If you won at a bidding on Ebay, is it possible to cancel buying the item? -

i haven t paid yet. what will happen?

The seller will file a nonpaying bidder claim against you. If you collect too many of these claims, then your account will be cancelled. If you pay the listing fee, then the seller probably won t file this against you. However, you need to write the seller promptly and ask if you can pay the fee.In the future, don t bid on something unless you re absolutely sure that you want it and can pay for it. Bid only if you intend to pay.

How much should I charge a business for setting up social media for them? -

A couple of businesses have asked me to help them get set up with Facebook, Linked In, Twitter, and so on. I don t have any idea what would be a fair price and what services and prices to offer / charge to update them. I would appreciate some practical suggestions. Thanks!

If your doing this work for pay then you are considered a business. You must have a business license and you must pay all federal, state, county and city taxes, associated these. Don t forget to get liability insurance to protect your self should you get sued! This income must be reported on your annual tax statement.$18.00 - $25.00 dollars and hour is common charged made by professionals.

I would like to start a small cheesecake business? -

What are some of my assets i will need to acquire to start my business? How can i go about obtaining credit?

It appears that you have never been in business before, therefore, I would strongly recommend that you talk to a business counselor before you do anything especially spend money. You have to determine whether you ll start a web based business or one with a store front. I d call the local office of SCORE (go to http://www.score.org and input your zip code to find the chapter nearest you), the advice is FREE. The counselor at SCORE will most likely advise you to write a business plan which is very good advice because it will force you to dig out all of the start up details and the costs of starting a small business and force you to also understand all of the aspects of this business including the customers you ll concentrate on (your market) and how you ll go after them. You ll need to register the business with your state controller s office and make sure that you check to see whether any city and county licenses are needed where you live. All of this will come out in a business plan.Try linking to YCHANGE International and read some of the articles especially the ones about a business plan and starting a business.

We want to create a hangout for local teens? -

This is a little hard to explain. My friend and I live in an area where there is very little to do if you re under 21 and even less if you re under 18. We want to open a place where teens can just come and hangout. There would be video games, movies, wifi and we were thinking of selling clothes by designer friends and tickets to concerts in the area as well as food and drinks all night of course. We d like to make it a no cover charge on regular nights but we were thinking of having local bands play shows a few times a week and having maybe a $5-10 cover for those nights. So basically my questions is, has anyone ever done anything like this? What type of space would be best? How do we go about getting started? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

that place sounds so cool

sounds cool. have it close to a popular place like a mall. or maybe near the school so after school they hang out study and stuff. bands are tricky. i wouldnt get bands untill it gets popular enough or else your losing money.

PETITIONFIND SOMEONE WILLING TO SPONSOR THIS

I used to go to a place like this when I was a teenager. They had live bands all the time. A lot of the bands were garage style and made up of high schoolers or college age members. There were also snacks and a star bucks like assortment of coffee and espresso drinks. You will need to look up what type of permits are required and how to meet he fire code etc. I would think your best bet would be the cheapest place you can lease for an affordable price. The one I went to was in a down town area.

Interested in starting a free daycare? -

I just had a thought about starting a daycare that would be free. the head start programs in my area are income based and my own children are too young for school right now but daycare is too expensive for us. Im sure Im not the only parent with this issue. So Any ideas, websites, suggestions on starting a free daycare in my area?

It s a nice idea and yes, you ll likely have tons of people wanting to drop their little snookems off at your door. Here s the big problem with your free idea:If you can t afford day care fees, how are you setup to handle legal ones? All it will take is one parent claiming you fed their child something that made them sick (even if you didn t) or that their child has a bruise that wasn t there when they dropped them off at your home to get you shut down and possibly facing jail time. You won t believe how fast - the state health department, child protective services, and your local police will become your new live-in friends. And that s just the beginning of what will go wrong.Do you live in a house or an apartment? A private residence has special requirements to operate as a daycare center. Apartments normally have in the lease that no business can be operated out of a unit. Better check that too.If you want to watch your friend s kids, fine. But don t advertise yourself as a business because you ll have to go through all the legal regulations to do so.

That is really nice, and nothing in life is free anymore so I m sure you would be overwhelmed with people trying to enroll their child create some flyers, or put an ad in your local newsletter/newspaper and watch how many people contact you...

aww thats nice :]
