I run a small training business. Is there such a thing where you can get a company to do telesales for you? -

That is I am spending a lot of time managing the business and actually training. I really want someone to focus on setting up appointments but can t quite afford a full time sales person on salary. Any suggestions?

You could hire a freelancer that fits your needs. check out Elance.com

Self -employed Can i register my trading name for free uk? -

Hi i have been self employed for 6 months can i register my trading name ie the name i use on my van for free I have done a search in my area there is no one with same name I m a self employed joiner any info will be great

Technicially, the only way you will be able to register your business is by incorporating your business into a company. It would be best to discuss this with an accountancy firm, using expected annual profits and proposed tax rates. You can set up a company yourself:http://www.stanleydavis.co.uk/company-foWould cost you around 40.As a self-employed sole trader, your first 40k of profits is taxed at 20% + 11.8% National Insurance, Anything over 40k is taked at 40% and anything above 150k is taked at 50%.With a company, the companys profits are taxed at 21% (up to 300k) As you can see, depending onyour profit levels, it may be a taxable benefit to set up a company.

How do I get retail stores to carry a nutritional supplement I designed and had manufactured? -

Hi Everyone! I have really been thinking about making my own nutritional supplement. I have been an athlete my whole life and want to create something that is tailored to what myself and my teammates feel is important as far as supplements go. The problem is, while I have a company lined up to manufacture my product and I am working on getting incorporated, I have no idea how to get my product out to the market. I have never worked at a vitamin store or health food store (just retail clothing!) so I don t know what their process is as far as agreeing to carry some one s product. I really feel that its a great idea, but I am so nervous to go ahead with having it manufactured because I don t know how to approach the store owners or how I will get it out to the public. If anyone works for a vitamin or health food store and knows how the process works, I would really really appreciate any feedback you have and how I could get a store interested in carrying my product and would it be totally impossible to do that given all the huge brands that currently offer products through these stores. Thank you so much!!!!

Hiring based on lookS? -

do you think hiring based on looks is unfair to hard workers ? especially those unemployed person because of recession?

Yes, it s unfair. But that s the way it has been and always will be. There s no objective way to discipline a company because they hire people with better looks over skilled workers. One personal example in my life was that I had 10 years of experience at my job and was really good at it - the department did need a new worker and the manager hired a blonde bimbo and she got my shift and I got put back down to a worse shift. She didn t know what the ***** she was doing (sorry about the language). Her and the manager had an affair (they were both married). Freakin ridiculous - but you can t really do anything about it.
