I want to become a glass blower, particularly glass pipes? -

I want a career in making bowls, vases, glasses, beads and the like as well, but mostly pipes. How would i go about starting this? I know that the first step is taking some classes, but im pretty sure they wont teach me how to make pipes specifically? if i take classes, will the instructors be able to possibly teach me some skills for making pipes or point me in the direction of someone i can learn from? or would they be offended somehow? responses from glass blowers would be much appreciated, and so would any other information on the subject. no rude comments please. thank you in advance. :]
