Im starting a flea market business. Whats your favorite food? -

I m starting a flea market stand in order to get myself through nursing school. I know how to cook and bake and thought it would be an honest way to make a living while I m struggling to pay for college etc. I have tried many other things and I am set on this. Can anyone give me some foods ideas? They must be cheap, tasty, and not too intricate to make :-).Here are my ideas so far:Empanadas, Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Fries, Rice, Kettle Popcorn and other popcorn, Cookies, Muffins, Brownies, Tea, Coffee, Biscuits, Sausage, Eggs, and other drinks. As you can tell, these are pretty affordable for me to make :-). Any other ideas?I like the options above since I can transport the rice, potatoes, chicken, etc. and set up 2-3 hours early and make them right there in our flea market stand. What else is good? I am going to the New Jersey area. Thanks a lot!

First, make sure you get all necessary licenses from the state and health department of where you ll be selling food.Next, look at what your chosen flea market already has available. If they already have a thriving breakfast food stand, you don t want to go with coffee and eggs. Find a type of food that is not available yet. Also, match the food type with the type of people who come. For example, if there is a large Hispanic shopper base, you d probably do great with tamales and empanadas.I personally think a baked goods - cookies, muffins, brownies - stand would be a great hit.Best of luck!

What about tamales? They are easy to make in large quantities and can be reheated. You can make a variety of different kinds.

You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job. These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as work at home because they would hear from too many unqualified people.

Whatever you do you want to be professional. Therefore, choose something you know a lot about. It does not really matter what it is. What do you enjoy? What are interested in? Most importantly, what you passionate about? Your reader will pick up on your passion and be a repeat visitor. You want to build a good reputation and have repeat visitors. You want them to share your content. Be interested in your reader and they will be interested in you. You show a great example in your question you have listed here. Be real and always use original content. I ve learned that the hard way.

How would I start a service to help people to find help they need? -

I live in Tennessee and I m wanting to start a service were people in my community could come to ask about what service are out there to help them with a need. Such as health care with no insurance, support for a disease, housing, elderly or handicap services. Are there already this kind of services and if so how do you find them or contact them.

Well, you would have to charge money probably. Unless you could get government grants to do that work. The only thing is, people can already go into DHS and find most of that.

Maybe in Canada it is different, but in the UK I just went there with the van, a wad of cash and maybe some headed company papers and my documents and said: I ll have a pallet of that, two of those and maybe 25 boxes of this and let s hope they make me enough money to come back for more... Next time I d go there with two vans and double the money and expect to pay 5% less, if not... I was on to the next one.And that was my license.

Start an online community. Yahoo Answers, Youtube, Myspace...they all make money, and they are all free. #1 Make a forum or myspace type website (Its not that hard, I just bought a premade site for like $20. Everything was already built, I just put a logo on it to make it my own and tweaked a few things from the control panel)#2 Start working on getting people to join (Make it about something that a large group of people will follow. Some of my sites are dating sites for example that specalize in a certain type of dating)#3 Put ads on your site. If you have enough people coming and going from the site, it will start making you money. Then you can start taking some of that money and pouring it into advertising your site so you can get even more members and make more money eventually.It wont be easy getting lots of people to join though. I guess it depends on how creative you are or if you arent creative, then how much money you have to advertise.

Have you looked into network marketing. Low startup cost; simple, duplicatable franchise type system, help and support from others in the business.
