How can a thirteen year old start a landscaping business? -

I am thirteen years old who lives in the inner city of Philadelphia, and I want to start a landscaping business such as shoveling snow, mowing lawns, raking leaves, and all that other stuff. I want to get my information out there. Can someone please help me?

start asking neighbors and friends family to cut there grass ect. when you get paid do not spend it!, save it until you have enough to expand, this may take years but if you really want to do this,, ull stick with it!good luck

Need out of 50% business I own.? -

My partner and I own 50% each of a residential care facility. I want out but he is making difficult by not making any offers and delaying time. We own 50% of home and 50% of Corporation. I live in california if that helps. To avoid legal fees what would be my options? Can I dissolve the business and get 50% of my equity. What are my rights?thanks emilio

You need to go to MEDIATION -- which involves a third party to help resolve the matter.ORYou need to go to ARBITRATION -- which involves a third party with court judge like authority that legally binds the final decision between two parties.AVOID COURT!!! These are much more expensive than mediation or arbitration. Also as a partner, unfortunately you are stuck with this person until either mediation or arbitration occurs. Partnerships are difficult legally in this way. If one messes up, the other is bound to the result. Hope this helps!!! :)

Starting a cleaning business and have a question about hiring a part-time employee? -

Ok, so a buddy of mine and I are thinking of putting together a General PArtnership or an LLC to begin a cleaning business. In any case, we would want someone eventually to be doing the majority of the cleaning work while we manage the overall business growth etc. This at first especially will be very much part time work. So how do we hire someone without having to worry about paying benefits, or being responsible for workers compensation etc..? Is this possible? it had got to be. Especially if the person is working only a part-time. I know there is the whole employee vs independent contractor things as well..not sure how that plays into this. BAsically I am looking for the easiest, and cheapest way to hire a part time worker to help us out.

don t bother with an LLC, too much money and too much bother for no bigger than you are or will beif you want to do it correctly you would pay him wages, thereby getting an EIN # and filing your taxes properlyor as most housecleaning and landscape maintenance do, everyone working is an independent contractoras such they also file their own Sch c and Sch SE(pay their own self employment tax, approx 15.3% of the net ) and their own income tax depending on how much this 1099 affects the rest of their tax return

Can an employer add more work to your workload without increasing pay rates? -

absolutely.

YES.

Is this a real question? Of course they can!
