What is the best online work from home businesses? -

You need to send your resume out to real jobs you are qualified to do. In your cover letter you need to state that you wish to work remotely, from your home office. LOTS of companies, especially in CA operate this way. They usually provide transportation for you to come in for an interview and for you to attend company meetings a few times a year, but otherwise everything is done online.

When you find something that is enjoyable for you and you are or can become an expert at, while making a living, that will be the best business for you. There is no easy answer for this one, but you can start about thinking about the kinds of products, services and ideas that stir your imagination and get you excited. That will give you one or more paths to explore.

Where to get Startup loan from Govt. channels at cheap rates? -

I have very good ideas to start various businesses but don t know where to get finance for the startup. I need at least 10-15 lakhs to start and work for one year.I don t want to Go to private lending agencies and looking for Govt. channels like SIDBI etc who offer help to new entrepreneurs. Please answer here or can mail me at pankaj.ebiz@gmail.com

Hi pankaj, Most nationalised banks give collateral free loans to start-up entrepreneurs under the CGTMC scheme. SIDBI is a good option. In addition, you can also approach IDBI, SBI and Bank of Baroda. They all give loans under this scheme.Further, you can apply for angel investment to Indian Angel Network or Mumbai Angel Network( if you are in Mumbai). They have many angel investors who are willing to fund start-ups. You just need to write a neat business plan and approach them. I took angel funding from the Indian Angel Network for my start-up. It wasn t too complicated/difficult (provided you have the right idea).

How would i go about opening a buisness? -

ok so i would like to open a computer repair shopHow would i go about doing that?Would i need a license to operate like would taking boces cover it?but would i need any certification ?

No, you do not need any certification. You will need a business license. Go to your local city hall and ask where you can get information on starting a business. Most city halls have kits to help guide you through the process. Some of the materials in the kit may not be useful to you (they typically include information on how to pass inspections for selling food, etc.).For your type of service, you will probably just need the business license. If you repair the computers at your customer s offices, then you don t have your own office and don t need any liability insurance.

Before you open a computer repair shop go work for one and make sure that that is what you want to do. Those guys work really hard and don t make a ton of money. It s a huge investment so be sure that it is the path you want to take before jumping on the road.

Starting a small business? -

What are the steps that I have to take to start a small, at home, business? What are the legal things that need to be done? What do I do to copyright my business name and logo?

People with a creative, steady hand can use that talent to make a part-time income from a home calligraphy business. Do you have creative and artistic lettering skills? Do you have self-promotional know-how? Then why not start your own home calligraphy business part-time in your own home?A home calligraphy business is easy. You simply apply beautiful and styled hand lettering to products that will sell to customers. You can create a catalog of basic items to sell, such as framed poems and greeting cards. However, one of the ways that calligraphers make great part-time money is by creating custom products such as:Personalized greeting cardsWedding invitationsCertificatesMenus

Ebay bidding...Im one of these types most people hate coz i barnstorm in the last? -

15 seconds with a bid :) can you set something up within ebay to do this for you as you cant always be present for all auctions???

It s called sniping .You can t set anything within Ebay to do it, but there are 3rd party sites that do. You have to trust them with your Ebay user name and password though...Google ebay sniping for a whole range of sites and software...

goofbay have been really good for me. they will snipe for you, however lately they don t always get your snipe in, so if it s something you really want badly use a sniping site that you pay a few pennies to do it for you

Yes. You can put in a maximum bid. Everytime somebody bids above you, Ebay will bid for you, but only up to your maximum.

nope u cant have to do it yourself!!!

Registera company name without forming any formal LLC or self proprietorship etc? -

Hi, I just want to secure the company name for now and do not want to get into the the legal matter to official setup the company. Is it possible to just secure the company name. I am looking for least expensive opition. Thanks for sharing your valuable knolwdge.Massachusetts, USA.

