UPS Arrival Question? -

I ordered something from Logitech, and it is being tracked online. However they packages are both in Phoenix. (I m so close to Phoenix it s not even funny). The one pound box says it departed today at 1:21 AM. And it expected to be here Today (14th). However the 16 Pound box says it ll be here tomorrow. Why is this? Or will they both be coming today? Thanks, 10 points for clear answer.

Small boxes move through the system at a faster rate at UPS because their goal is to get the most deliveries done per day. Their system makes some guesses on the size of the box based on weight. and usually estimate larger boxes will take longer because they fill up the trucks faster. But humans do get involved and those humans realize that they can deliver more boxes per day if they stop one today at house A than once today and once tomorrow. If this wasn t the Christmas season I would say that there is about a 95% chance that both would show today. Because it is the Christmas season the chances are still pretty good but reduced because there are so many more packages to go through.

Is it really hard to make money selling scentsy? -

I know consultants are not suppoesed to say real numbers but I need to know if it is worth all the work to sell scentsy. I am in a rural area and by the time I drive to people s houses for parties and stuff and buy more business materials, will I be out of money for that month? I m not sure I ll make more than $75-100 per month and that won t put much of a dent in our monthly expenses. I just want some direct answers. Thanks so much in advance.

Selling anything is rough especially if your in rural area !plus thats only a one time sale in most instances !GETTING repeat customers over and over again is YOUR toughest achievement i would venture into another form of home business thats provides a residual income that requires very little work on your part

I have been selling Scentsy for about 9 months now and I love it. To be honest, I rarely do any home parties. Most of my sales are simply by word of mouth. With Scentsy, you will get 20% commission from you sales. Once you sell a thousand dollars you will move up to 25% commission. It is really not that hard to sell Scentsy. It really does basically sell itself. As your team grows, your earnings will grow as well. It is a great job for extra money, but to think of it as a full time income in the beginning would be unrealistic. The kit that you get when you sign up will have everything you need to get started. So, you would not need to buy anything extra in the beginning. There are alot of great promotional products that you can buy, but they are not necessary. My advise to anyone that is just starting with Scentsy is to have a big Open House in your home and invite EVERYONE that you know. Hopefully, you can get several bookings off of your own open house. Also, get friends and family to host parties for you. Scentsy is a great product and once people see it for themselves they will usually come back for more. Good luck with your decision. I hope this helped you some.

Being in a rural area brings about different challenges, but it s definitely not impossible. I have one consultant on my team who lives in a rural area, but makes it work to her advantage. She s the only consultant close to her area, so many people seek her out when they need more product. Not all of your work has to be with home parties. I do a lot of basket parties, where I hand off the basket of scents and the hostess is on her way. A week later, she brings it back and I calculate the order and send it in. For the time and effort put into it, it s worth it. I also get a lot of online sales that don t require a party at all.I don t share income publicly, but I have done so via email. Sharing this information can be misleading since everyone runs their business differently. But I m happy to share if it would make your decision easier.I wish you the best of luck with your decision and commend you for all your research. It sounds like you like the company and the product and that s the best first step.Lisa

my wife sells Scentsy and loves it. Being in a rural area might be hard at first until people know that you are selling it, then they will be coming to you or ordering off your Scentsy web site. On nice thing about it is no one else is selling it around you so you will not have other Scentsy people trying to sell to your customers. Another thing that will help you a lot is to sign up under a good consultant that will help you out anytime you need, weather its for questions about your account or ordering or maybe just needing some scents or warmers found for your customers that you cant get. My wife has a large inventory of warmers and scents, and she loves to help out her team in anyway she can. we ship things to her other team members all the time that live on the other side of the US, and NO we don t charge them shipping for it. if you would like to know more about it or talk about how much money you can make, my wife would love to talk to you about it and answer any question you may have. please email me and i will give you her web site, email address and phone number. good luck with what ever you decide to do.

Need help with a start-up business loan for my BEE partner? -

I want to start a car wash business at a extremely busy crossing, but aren t working at the moment and doesn t have the necessary funds to do it. If i have someone who will apply for a loan of let say R30 000 and make him a shareholder of the business and back him with, a home, an office for the business and some equipment to help out, what can i do to accomplish this task? When starting this business, this person will have a BEE shareholding of 26%. I have no idea what to do or where to start, but have all the knowledge to run this business fluently. Please help?

First, is there a building you can use? If you have to build it then forget it that is a HUGE cost. I could still balance out seeing that winter is coming soon (if you live in the northern hemisphere) But still 30,000 is still a small loan compared to what you need capital wise. If the building is near a gas station that is a big plus, because people cash wash their car and fill up. Do your research on the equipment you need to do so and if the equipment will fit in the building and if the landlord would want that to go into the building. Go to other car washes and get some ideas and how you can do better. Try looking at sba.gov to try and get some loans from them too. Banks like it when people are backed up by the SBA, but you need your business plan. Don t forget.

I think you idea is ridiculous, as it has been done before a million times over and no good success comes from a fabricated business idea that a mobile car wash at a servo could do better. If you are business minded come up with a relatively good idea draw a business plan which has never been done and get sponsorship through a government body as a small business and take a low risk investment loan, once you have done the basics of your research, like business analysis, market research do the impossible and outreach for your horizons, be the best business man you can be....Best of luck to amateur..

I am starting a security company (Guarding) please suggest a slogan.? -

The name of the company is TERRIER security services

TERRIER-----The Trusted name for security

Before you jump in, it may be prudent to evaluate security brands that already have an established presence and client base. For instance, Arrow Security has been around for over 25 years, already have companies that know, trust and use their service and they ve spent all the time and money on marketing, branding and advertising research - so you don t need to worry about reinventing the wheel. In the end, it can save you lots of time and money, and give you more time to focus on improving your security service.

+ Security starts with TERRIER+ Safe AND Sound+ We ll keep an eye on you!+ We ll watch catch+ Eye Spy+ Your personal private eye.+ we have eyes for you+ Someone to watch over me..............+ we re looking out for you

Say an item was quot;5 Usd/pcquot; ...What does it mean? -

I was looking at online bulk and it appears a lot as a business term.

I m thinking that this means 5 U.S. Dollars per Piece. Does that make sense given the context?

What is a good name for my small auto business? -

i need a name for my business im about to launch i fix appearances of cars like dings healights interior rips and so on, i live in texas if that gives you any ideas please think of something good and dont give me somthing already taken thanks.

How about running a competition in your area through your local newspapers, or with local secondary schools/colleges etc to get all the locals to come up with a name. That way you get free PR in the local newspapers, school/college newsletters etc both announcing the competition in the first place and then announcing the winner, perhaps with a photo of you handing the competition winner their prize (which doesn t have to be expensive - how about an MP3 player for a tenner?) and if you get photographed with the winning name/logo being held up too then it gets it in front of people right from the start. then once they start to see your business up and running they will already be familiar with the logo/name etc and your business will have instant credibility. This is just an idea - adapt it at will!

How about Jerry Riggs?
