped his fingers in a display case as he wouldn t stay out of my booth while I was trying to pack. He was that annoying. My question is, how does one say leave my booth, stop touching my merchandise and there s not a chance in !@#4 that I will ever give you any information! In a civilized way of course. The organizers were no help at all and I have no intention of returning to next year s event. I ask because there are a lot of competitors visiting my booths with the intent of copying my work or obtaining sourcing info. Thanks!

In a public trade event, there is little you can do except to make sure he does not steal something. He, as a member of the event, is entitled to enter your booth space and take brochures, even photographs. The best you can do is to follow him closely so that he is certain you or someone else is closely watching him. Then you do the same thing to him. You can actually become quite a nuisance to him if you want to - although that is not very professional.I have seen things like a guy intentionally knocking over a stand of brochures, forcing the staff to clean up. Sometimes they just come alongside a display and pull out a wire, or sabotage the machine in some way. very unethical.I think you made the correct decision to stay away from future shows. A good show planner would NEVER put competitors alongside each other. that is simply not good planning.