In Massachusetts, you may reserve a corporate name by filling out an Application of Reservation of Name and paying a fee of $30.00. The name will be reserved for the exclusive use of the applicant for a sixty-day (60) period. During the sixty days, you may extend the reservation for an additional sixty days, with an additional $30.00 fee.Check the website sited in the source for the application form.

In most states you can register a fictions name without incorporating. Go online and look for your states Secretary of State website. Follow the instructions for filing a fictitious name. Please keep in mind that you ll still need all the necessary licenses, permits, IRS Federal ID etc to start and run your business. You would then file Schedule C with your 1040 to report the revenues, expenses and profits for than business. What you may also want to consider, is incorporating and filing for Sub Chapter S with the IRS. This is usually a less expensive tax structure than the route you re looking to take now.Good luck,Gus

You may do a DBA without any legal stuff (incorporation/business licenses) This will give you a chance to develop the other parts of your business (getting checking account - advertising) This will only work for a corporate name or business name in your state, does not cover national names.

Would this be considered low class? -

ok, so I have in mind of opening a boutique...now I want to sell high end stuff like cost between $75-$3000 on one side of my boutique.....then in another room of my boutique I want to sell like dollar store stuff......dollar.. to 75 bucks....thanks.........also, help me name this type of boutique....something with the words international, or worldwide AND the word luxury or something similar....AND to portray the dollar stuff in the title of my boutique....thanks

Not a good idea. People who buy high-end stuff don t want to be associated with stores that sell low-end products. You might do ok on the low-end side, but you are killing the high-end side. You won t see Gucci affiliating with Wal-Mart. High-end retailers must protect their brand by keeping away from low-end retailers. If you want to sell at both ends of the spectrum, do it in different stores.

High and low end are two seperate markets and target audience. I will suggest do not mix both of them. Stick with only one (Either go High end or Low end) depending on where you are opening you shop. For example: If you are opening your store in high end area then carry only high end items.Try Cla$$ Botique as an example

I agree, as a purchaser of higher end items I wouldn t want to be faced with tat or the shopper that $ items might draw, when shopping for luxury goods... sounds snooty I guess but just my opionion.

Is this modeling agency a scam or not? -

I got honor roll for the first time ever and my mom was so proud of me she said i could pick a model agency and I decided to pick Craze modeling agency, could you tell me if it s a scam or not, I also can t figure out how much money is, could you also help with that? it would mean a LOT to me :]

Wow, Congrats on making the honor roll! That s exciting. :)Best education on how to get into modeling the modeling world: www.newmodels.com or www.exporemodeling.com. Both sites explain how the modeling world REALLY works and how to get into modeling. Educate yourself so you don t get scammed.FYI - you don t need a portfolio in order to send photos to an agency. Any agency who wants you will know exactly what kinds of photos they want in order to promote you. Do NOT listen to anyone who says you need a portfolio in order to get started! I had nothing when my agency accepted me. When they signed me, they told me what types of photos they needed ( Commercial/lifestyle ), gave me a list of photographers in the area who did that type of photography, and I had to get photos taken for my comp card (model s business card which has photos on it). I didn t have to use any of the photographers on the list, I was free to go to any photographer I wanted as long as they knew how to do commercial photography. If an agency sends you to use their in-house photographer don t give you the option to shop around for a different photographer, then it is a scam. And keep in mind that since you are under 18, you will need parental consent before any agency will sign you. So get your parents involved in your decision and have them look at those sites above too so they know what you are doing is legit.

Well I looked it up at google and found this https://www.ripoffreport.com/Modeling-Ta Take a look at it. Just remember this, if they charge you an upfront fee, its a scam. If a modeling agency likes you enough they will not make you pay. So if you insist on going keep this fact in mind. So remember anything making you pay absurd upfront fee is no good. Im not a model, but I act and I know that they are very similar. I went to an agency once that did modeling and acting. I applied for both because modeling interests me. But they charge an absurd fee and I have found better places for acting that is. So you can still try but no upfront fees and good luck. You can do a google search + agency+ scam to find out if they are a scam. I hope this helps

i ve heard that if they want you to pay any money up front, they are a scam. God bless~
