Me and a friend are looking into buying some land, building, opening, and operating an indoor shooting range on it. What are the procedures followed to do so? I ve looked online to find a site for this, but can t seem to find the right thing. Anyone know how or a site with the proper procedures?

While there are probably some basic things like EPA compliance and such that are common, I m sure VA will have it s own set of rules and laws. A better place to address this question might be vagunforum.net or possibly at the mdshooters forums as there people there which are somewhat familiar with VA laws and such.There s a pretty good chance someone at either place would have a better idea than the average Y!A user. Why should they buy from you? What s the most compelling reason for them to switch from their existing supplier? Price is rarely a motivator. It can come into it but it s more likely to be to do with the quality of the product, the presentation of it, whether it s customised for them at no extra cost and the quanities they have to order.Pick up a copy of the Caterer and find out who s promoting what there. Your local library should have a copy.Visit some of the hospitality trade shows and ask the organisers about what it costs to exhibit there. Don t take on a stand without visiting the show first. (We did this with Spring Fair a few years ago.)Some B B s and guesthouses just buy what s available at the cash and carry. If they only have 3 rooms with 70% occupancy, at best, they re not going to be big business. Work out the size of establishment that would be worth your while taking on as a client and target them.Good luck!

You set your plan nicely. So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and grab them. But why will they buy your product while they are already using another best products in the market. Do not disappoint. As you are going to be new there, so offer them your products with cheap rates or free complimentary products. Let them enjoy it on your Cost price first. I am sure your product gonna be much better than others (competitors). Once they use, they will buy again.

people just opening a buisness will be very strapped for cash. will they have enough to hire a consultant?? maybe you should write a book with a ton of good tips in it and make a web site advertising the book and also sell it on ebay. see how it goes. you may then offer consulting if any super rich people open a day care and contact you for more info. as for web sites contact a computer nerd from the phone book or try homestead.com they are pretty inexpensive and you do it yourself
