Ebay second chance offer question.? -

My item sold, but I have more than one of them. Can offer the 2nd higher bidder a second chance offer for the duplicate one? Or sould I relist the item?

Let s say the auction ended at $25 for the high bidder and $24 for the second bidder. If you are willing to accept $24, send them the SCO.While the bidder is not required to accept it, if they do, you don t pay listing fees, only the FVF.

If your business fail do you have to pay for the loan? -

I do not own a business as of yet, I m looking at the consequences of starting my own business, I do not want it to fail, but let s say if I take out a loan, and by some odd chance my business fail, do I have to pay for the loan? It s been a long time but, my teacher said most of the time, you do not have to pay back the loan you ve taken out.. So, I don t know.. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank You.

I do not know what planet your teacher is from , you use some else s money for profit and don t repay it plus interest that is a theft.

no one is going to give you money to start a business, or get a lease for that matter, without you personally backing the loan/lease. Whether you have a corporation or not will not matter. You will be personally liable. Unless you plan on declaring bankruptcy, you will be liable to pay back the loans. Teachers say these things because they have not been in the real world. In theory, 75% are above average.

Always set your business separate from yur personal life. This is not hard to do. If you say I will operate under my personal name and as a sole owner etc. you ve just failed. Learn about incorporating and discover the cash that is available to your business.

What are the hidden business secrets? -

Try to narrow your question a bit, that might help. Those additional details are there to clarify things for us answer-ers. Business secrets regarding to what? Trends, managing finances, trying to persuade someone who may not want to be persuaded into buying/doing something? What you re asking is extremely vague.

HHMMM... it means secrets are being hidden by the business... Let me know when you find the answer for this amazing question...I m curious to find out.

Why companies are stressing on Quality Managemen? -

to live longer in the market

Companies compete on Quality and service, not just on price. Quality means suitability for its intended purpose. It does not mean Gold Faucets in your bathroom.Quality also means a high level of reliability and acceptable product life expectancy. That in turn means the product will perform correctly every time and for a long time in the future. Companies that are not competitive on quality will soon fail.

I am a married mom of 5 and i want to open a cafe what grant should i get? -

I have no money to start with

Despite what you may have heard, there are no grants to open your own business. You can look at the US government grant site, http://www.grants.govThey will refer you to the Small Business Adminsitration web site, to look at SBA loans for business startups. http://www.sba.gov

What should i charge? -

i m selling cookies in my neighborhood...how much do you think i should charge for a dozen cookies?

Are they homemade? If so, how much did it cost to make them? Just multiply the cost by 2, and that s what you should sell them for.

a dollar or two5 if you live in a really nice area of oppulance if you live at the white house $10Khow much did you spend on ingredientshow much time did you spend mixing baking them?if they try to talk you down in price tell them to go out and buy a dozen cookies or the ingtrfients and take the time to bake them they should see the light. If not double the price because your time is worth something and they re taking more of it than you have tro sparethen turn and walk away

it depends, if you know they re really scrumptious, you could charge about 4 for a dozen. If they re alright, but could be bought for better in a supermarket, u should charge about 3. =]

it s depends on your production cost of your cookies...and demand on your cookies. if your production cost is $3.00 and you should take charge $4.00 or $5.00 ,...

$3.00 for half dozen and $5.00 for a dozen (depending on how big they are)

$3 - $5, that s what I would pay. And that s what I usually find them to be priced around

Can someone explain the AVON business to me? -

you can email me with info. please dont tell me to sign up if u dont answer my quetion. What is the % profit on each product ?What other ways to earn money through AVONHow i it going for you?Around how much u earn monthly from AVON

I sell AVON and I earn about 300 to 400 extra a month. You make 40% off of your first 4 campaings with the exception of items with a diamond next to them, this is usually things like shoes and purses and clothing. You can also earn money if you sign up other reps under you, although you must have at least 5 signed up to start before you can earn off of them. I have been selling for a year now and I love it. You do not have to carry any products in stock and it has a low sign up fee of $10 unless you sign up online then it is $20. If you need more answers visit www.yourhappydance.com. It is a great website for AVON reps and people wanting to become AVON reps! Good Luck! :)

My wife used to sell Mary Kay which I think works pretty much the same. The mark up on each item was 100% but she had to buy so much crap that she could not sell that she lost money each year. The only people that make money are the area reps who make a commission on all the stuff you would be stuck buying.

