I would like to start a payroll company. Can anybody tell me what I need to do to get off the ground? -

If someone can tell me a website or give me some info on what to do, since I really don t know anything on this subject. Thanx

First you start with a major maker Computer and payroll software package. Then you must purchase forms to fill out to service the employers and the government. You must provide a one million dollar bond and get a business license and get a DBA. Then you hire salespeople to canvass different businesses in order to get their payroll accounts.

How to wright a modeling contract? -

What needs to be included? P.s. this is a contract between model and company, not photography.

It s not that simple - most modeling contracts are 7-10 pages long. Are you acting as employer or just an employment agent? How long are the terms of the contract? What sort of exclusivity clause do you have? Do you have a non-compete clause to prevent a model from going to a competitive agency? What is your commission structure? What are the ways either the agency or the model can cancel the contract before the expiration date? What sort of liability do you have? What sort of confidentiality agreeement do you require? etc, etcYou really need to seek the advice of an experienced contract lawyer. You don t want to try to do this on your own as it can be very complicated. Here is one sample contract http://www.modelresource.ca/Model101/Age but because laws regulating modeling agencies vary from state to state, seek legal advice before you do anything on your own.

Does anyone make money off ebay? -

if so is it worth starting a shop on ebay, what items should i sell? and how much could i potentially make? 500 per week?

Does anybody make money off eBay? Sure, it s done every day. However, if you are going to consistently make money on ebay you have to treat it like a real business. You want your products to be something that you are enjoy or are at least interested in and you want to know a good bit about it, After all, you ll probably be spending a good bit of time dealing with them.I think the problem that most people run into with eBay is that they don t treat it like a business. Sure, you can be a casual seller and make a little money but if you re looking to bring in $500 per week, it s going to take some work. You ll need to do some market research on what you want to sell, find suppliers, evaluate and then continuously re-evaluate the market, price your product considering ALL of the expenses which include eBay and PayPal fees, advertise (ie post the items, build your eBay store), fill the orders, ship the items, collect payment, deal with unhappy customers....all of the same things that regular stores do. The advantage is that you can do it from the convenience of your own home with as little or as much effort you want to put into it.As an example, my sister in law had an eBay business that started out selling those glass friendship balls. It was just something she liked and thought she could make a little money from home. To make a long story short, she grew her business into a very significant income. However, she treated it like a business. She worked at least 4 hours every day, she did research, met with suppliers, took a glass blowing class, expanded her market with different products, etc. It was a job and she made very good money doing it but she enjoyed it since it gave her lots of freedom and it was something she liked.Good luck.

Actually, there are many who make their livings off ebay. The company I work with sells exotic cars on ebay and has made tens of thousands of dollars at it.You have to have good products that people want to buy and have a good markup. Either you need a very good markup, or you need to sell a lot of products. If you re a manufacturer, it can be a very nice supplementary income. One good way is to find something that is produced very cheaply in China that sells in the US for quite a bit more money. This is what walmart does.It really helps to speak chineese, and to know someone over there you can trust. The great part about ebay is that if people are looking for your product, millions can see it, and you can sell large quantities. There are lots of resources about selling on eBay, and some of them are even true.Good luck!

nobody makes anything off ebay any more except ebay and pay pal which are one in the same. They have raised the sellers cost too high for the little sellers and they don t seem to care that there losing a lot of the small sellers.

Ask General Motors or (Government Motors) how difficult it is to sell on eBay. lol ;-)

What all do i need to start a retail business? -

I don t really have any business experience. I already have a location picked out. I have my ein number. I m gonna apply for my business licensce tomorrow if there open. I already ordered cash register software for a pc which also works with quick books and makes it easier to file taxes. I already have all the hardware like credit card reader, receit printer, cash drawaer. I already know what i m gonna sell. I have merchandise. It s just gonna be me and my mom running the store for now. What all or what else do i need to open a store?

Don t listen to this lot you just need buying customers! Keep your prices LOW and work on turnover. No point in sitting on the stuff.take care!

while all the physical items people mentioned are important, the most important thing you could possibly come up with is a marketing plan. this will give you some guidance, and save you a lot of grief down the road. while some of these things may seem obvious, i HIGHLY recommend you write it all out since it will allow you to evaluate your marketing situation as a while. 3 in 4 retail ventures fail, so make sure you are prepared!http://www.canadabusiness.ca/eng/guide/2533/

1) you need a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)2) if you have a made up name for the business, you need to file a DBA (Doing Business As....) - your CPA can tell you how to do this3) you need a GREAT marketing plan4) you need at least 5 years of business expenses ,in cash, in the bankBest wishes and good luck.

You are going to need shelves, chairs, desks, things of that sort. Possibly an alarm system, a sign, a logo, and business cards. That is just a quick list, there are surely more things. The type of business makes a difference in the accouterments you need.
