What is a business that specializes in packaging and shipping goods to customers? -

For example, I am currently trying to set up a way to sell products to customers online. Is there a company that accepts products, such as apparel, straight from the manufacturer and then package and ship the goods to customers as needed?

I would try www.shipalliance.com 800-684-6359. I have had great success with them packing shippinng.

it sounds like you need a courier of some sort.as far as i know you would need to send the product to the courier when you get it from the supplier.if you are the supplier then i still can t think of any business that will package the item for you. most will simply offer to pick it up for you and take it to wherever you want it to go.i have not heard of a business that packages things for other businesses then sends them to places, perhaps you have a good business idea right there.

The ultimate company is Amazon which does fulfillment and handles your orders for you however it will cost you and will cut in your profit margin. The upside is that the company has a huge warehouse with robots and works 24X7 everyday of the year. Good luck!

How can I earn some quick cash? -

Okay well I m saving up for an xbox 360 elite and please, don t tell me to get the white one because it s cheaper okay. Well my goal is to get it during christmas break because everything goes on sale during christmas and my parents won t get me one because they said I don t need it. I have a wii and it sucks, I hate the graphics and I regret getting it sometimes, but some games are pretty good for it, but the xbox and PS3 are the top leading consoles, they have all the good games and they can do so much more than the wii, also I have an PS3, and don t tell me I don t need an xbox cuz I have a PS3 and a wii already, cuz I get that crap all the time, and the xbox has some of my favorite games that no other console has like halo which is on my top five best game list, so I really want it bad, and here are some things I can t do to get cash. 1. I can t sell stuff on the internet, because my mom won t let me, and I ve begged my mom a 100 times, so don t bother convincing her.2. I can t do babysitting for babies and animals.3. I can t do cleaning services because my parents say I m to young to be at a strangers house. So if you could tell me any other ideas that could get me a decent amount of cash, it would be a big help for me.

Amazon has a site you can make money at https://www.mturk.com/mturk/welcome People pay you through Amazon to click links and make forum comments and things like that.

if you don t want the PS3, sell it. You can have a yard sale, or go to consignment shop. A yard sale is a good idea, even if you re selling other things.

I would suggest you have a garage sale.

be a hooker. you ll be rolling in the dough in no time.

How to sell things on Ebay.? -

Hi,I m interested in learning how to sell items on ebay. As this involves credit cards and paypal for example, im pretty confused. Ive read alot of things on the net and nobody seems to have my answers.Ive set up a paypal account with my credit card. And ive made some purchases on ebay. What i want to know is:Is there something i have to pay for or enable on paypal to accept other people s payment? Can you please explain how it works, like when someone purchases an item, do you get their address to mail it?Should I also go to the post office and get a price on the postage of the items i want to sell? Please help, i know this is a bit of a long question. Thanks, Aidan.

im pretty confused. Ive read alot of things on the net and nobody seems to have my answers. There was a Waylon Jennings song once about, Looking for love in all the wrong places. You ve been looking for answers in all the wrong places. Here s your answers with links to all the right places. I m interested in learning how to sell items on ebay Tips for successful sellinghttp://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/seller-t And ive made some purchases on ebay. So you ve been on the site and bought things that appealed to you. Think about what made you make your buying decision. As this involves credit cards... You already have an eBay ID, To create a buyers account you ll need a credit card to verify your identity. Also, select eBay checkout for your buyers and how you ll pay for your seller s fees.http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/seller_a Is there something i have to pay for or enable on paypal to accept other people s payment? Yes, your Personal PayPal account will have to be upgraded to a Premier account; no charge for the upgrade. But the cost for each sale is 30 cents plus 2.9% of the total including shipping.https://www.paypal.com/helpcenter/main.j do you get their address to mail it? You will get a confirmed buyer s address through PayPal. If you ship anywhere else, you will not be protected by PayPal s Seller Protection Program! You can start selling safely and inexpensively on eBay by taking five easily-mailed items from your closet, garage or basement that you no longer want, but think might sell. Take a picture of each (if you don t have a digital camera, borrow one).http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/insertioYou can list five Single quantity Auction-Style listings with no upgrades with FREE insertion fees every 30 days. Only a Single picture for each and as long a description as you want. Set the starting bid for the lowest you ll accept and if they don t sell, you PAY NOTHING.http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/fvf.htmlIf any sell, the most you ll pay in Final Value fees.is 8.75% of the sale price. Should I also go to the post office and get a price on the postage of the items i want to sell? Determine correct postage in advance and ALWAYS include Delivery Confirmation on any sold items when you ship with the USPS (Post Office). It adds less than $1 to the postage and is your ONLY protection against item not received claims.http://postcalc.usps.gov/http://www.usps.com/shipping/deliveryconFive plain, single item auctions a month is an easy way to get your feet wet on eBay. You can do that every 30 days until you re comfortable with eBay, PayPal and your Post Office. Start with everything that s easily mailed and work your way from there. Don t expect to make a fortune. Please help, i know this is a bit of a long question. Naw Aidan, don t mind a bit. Hope you don t mind long answers, I added some additional information.

Aidan you are already about there. Before you list an item for sale you will also have to know the size and weight of the box. During the listing process you will be asked about which shipper you want to use (UPS or USPS), and you will also be asked for the size and weight. After you have entered that info, ebay will calculate if for your buyers. As far as getting payment from your customer, require immediate payment through paypal once they are the winning bid. This is also something ebay asked you during the listing process. It is fairly easy and after you do a couple, you will be a pro, lol. If you would happen to make a mistake during the process, you can always delete the item.I hope you sell lots of stuff!

Do I need a business license to pass out business cards? -

I am an aspiring freelance makeup artist and would like to get more clients. I have done a few weddings and photo shoots for friends and stuff but I want to make this a small business someday. I made some business cards to get me going but I was told that it could be illegal if I pass them out (advertise) without a business license. Is this true?

Advertising without a license isn t illegal, but running a business without one is. Check with your city and county on whether or not you have to have a business license. In many places if you make under a certain amount it is considered a hobby and you are not required to have a license. Also check with your state to see if you need to be licensed to be a makeup artist.

No, one has nothing to do with the other.
