How can a 14 year old earn some extra money in the UK!? -

Hi guys well christmas is coming up and i know its recession time so most people are cutting back but i need to get my parents and family christmas presents.. does any one have any ideas on how i can get a bit of extra money. I ve asked my local newsagents for a paper round but they said someone is already doing it at the moment and that he ll get back to me when they don t do it anymore but as far as im concerned that could be years away! and i used to do a fair bit of babysitting for my parents friends but they don t seem to go out any more haha! Thanks guys!

There are a lot of sites out there offering various kinds of work from home jobs. While you might be aware that almost 90% of such sites are spam and most people get the opinion that such sites do not exist, the truth is there are a lot of sites where people do make good amount of money. If you are still interested in some of these legit work at home leads, you might want to take a look at the below listed links......

How can i tell my friend i cant babysit? -

today my friend asked me to babysit because they are going to a wild party tomorrow but me and my husband planned to do some business that night what should i tell her

Just tell her you can t, that you re busy that night. It s pretty simple.

You shouldn t compromise your evening if you already had plans. If she s a good friend, she won t get ticked if you decline. If saying no makes you uncomfortable, you could always bring a few available babysitters you know of to the conversation, and offer her some options besides you.Good luck! Have fun with your... business. ;)

Start off cooly, like oh I might... I might be able to... let s see.... Then after (you know you really can t) just make up a GOOD excuse and give reasons- always give reasons (more persuasive). Apologise and then do a Maybe next time...I might be able to....just not today...

Something came up. If you cannot watch the baby, then you cannot watch the baby! Do NOT feel like you are obligated to babysit, it s their baby not yours.

do business while you babysit. you can do business any time. babysit.

Very simple. You need to tell her that you had other plans. The best time to have done this was when she first asked but the sooner the better.

Tell her, I m so sorry but me and my husband have planned some things that night, is there anyone else you can get?

oh god. babysit. its not gonna kill you, you ll get other chances to do some business.

I would just tell her your situation. If she s a good friend, she ll understand why you can t babysit.

What did you say when she asked you?Why couldn t you just say Sorry, I can t. ?

that your bussy but also tell her a friend that maybe could baby sit???

tell her you re busy and you cant babysit...

sorry, we have plans.

that you cant?

Hi I own my own business and I am now looking to open a barber shop in CT. I know you have to be licensed,? -

but I will be partnering up with someone else and will be renting out the chairs. I have a budget already to start up but need to know everything that is needed by the State law so I can get the green light to begin? I am not asking anyone here if i should open a shop so please do not give me your opinion. Ijust want to know what is needed. Thank you!

Well besides business licensing, and possible legal formation or fictitious name statements, tax regulations, etc. Which these you should know about already. There are some things related to health issues and professional licenses that the state requires for barber shops. So i don t know if this link will help. But good luck.http://www.cga.ct.gov/2007/pub/Chap386.h

What would be better taking pre-law/ finance and business or singing and acting? -

how many jobs are there available in singing and acting versus the number of jobs in law, in finance and in business.Your question is like a young child saying I don t need to go to school, I m going to be in the NBA and make millions . If you want to chance your future on a low odds roll of the dice feel free to pursue singing and acting. I suggest you do both. Go to school and see if you can get jobs singing and acting. Take drama classes, appear in plays, sing for a band, etc. If you get discovered and make it , all the better that you have an education to back you up. Look at Nicholas Cage and the millions he lost because he had to trust someone else to make important decisions for him, because he wasn t smart enough to make them for himself.Knowledge will always be power.

I grew up playing music. I started playing guitar at 15. I loved it, and still do. I spent just about every spare moment in highschool playing with other musicians and playing coffee house shows. When it came time for college, I decided not to pursue music and to go for a real degree.Today, I have a real job, and it pays well, but I regret my decision. I m still in a band with some talented musicians, each of whom has a day job. But I also have friends that are professional musicians and producers, people with jobs I never really even knew existed until I had already graduated from college.Just about every city in America has a theater group. Many churches pay their vocalists. If you go even further and study your craft, you ll do even better. Do what you LOVE to do, what you really enjoy.Pre-law, finance and business classes or school are expensive, and would almost certainly require you doing that work for a number of years to pay off the loans. Is that what you want? If you like to sing and act, find a way to make it happen. Join SAG and start auditioning for commercials, for both TV and radio locally. The work is out there, if you re willing to find it and work for it.Good luck!

Both are tough occupations and diametrically opposed in levels of satisfaction. What will leave you the most satisfied and fulfilled? A lot of people get into occupations just to make money but aren t happy and end up regretting not giving their true passion a try. I am one of those that worked as a legal assistant for years but didn t follow my passion of music and although I regret it, I have also come to terms with it and found that I did in fact love working in law. If I were you I would talk to professionals or teachers in both fields to give you food for thought.

pre-law there will always be crime in America.

pre law. Almost no one can make a living singing or acting.