Avon is a network marketing company and like any network marketing company if you commit to sharing the business concept and products with enough people you will succeed. Most people were more successful after reading the success ebook below.

Different products have different percentages and how much you sell affects your percentage. Because of this I chose not to sell Avon. The campaigns change every 2 weeks so you really have to be on top of things. I went with Tupperware instead.

How would i handle a situation at work about other employees and i cant talk to my manger about the situation? -

I have notice that some of the other employees are stealing from work and using the business computer for their own personal use and the manger isn t doing anything about it and i have only been there four months so what should i do.

Chances are the manager does the same thing... It s hard to know what to do because you don t want to lose your job. They have to live with their conscience. Just set a good example for them, and they will respect you for doing the right thing, and hopefully in the end that will pay off for you!

If the manager knows and still doesn t do anything about it then it s out of your hands unless you go to a boss higher up than the manager. Stealing is wrong, but if the manager isn t concerned then why should you be? I don t think they d let it happen on their watch. If this is an issue where you think you could get blamed or everyone gets punished if the culprit doesn t come forward, then I d say something.

Why can t you tell your manager about it? No matter how long a worker as been at a single job, if they are breaking the rules and policies it should be a worthy thing to tell the manager about, if he doesn t notice it.

If the manager knows and does not care you can either go over his head, or ignore it. It is your manager s job to protect the company.

if i were you, i would send an anonymous note saying this and put it on the managers desk.

what type of job is it ? Is there someone higher than the manager if so go to them

Can a client insist on a schedule if you were hired as a contractor? -

I have my own marketing business. Business has been slower than usual. I had an opportunity where a very large well known company was considering a contractor for a position that had previously been filled by an employer because they couldn t find someone with the amount of experience they needed for the money they were offering. My partners wanted me to take the job because it would look good on our client list so I did. The first day I was told the bosses didn t want a contractor and I was asked if I could come in daily as opposed from doing the job from our own office to make them more at ease. Since it was only for a few months I reluctantly agreed assuming if I needed to adjust that schedule they would understand. I was allowed to choose the hours. As I started learning the job I realized there were many things that came up outside of those hours. I also started realizing that I wasn t getting paid for parking or commute times which was getting costly, and the hours I was given was not sufficient to get most of the tasks done. Since I am usually used to just doing what it takes to get the job done, that is what I have been doing. I do a lot of work outside of the normal hours and don t bill for it. I have made them money and are saving them a lot of money. So when I needed to make changes to my schedule to accommodate other clients, I was told that wasn t acceptable even though were getting the same hours for free essentially. I was also scolded for being a few minutes late from time to time even though I don t get parking privileges and have the added struggle of having to find parking. Apparently the employees have been complaining. I was warned by a mentor to never allow a client to set hours because then they will start treating you like an employee and when you don t have the benefits of one you will lose time and money. I can see that now. When I said something I was made to feel like I wasn t honoring my word and that they had the right to give me a schedule and that I knew the situation when I agreed to the job. Are they really allowed to give you hours? DO you think I am being taken advantage of?

Yes you are being taken advantage of.They appear to want the best of both worlds (employee vs contractor).I think that if you can afford to lose this account, you should renegotiate your deal.

Can someone answer my 2 questions? -

Whats the advantages of a public sector??andIdentify and explain different ways a business of mobile phones might use to increase its market share??Thank you!!

