Why are some grocery stores open 24/7? -

For the convenience of the customers. Some people are night owls or are up extremely early for work and sometimes regular store hours just don t cut it. For most of the larger stores, it s actually not a very significant increase in staff needed. A lot of the stores already had stock boys working the floors stocking the shelves late a night (too busy to do so during the day), and the bakery folks are in around 4 or 5am to start the day s baking anyway.
