It really depends on what type of buyer you are targeting. Selling things for kids is great, things for pets are too. There is a big market in craft supplies of all types and hobbyists too. There are a lot of used book sellers that I buy from too both for paper, audio and electronically downloads. Offer more then one way for people to buy: like credit cards, debit cards, paypal and echecks so more people will be able to get your products. Don t list store policies for paying that make you sound like an a$$hole or give them 24 hours to pay or they lose the item they won. That makes you sound like a control freak who doesn t trust anyone. When someone buys put a sales slip in the package with a thank you on it. When a person feels appreciated they come back for more. I have had bad luck buying electronics online and so have several people I know, so unless you have brand new items and the ability to guarantee them, that can be complicated. Firstly it would help if you gave some information. Such as, what country are you in? What state or territory? Internet is international you know. Since you didnt say what country you are in I am guessing you must be American.You can sell legally. What you cannot do is enter into a contract. Including a business contract. That is going to get in your way of starting an internet business . At some point you would have to have your parents sign or at least co-sign something to become a real business. You also are going to run into tax law problems. There is a cutoff of about $600 for having to declare but that can be affected by state tax laws.

Do not take a chance this is business, you need to get a Lawyer and let him draw up the papers and then both of you sign them. Do not get any forms some of them are not even binding even when you have them notarized. It will be worth it to pay extra for a lawyer to get this done right for the both of you. You do not want to lose any money so get a Lawyer.

I say build the website yourself, anyone 12(and often do) and over can do it.im currently learning through w3 schools.The chat is a bit more difficult, it requires using other languages. There are tutorials on youtube that teach you to do it with php and such.the adverts you will understand when you build your site.