The Public Sector handles things that are of benefit to the entire community. But those things would not make economic sense for a business to undertake. The government builds big ships and airplanes to protect the country; no business could charge citizens to protect them.To increase market share:more advertisingcut the price of the cell phonesoffer more features on the phonesgive away the phones and just charge for airtimeuse celebrities who say that you only use your brand of phoneadd another capability like GPS to the phone

Importing from India/China? -

Hi..I want to start importing products in bulk from India and China for sale in the UK.Can anyone give me any simple guidance and advice for this, as it s not something I have ever done before. What s the best way to go about it? What about import duties/taxes? How do you ensure safety of money, and product delivery when dealing with companies in India and China? Any useful information would be gladly received!

It is a good idea to import goods from indian and China, because you can get a lot of profits. However, you need to find the right products you are going to import and a reliable supplier who will offer you not only quality products but also favorable price. You can check the website of the supplier and refer to the customer s comments. Or you can contact with them through online service tools. If you find the right products you are intereSted, don t hurry to place an order, check whether they accept such safe way of payment such as paypal, if not, it most likely a scam. After check the reliability, you still be careful, place a small order to see whether everything happened as expected, if everything is ok, you can trust them and establish your long term partnership:)As you refer to import duties/taxes, you need not to worry about it, because most of them offer frishipping service, such as EBsilk.com, you need only to wait for your order:)In fact it is not that difficult, if you have any problems you can contact with them directly. Hope you enjoy your business:)

Can anyone tell me about working from home business or internet working? -

I work as administration officer and i am working for the last 10 years but my pay is not much, I hardly can survive and some times at the end of the month i am totally broke. I normally see so many advertisements on the internet and newspaper about working from homes. some times they com up with the succesful stories as well. But it just sound to good to be true but still i wanted to ask if some one knows working from home on the internet is that a scam or true business, Or if some one knows any of the links where i can start working and money aswell would be a huge help. If anyone knows about this than please let me know...

If you want a real job apply at real companies that have real openings for your profession. Explain in your cover letter that you want to work at your home office.

Is it still a scam , or cheap labour..who knows.

it is too good to be true. those jobs don t exist.

I have been with a company called Ameriplan for over a year now, and I just love it. If a company tells you that you will make a million your first year, than I would say it is a scam. Ameriplan never told me this. All I was told that if I worked the business than in 2 to 5 years I could be making a six figure income. I could live with this. I make enough to help at the end of the month and am on my way to the six figures. The best part is I don t have to buy a lot of products each month, and I make money each month from the work I did months ago.

Please understand that many countries in the world have better Internet (and a better grasp of English) plus many highly educated people .. and those countries that have very low cost of living are willing to work for $1 a day ...ANY job that can be done from home over the Internet (and that includes all telephone (VOIP) jobs (such as telemarketing , Help Desks and similar) can be done MUCH cheaper in the 3rd world ... this is why, for example., many UK Call Centers have been moved to India ...The work from home market does not have a labor shortage .. even in your own country there are millions of highly educated people who are stuck at home (disabled, housewife, househusband etc etc) ... and this keeps wage rates low.Unless you have the contacts and some special skills qualifications you can offer (eg Consultant Lawer, registered Tax / Business / Auditing Accountant etc.) you are competing with minimum wage earners ..So, as others have said, almost anything you are offered on the Internet will be some sort of SCAM, typically some sort of Pyramid Scheme (often thinly disguised as MLM = buy products every month ). Of course, 100% of those depending an up front FEE, often called a Deposit (thus giving you some sort of impression that you might get it back ha ha ) are variations on the 419 Advanced Fee Fraud. For real work form home , you need to find a REAL company that operates in the real world .. and go see them ..

Starting my own computer business... how can I create a legal document for clients to sign....? -

I need some sort of form for clients to sign. It will say that they are responsible for paying for work done on their computer, will not receive their computer until payment is received, and if the computer is not picked up within 30 days, it becomes my property?Something along those lines. I ve had trouble with someone thinking that building their website should not have taken as long as it did (even though it was a 30-page website) and they know absolutely nothing about computers, and someone else has yet to pick up their computer (I ve had it for over a month now).I just need something that will protect me, but also the customer. Thanks!

use legal websites.
