EBay - Buyer didnt receive item - what now? -

I sold an item for 24 over Ebay and sent it on 18/11/2009 by recorded 1st class delivery. The buyer contacted me saying they ve not received the item, I ve tracked the item through the royal mail website and it says the item is working through the royal mail network. What do I do now? I realize I have to wait 15 working days before I can make a claim for the value of the item back.Do I refund the seller when I get my refund, how do I proceed.I still have the receipt of postage! The item was being sent to London which I hear has a huge back log of parcels from the strikes!thanks

no, wait for th epost to deliver it.if it s registered, it will more than likely get thru. if it doesn t, then you have a claim and you can refund him once it is clear this is what happpend, which will be clear when the post refunds you...as for now, it hasn t been 15 business days, not by a long shot.however, in good conscience to your buyer, i would communicate all along the way and even include the tracking info so they can verify what you say.

Talk to the buyer, explaining the item may be delayed due to recent industrial action.Sometimes parcels do take a long time to arrive - they should have had it by now though. Explain to the buyer and if it never turns up you will go into dispute. Ebay has a good procedure for this and as you sent it recorded, you can prove Royal Mail is to blame. Ultimately, the buyer will have to contact Royal Mail- but try to help as much as possible!

Can you tell me a little about SAP Business One? -

My company is switching to this system, and I don t know anything about it.

The SAP Business One application integrates all core business functions across your entire company C including financials, sales, customer relationship management, inventory, and operations. Unlike many other small business solutions on the market today, SAP Business One is a single application, eliminating the need for separate installations and complex integration of multiple modules.SAP is the largest ERP (enterprise resource planning) package in the market place. The project will be long, stressful, and there will be problems and lots of over time. Example of a SAP project gone really really bad would be the Hershey SAP project, it caused a major miss in shipping their products for the 1999 Halloween season. Most projects work out but there will be growing pains with any new major system.Learn all you can, this will be a major resume plus for you as just about all major company s use SAP.Who is doing the implementation???

I agree--thanks for a great answer! Report Abuse

Business Idea for the downtown street? -

1500 sq ft in space right in the downtown , what kind of business would u recommend ??? the rent cost 1800 $ plus heat . any ideas ????

If it s right downtown then a deli always makes money. Otherwise you ll just have to figure out what you want to sell and see if it fits in with the other businesses on the street. If you haven t gotten it yet be sure to check with local businesses right close to see how they do on their net profit and what their rent is. That sounds really steep if you re in a small town.
