TYpe of small business to open? -

I live in a city of about 18,000 people. I am interested in opening a business. Any thoughts on a type? My family and friends have recommended restuarants, ice cream palors, clothing, etc. Restuarants have alot of health and liabilities issues. What type of restuarant doesn t require kitchen hoods and grease traps?

At that step if you want to get funding to start and don t want to use your own capitol You would need to start building Strong Business credit. Open a supplies store.When you find out what business goes on in that city (e.g farming. then sell farming supplies/tools) You can never miss this way.It will be something they need all the time and after they all come to know you better,then you can venture to these other businesses like you mention.Don t forget to give the most efficient service that you can possibly give all the time.This will ensure a more permanent and long lasting customer base.Good luck...

It s not very easy to command it clearly! you need to attache importance to the navigate,the catagories of the products.and help down in the main page! The only way that I see you getting a babysitting job is by attending Red Cross babysitting class and getting certified. This will show that you are sincere and you have received proper training. Contact your closest Red Cross and they will be able to provide you with a training schedule. Contact 3 local day care centers. Ask their hourly or daily rate for the age groups that you ll be babysitting. If you get a daycare license, you can charge dollar for dollar. If unlicensed, you will need to charge a dollar less per hour. I strongly suggest a business license when babysitting, even if a teenager. So that you can claim all expenses related to babysitting, such as snacks, toys, rewards, games, etc. Also, this will allow the parents to claim the daycare expenses for tax purposes, and it won t simply be money lost to babysitting fee s.

I want to start an internet cafe in Davao Philippines, Do you think it is good Business? Will it make money? When i was there it seems these places was always pack? But then again There are so many. Some places charge 25p or more but i also saw places that charge 10p. What do you think?

Internet Cafes is usually a good start-up business if you know a lot about computers in general and if you have a very good location to build it. I m saying this because internet cafes don t require a lot of investments, and a lot of people who were tempted to enter this business usually didn t even know anything about computers. They just hire a techie guy and depend on him for everything... (this poses a problem if your techie guy cannot be trusted). You have to have a good location, a place where internet cafes are not saturated. Some business owners place it near schools, but as you might expect this may already be a saturated market. I would suggest a place where there is a junction of 2 or more brangays if possible. A cross street perhaps where it is easily accessible.The thing to remember and consider is, only a limited number of internet cafes (around two to three) can be supported by a community with small population. so consider how many internet cafes are near you. if none your e lucky!
