Any legit homework jobs out there without costly start up fees? -

Single mom of 3, looking for legit home based work. Been scammed so many times.

I know there are a lot of scams out there so be careful! Dont listen to the people though who say they are ALL scams. They are not actually ALL scams, just a lot of them are! LOL! In fact Yahoo Finance says that for every 1 legitimate home based opportunity there are 57 scams! At any rateI am actually a nurse and I love working outside the home but I know a lot of people want or need to work from home. About 2 years ago my sister finally found a legitimate company thats been in business for 20 years. I dont know too much about it but shes been doing it for 2 years now, about 20 hours a week and she makes about $40,000 a year. I know its legit because they have dozens of fortune 500 partners, they are members of the US Chamber of Commerce and of course, Ive seen her paychecks, LOL! She says she loves it! She gets to stay home with her kids which is pretty cool! Its not a job working for someone else but instead she sets her own schedule and she determines how much she makes. The more she puts into it, the more she gets out. I wish jobs were like that because I know I work way harder than some of the nurses here who are getting paid the same as I am! LOL P.S. I found a list of top 10 work at home scams to help you avoid them:10. Craft Assembly 9. Medical Billing 8. Email/Rebate Processing 7. A List of Companies Looking for Home workers! 6. Just pay for and take this class first Then well give or find you a job! 5. Envelope Stuffing 4. Turn Your Computer Into a Money-Making Machine! 3. Pyramid Schemes (this is NOT the same as Multi-Level Marketing MLM)2. Chain Letters/Emails ( Make Money Fast ) 1. Typing At Home / Data Entry (HUGE SCAM)I hope this helps you! Good Luck in your search!-Michelle

tinyurl.com/makethatcashThere are no start up fees or monthly membership fees, its easy work, a bit boring, and you don t have to use a credit/debit card or bank account information to receive payment.I have no account or cards and still get a check in the mail.I m a single mom myself of 2 and I know every little bit counts. Check it out give it month, flexible hours and the amount you earn is up to you.

Things I look for in a business are free or low cost to join, free or low cost to run, some level of training and/or support, a website or information on how to create one, and a simple duplicatable business success system. The company and people should support and train you because when you make money they make money. I really like businesses that can be run part time, from home, and online.

You can try something like www.alpineaccess.com There is no startup fee, but if you get hired you will have to pay for a background check and may have to get another phone line and some phone equipment. There are also places like www.kgb.com and www.chacha.com but they don t pay very well at all.Best bet is to work at home is to find a legit home based business with low startup cost.

What degrees and such do i need if i want to open my own clothing store? -

i want to open up something like an urban outfitters later in life. what degrees do i need and what would look good on my resume? where should i go to college?

I wanted to open my own business and someone told me to major in marketing. Marketing is the process of taking a product and selling it to the market and fulfilling the service of it. This was very helpful to me 20 years later. Famous management expert Peter Drucker said, business has only two functions, marketing and innovation. When you are in college you may want to take courses in retail and fashion also, but never forget, that at first you are a business owner. Business expert Michael Gerber said it best...Work on Your Business not In Your Business.Good Luck to You

if you would really like to open your own business, getting a degree in entrepreneurship is your best bet, but it all depends upon the school. you can legitimately open a business with almost any business degree, but administration, marketing, finance, and accounting would probably be the best ones for the kind of company you would want. outside of that, economics would work too.

Marketing, or more specifically fashion merchandising.

How can I specify my interests to start a home job?Can I make a website of my own for example? -

I m a housewife,raising a child.I really want to start a business at home.Anyone can really help me out?

You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies. You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job. These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as work at home because they would hear from too many unqualified people.

Spend some time talking to others who have gone before you....what other housewives are raising a child and managing a home business. What interests you? Home cleaning, concierge service, child care, tutoring, marketing, product sales, etc. Hit the library for What Color is Your Parachute, or review this website: http://www.entrepreneur.com/. some of the easiest home-based businesses involve multilevel marketing. Mary-Kay, Amway, Avon, Team National - take the time to look at them and see what interests you....Good luck, Bill

Can a PO Box in another town be my business legal address for my home business? -

I wanted to start a home business (selling junk on the internet), but I live in Philadelphia which has a business privilege tax. 6% tax on all profit. Plus Philadelphia has a 2% higher sales tax the the next county over. So, I thinking of getting a PO box or UPS Store Box outside Philadelphia and using it as my business address. Would this be legal?

ah....no. Your physical address is your business s legal address, doesn t matter where the mail is going to. When you fill out your tax returns at the end of the year and IF you claim a home office/storage deduction, it s going to ask where the office is located. When the PA state tax commission gets a copy of your federal tax returns, the jig will be up and you have to pay the difference plus penalties and interest.Keep in mind that that 6% is on your profit, not gross sales. Once you deduct the cost of your junk, the shipping, supplies, home office deduction, mileage, internet, losses, insurance, etc and so on, you ll probably see that the tax isn t that bad after all :)

How would u start a business in..? -

message therapy, if u wanted to do private practice?

Assuming you a licensed message therapist, of course... You first need a place to practice; unless you will travel to your clients - which by the way is a wonderful specialized service that isn t readily available these days. Then, you need to get the word out! Put a small ad in your local paper (must run atleast 3 times for people to even notice). Offer free messages to influencial people in your area. Word of mouth will travel quickly if you are good and offer a valued service. Hand your business card out to everyone you meet. NETWORK, NETWORK, NETWORK. Be professional at all times and get to know other practitioners in your area. Chiropractors, Accupuncturists, Kinesiologists, etc. You can even offer free coupon for 1/2 hr service to schools for Tricky Trays, etc.
