Music help: Business ideas? -

I want to start my own small record label. I was thinking about doing a digital label, or online based record label. And promote my artists using guerrilla marketing through a street team. Pass out flyer s at colleges, barber shops, clubs/venues, basketball courts, shopping malls...etc. The problem is, I need at least 2 other people. One to handle the booking and another with promoting. Do you know where I should search to find like minded individuals?

Best of luck with the new venture. If I were you I would seek out people with experience. You could start online in music business forums but it wouldn t be a bad idea to take informational meetings with local club owners and promoters and see if either they themselves would be up for collaboration or if they have friends or peers who might be a good fit.

Work from home ! have you got any ideas like assembly, stuffing envelopes,or? -

You need to send your resume out to real jobs you are qualified to do. In your cover letter you need to state that you wish to work remotely, from your home office. LOTS of companies, especially in CA operate this way. They usually provide transportation for you to come in for an interview and for you to attend company meetings a few times a year, but otherwise everything is done online.

if you are referring to ads that tell you you can make money stuffing envelopes etc. it is a scamyou have to buy mailing lists, none less than $75 and it will cost you something to get into their system, all of which is non refundable if it doesn t work out

Forget all of the above. You could try one of the well established companies like Avon or Kleeneze etc but most of the assembly/envelope stuffing ones are scams.

All of the ones you mention are scams.
