What and how, Car Valet? -

Hey guys, looking to make a bit of money to save up for my car, and ofcourse its insurance. Looking to do this after school and at weekends, was thinking of offering both a car wash and a full valet separetely. So down to my question, how much should i charge? What equipment would i ned for a full valet? Also anything else you deem necesary to add would be well appriciated thank you very much for reading.

Vacuum cleaner and all the other cleaning gear such as window cleaner and polishes. You d also need extension leads.Without liability insurance you d be taking a hell of a chance - one small tear to the head-liner or something like that and you re in big trouble.

Whats a good business to start? -

Hey i am a university student and i am very eager to start my own business but i am unsure as to what i can do. I just wanted to get some ideas on business that i can start that have a huge potential for expansion in the future. All feedback will be appreciated thanks.

Pimping is pretty much recession proof..Or open a Subway franchise.

really depending on where you are located and what popular around there. would not reccomend food. but car audio is good. computer business is always good. depending on what you are good at takes a big tole

if your wanting to go in to franchise business I would recommend Little Caesars Pizza. Relatively cheaper to start then most franchises with an already very well known name. Has a simpler setup.

I would like to start up a domestic cleaning business is it a good idea? -

Any advice and tips welcome.

Hi! I clean small offices but have friends who do residential cleaning. I m not sure where you live, I m in the USA. The real key to any cleaning business is to target potential customers who can afford to hire a cleaner and need one. Also, remember many times people aren t happy with the cleaning they have but either don t know where to look for a new one or are too busy.First, sit down and make a list of why you are better-or superior-to other cleaning businesses. Use that list to make a nice flier and business cards. Put these where your target customers might go and see them...gyms, country clubs, specialty shops. You may want to call around and get quotes for liability insurance-the smallest amount you can get. The price varies a lot, but it is a great selling tool.I have lots more tips and resources for you on my Squidoo lens and blog. The links are in My Profile.Good Luck!!!

Start a cleaning business is not that difficult, however running a profitable business is much more challenging.Starting a business in a down market is great fora variety of reasons:1.) It forces you to be really lean, diligent and efficient. These disciplines will aid you greatly if you stick to them as when the market turns around.2.) Cleaning(with the exception of carpet and duct-work cleaning) have very low overhead and fixed expenses. So, this is the type of business I would start in a recession.3.) While many people are cutting back, many people are now having to go to move from single income streams to dual income streams. Thus, people have less time to spend cleaning and the like. So, they would rather spend a little bit of money in order to free up their time to spend with friends and families. So, yes it is always a great time to start a business. However, starting a business is not a trivial endeavor. Make sure you have thought all of the responsibilities that go along with providing a service for a fee.For example, how are you going to charge? When do people have to pay.How much to you have to charge in order to generate a profit ?How much is it going to cost to run your business: Taxes, licenses, liability insurance, incorporation, accounting and book keeping, sales and marketing, promotion and advertising etc.

No, it is rubbish, i tried it before, hardly anyone apart from old grannies want there houses cleaned you ll only be earning about 100/week if you have to pay a team then your screwed

I would wait until the recession is over. That is a luxury that many people are cutting out.

yeah okay then, no advice or tips just.... yeah okay then

Which name do you prefer for a lifestyle management company? -

Novikko or Stiletto? It s an event management *** modeling agency.

Stiletto sounds like it would be a nude/topless model agency, not lifestyle/event modeling. Novikko is going to be difficult for people to remember and know how to spell it - and you want people to be able to find your website easily. What about Nova - easy to pronounce, spell and remember

Stiletto is somewhat sexist (I mean most people will associate that term with very high heels worn by outlandishly dressed dominatrix types) I guess if you want to be neutral - Novikko!
