Ebay fraud. What to do next? -

Ok, so 4 weeks ago I purchased an item on ebay for $116. After two weeks, it still hadn t come so I contacted the seller and received no reply to the 3 emails i sent. (I allowed 5 days for a response). Then, I saw the sellers feedback score had changed from only 8 positive, to 8 positive (all buying), and 4 negative (all who had the same problem as me).I have also lodged a complaint on paypal, and escalated that into a paypal claim (which is still pending).Anyway, I have messaged the other victims of this fraud, and we are willing to send a police report. Is this a good idea, as the seller obviously has our addresses since he was meant to post out our items???I ALSO have all his contact details including full name, address and phone numbers (which I have rung but as soon as I mention ebay I get hung up on). What should I do from here, and I HATE being ripped off to pathetic thugs, and I (and the other ebay users) want out money back.

Paypal have been sounding off about their wonderful Buyer Protection (which last year in Australia was advertised at $20,000 as part of a marketing campaign - probably been reduced by now) so theoretically you should have nothing to worry about if you followed all the eBay rules. But I have a nasty feeling that they try to squirm out of paying by claiming that the seller has cleaned out their Paypal account and there is no money to refund. This is false advertising and basically fraud if it is true, so I hope it is not. Maybe someone else can offer some real life experience, hopefully positive, for you in this nasty dilemma. Good luck.

You will receive your refund from Paypal, and they will chase the seller for it.Yes it would be a good idea collectively to file a Police action, as this will carry more weight.Good luck

There are many manufacturers throughout the country. I suggest you go on line or look in your local yellow pages. If your degree of expertise in this line is good than you should not have any problem. Go direct to the horses mouth so to speak.

How do survey websites make money? -

I m thinking of creating a survey website to have a little more money, but i want to know how they create income. Also where do the surveys come from?

So you actually want to make a survey site on your own? Well buddy, you better be prepared for a lot of hard work. Okay, well here s how it works, big companies like Coca-Cola or Walmart pay big survey sites a set commission based on the number of surveys they fill out. You would be below these big survey sites, and they would pay you even less than the big companies pay them. Basically, the big survey sites are the middle man here and unless you can become as popular as they are, there s no way you can compete. However, you can still make money. Lets say a big company will pay $10 for every person who the big survey companies (the people who actually make the surveys) can get to take a survey. They typically pay 25-50% to the smaller sites (YOU) to collect surveys, and in turn, you will pay the people taking the surveys on your website 25-50% to take the surveys, so you re looking at making about a $1 for every survey taken from someone on your site. Hope this helps, and like I said, it s A LOT of work.

Where can I find a free business plan template thats actually free? -

It seems like they advertise as free, but they all have a catch.

SCORE ( http://www.score.org ) is a national non-profit which is part of the US Small Business Administration. They are an organization that enlists retired senior executives who volunteer their time and expertise to help aspiring entrepreneurs get a good start on opening a business, or growing one. These executives give business consultations at no charge, plus lots of material for starting a business - licensing, insurance, business law, taxes, inventory, supply chain, and cash flow projections. On their website, go to tools, and you ll find some MS Excel templates that include business plan, cash flow, break even analysis, etc. You can download them and use.All these are free without any obligation. It might also be good for you to visit your local SCORE chapter and have a consulting session with a counselor.
