Music help: Business ideas? -

I want to start my own small record label. I was thinking about doing a digital label, or online based record label. And promote my artists using guerrilla marketing through a street team. Pass out flyer s at colleges, barber shops, clubs/venues, basketball courts, shopping malls...etc. The problem is, I need at least 2 other people. One to handle the booking and another with promoting. Do you know where I should search to find like minded individuals?

You could start online in music business forums but it wouldn t be a bad idea to take informational meetings with local club owners and promoters and see if either they themselves would be up for collaboration or if they have friends or peers who might be a good fit.
