Have at least one independent party witness your notebook entries with their signature and date.When you are ready to file a patent application, hiring a patent attorney is probably your best bet. But, if you don t have the money, you may want to file a provisional patent application with the U.S. Patent Trademark Office (www.uspto.gov). The provisional application fee is only around $100. The provisional application will give you 1 year before you need to file a full application. So, it doesn t replace the application, just delays the expense of a full application. If you can afford it, it would be best to use a patent attorney. You can do it yourself but it is important that you prepare the application in the proper way and with good attention to detail. There are many books on the process. You need to find a niche, something to specialise in selling, you don t need to buy in bulk as this would mean a large investment in stock. I would compare the prices on ebay, look at popular items and see if you can find a shop or website that sells them cheaper. You can start selling like this. Put 6 + items of clothing together for a clothing lot, look out for toy cars, models, pottery, glass and unusual items at car boot sales etc especially those with markings.

Instead of using a flat right, I will charge by ink coverage on the paper. With the direct method of preparing a statement of cash flow you show gross changes in receipts and payments. WIth indirect method you beging with net income and then list cash provided or used in operating, investing and financing activities. I prefer the indirect method.
