Selling goods for other people - legal rights? -

I recently began selling a quantity of items for someone but soon realised the quality wasn t good and didn t want to continue. I told them this and told them to arrive and collect the money I d made for them plus their remaining goods on a certain day. They arrived a day early when I was out. For the next 2 months I have tried to arrange a pick up and payment but it hasn t worked out and now they are annoyed at me for having to wait so long! I am now busy until the 18th of December and asked them to come and see me then. However they are up in arms about having to wait. Am I within my rights to stick to that date for pick up and payment? What legal rights could they bring against me? Many thanks

I certainly hope you made a copy of the correspondance stating when they could pick up their crap. Were they there on the day of the pre-arranged appointment? NO they came the wrong day and that is NOT your problem. If their stuff is being stored on your property it may be yours now. Check with a local attorney most first visits are free and if the property has been in your posession for 60 days past when they wre to pick it up in most states you are free to dispose of it however you see fit. Pick up that phone. Lawyer will let you know if there is a case or not.

I really want a job but I dont know what kind of job to llok for and where to look for it.

You could babysit, be a paperboy (or girl)... when I was that age there were options to do odd jobs around the neighborhood, ie: mow lawns, snow blow, etc. I put out an advertisement that reached out to the older community and I would help with gardening or even cleaning out houses. I believe in most states it s not legal to obtain a work permit until you are 15, so you are going to have to find jobs that pay cash.

You are thirteen, i.e. you must be studying in class 8. It s not advisable for you to start working at such an early age. You may spoil your future which you are not able to visualise now.But still there are ways around. You can work in a nearby book shop where you can still read for some time. Remember study is very important. Think of a bright future. Take care.

At 13 if you re now, the best job you can have is to look after your school and education, maybe in the summer holidays you can do the paper round, or help someone with his/her shopping etc.

paper round and any family job really. if your lucky you can get a job in local shops but because you cant go on contract they will just rip you off with pay and working hours. anyway at your age i wouldn t suggest working.

you can be a babysitter or you could face paint for people at the mall or church or something like that.try these things!

Dont know much about it, but there is someone I found in Chennai, a retired Govt Official, he was cheated and he complained a lot, I wonder how it is possible to get a job of 25000/- without going to office or hard work, world would have been a nice place if it was real,try some luck if you find any...
