you could contact your local SCORE office. they are retired business owners and they can help you start your business. it is all free and they are non-profit. if you go to the website and type in your city, they should have workshops for around $10, such as starting a business, creating a business plan, etc. this should help point you in the right direction. they also have resources on their website to create business plans etc without having to go to their class.

You need to send your resume out to real jobs you are qualified to do. In your cover letter you need to state that you wish to work remotely, from your home office. LOTS of companies, especially in CA operate this way. They usually provide transportation for you to come in for an interview and for you to attend company meetings a few times a year, but otherwise everything is done online.

Thousands (maybe high hundreds) of names later I had I think three names- I checked the BBB and found that one had awards. Is laptopsgoingcheap.com a legitimate company? Too good to be true? -

I stumbled upon a too good to be true laptop computer sale through http://www.google.com/products. I searched for the HP dv7-2180us and found that laptopsgoingcheap.com is selling them for $620.00 which is about half of the other retailers. The sites appears to have spawned from the UK (which isn t a good sign so far). I won t buy from them without any prior experience or some type of feedback so if you ve already been burned, post your response here. If you haven t already ordered, I don t recommend it at all at this point. The site advertises a 7-day return policy...wierder already. I want to know the same thing, I just ordered from them and they said the credit card system was broke..They gave me the option of paying with money order or signing onto yahoo messenger to talk to a representative about how to pay with the credit card which would probably involve giving them my card number, so I m sayying EFF that.They had a really good deal for a Acer Aspire 1410 though :( 285$!!I m not going to trust it. I told them to let me pay with paypal, or nothing. They said they only accept paypal if you ordered more than 3 units. I replied saying make an exception or I m on the road.We ll see what they say. Lol. I wouldn t trust it though.

I believe I have heard about this before..on Dateline. It s a scam. I wouldn t get involved with it if I were you.

Definitely run away from this!! It s downright scary how this scam has affected people, there have been TV shows about it.Think about it, who s going to mail you money upfront to do their shopping when they have no idea who you are or if there is any security clearance? Any shopping for electronics can be done online by this person and shipped wherever. It s a scam that could get you into quite a bit of trouble and leave you broke.
