I know somebody who owns his own business and has empoyed a couple people who get paid under the table........? -

I know this guy who has his own pizza shop and he employed a couple people who get paid under the table, in other words they work full time and dont pay taxes. I also think a couple of them are illegal. I think its VERY illegal to work without papers and eveybody who works in America should pay taxes, so what should I do? Who should I call?

I suggest you speak to the owner of the pizza shop first, to present them with the opportunity to acknowledge their mistake and correct their actions, before you head to the authorities.

So, the people who work should pay for the people who do not work. How about the people who consume the taxes pay the taxes. Much better system. Anyway, how would you know this information unless you worked for the guy? Otherwise you would not know for sure. By your logic, if I think you are doing something illegal in your house, like recording NFL games without express written permission, because copywrite laws are VERY important to Brett Farve, I should call the cops, and swear out a complaint. Call the attorney general, or the IRS, or open your own pizza place and see how many taxes the government asks for before you ever see a dime.

You could report them to the IRS.Keep in mind that you may be ruining the employees lives in your quest to get back at the business owner. Wouldn t you be better off just staying out of it?Besides, it is possible that the employees *are* paying taxes, in the form of self-employment taxes. That would be perfectly legal if they re paying their taxes this way.

Report them to the IRS, or Police, or maybe just leave them alone, I mean, even George W Bush stealed the government mony.
