What is a good job for a middle schooler? -

I m in sixth grade, and I m running low on money. My parents never give me an allowance, even when I do work. I don t have certain jobs to do, so the only money I can count on getting is the $100 my grandparents give me for my birthday, and the loose change I find on the street. So, I need money. I m not old enough to babysit anyone other than my sister, and anyway, who wants to deal with stranger kids for hours and only for 20 or whatever? Not me. I was thinking about dog-walking, but I need a year-round job, and I don t know how many dogs are in my neighborhood. Also, I live in Texas, so no snow-shoveling jobs or crap like that. Anyway, the point is, I need money, and I don t know what to do to get it. So if anyone has any ideas, please help e! I ll answer your question if you have one, I promise! Thank you!!!

Well babysitting is definitely the best way to make money at your age, no matter how boring it may be. If you find the right person, you can make $80 in 3 hours (This happened to my sister once, she watched 4 kids for 3 hours on her birthday, no lie)Also dog walking is a year-round job, dogs need to be walked in june as well as december.Raking, mowing lawns, and yardwork is always a good wayNegotiating some type of allowance with your parents is probably the best, though. Just say you want to learn the value of money or something educational-sounding like that and it should work

HeyI lost my job about 6 months ago and with me having limited skills and cash I turned to the internet to try and make some money. Everyone says they re a scam and honestly I thought they were but dont believe it when people say they are ALL a scam. Its not true! I found one that does work and made me a good income all this time and I live pretty comfortably off what I make each month, better than at my old job anyway. I found maverick money makers and you can learn from these really detailed video tutorials how to earn money. The guy who does them goes into tons of detail so its really easy to follow, and not just one way either he teaches about 20 known ways that have worked for me its really cool. Check out the site below and you can see him taking you through some of the stuff he does. the joining fee is $97 and its guarenteed too, if you re totally rubbish and havent made the sort of money you want in 60 days you can have your money back :)Hope that helps you. Have fun, and good luck! :-D

Seller on eBay agrees to my best offer but counters with $1 and says will bill rest later? -

A seller listed an item on eBay for $120. I countered with $80. The Seller agrees to the price but says he or she counters with $1 and will bill remaining $79. What does the Seller gain from this? Is this eBay policy?

No, Paypal gets it s percentage. He s cheating eBay out of their final value fee. Technically, you don t have to pay more than $1.

why wouldn t they want the money now? doesn t sound right. sounds like they will try and bill you more than $9 later and then report you to ebay if you don t pay - they probably won;t ship it anyway or they will keep your $ and give you negative feedback or a non-paying strike which is BADRUN AWAY!!!!!!

Might be trying to get around the percentage due to pay pal. I just stay away from things that sound hinky though.

What is wholesale and retail? -

what kinds of businesses is it?

Retail are places that sell directly to the public like shops and restaurants. Wholesale are businesses that sell to retailers i.e. not directly to the general public.

wholesale is a price that is usually under retail price, and given when you buy a whole lot of one item. Usually a business will buy wholesale, and sell at the Retail price that is how they make their money. The business that sells the smaller business their product also makes money off of the massive sale. The item should not cost as much as the wholesale price to make so there is always a profit.

Wholesaling is the sale of goods or merchandise to retailers, to industrial, commercial, institutional, or other professional business users, or to other wholesalers and related subordinated services. Example would be a Cash and Carry which supplied goods at trade(wholesale) prices to shopsRetailing is the selling of goods to consumers; usually in small quantities and not for resale. Example would be a shop selling to the general public. So yes a clothes shop is a retailer and the places where the clothes shop gets its stock from e.g. a clothes warehouse, would be the retailer.

All businesses use this system they buy the commodity cheap from the supplier of the goods as cheap as they can then double or treble its price or even more then sell it to you at the greater price hence wholesale and the big money earner RETAIL so the seller to you can have the big house,Flash car and a pocket full of money
