Someone must know how to solve this!? -

We run a small construction company and do a lot of work for insurance company s, for example. If the clients house gets damaged either for fire or vandalism we send out our builders to access the damage and they video the damage as well. This is where the problem appears the videos are too large they range from 10m all the way up to 50g, so we then compress the video files. This leads to poor sound quality and jump and starting play back, no good. How can we create a report for the clients and have a movie playback for them with the appropriate footage and not take ages to download.?Can we build our reports in word and insert the movies and then send to the client? As there is a option to create a web page in office but I would have no idea on where to go from there, so if any one has some tips please help.

Sure, Ill do your homework. :DWell, If the client has these damages from fire (ect..) there is no needed for audio. Cutting audio would allow more footage to be viewed. Also, Videos arent 100% needed, pictures are perfect as well. If videos are highly required I suggest getting a VSH recorder for the footages (seriously). These VSHs could be used for backs-ups for a small business only. If the video was recorded it could be compressed into a .WMA (File types: http://www.fileinfo.com/filetypes/video) Compressing the file will make the file smaller and easy to access. You might also want to look into bigger hard drives. If the videos are to much for a database (being stored on the computer) you could invest in Portable ThumDrives. This would be good for a small business. Only for a small business : )The websites Online streaming will be important. And servers will be needed. Invest in servers 2 keep the files, thus, when these files are needed the embedded video from the site will be viewable from the servers. Talk about HD? Some more $$$ will totally be needed.-This would be a rough draft of my report to the teacher : )GoodLuck!

I m not too literate with this stuff but it sounds like the format your recording in is a bit too detailed. What type of files does it output? .mpg? .mov? 50gigs is rather large. I have movies in great quality, 3 hours long that are 500mb so that only leads me to believe there is room for improvement on your compression ratios.

How about just using still images in stead?

Jobs for 11 year olds? -

I need money and bad,MY MOM KEEPS SAYING NEED MONEY?GET A JOB!!!! IM TRYING BUT NOOOOO!!!!! can yall help me PLZ!!!!!P.S,NO CORNY JOBS!!!!!

Wow. Those other answers were obviously advertisements. People are so stupid.Unfortunately, being only eleven years old, you don t have many options. You can t get a real job due to child labor laws. Here are some options you might want to consider though. Sorry if they seem corny.BabysittingHousesittingPetsittingCar WashingLawn MowingSnow shovelingGardening/weedingHouse cleaningPaper routePut an ad in your local paper and on Craigslist.com. Make an ad on the computer and post it on bulletin boards at churches, grocery stores, and community centers. If there is something that you can do from the above list, advertise yourself for that. Otherwise, if you re willing to take on any odd jobs for the money, try something like this: Hardworking, honest 11 year old is looking for work. Lawnmowing, shoveling, raking, housework, or anything you might have. Call 999-1243-4567 and ask for Shannon. You d be surprised how many people will take you up on that. Make sure to mention if you have a bike or if you have reliable transportation. (Like your parent/friend.)Good luck! I hope this helps.

How Do I Go About Doing A Bit Of Modeling Just For Some Extra Money? -

It s not something I m looking to make a career out of. I ve been told a couple times I should model and I was approached by a model scout when I was 14(im now 21). It would be something different to do I currrently woek but would love to put myself out there for something else. Please let me know where I should begin, and I already know I should be getting paid not paying money to agencies.

Start with your local phone book. Look under Modeling Agencies. Then call and make appointments. What you need to look out for is these Modeling SCHOOLS who require you to pay all this money to take classes and then they claim to place you in jobs afterwards. If you don t plan to take classes then you need to find agencies, not schools. REAL AGENCIES never charge you to do anything. There are scams out there who claim to be agencies but after they pump up your ego then they slam you with things like sign up fees or pay 300.00 to get your photos done, etc. . Again REAL AGENCIES DON T COST ANY MONEY. THEY MAKE MONEY OFF OF BOOKING YOU FROM THE CLIENT.If you don t live in a major state like CA, NY where modeling is big, it may be more challenging. Next, you can always do a Google search for modeling agencies out of your home state. Elite Models and other agencies may be looking for models. But again if you don t really have experience you may want to stay local. You should watch Tara Banks America s Next Top Model on TV and see what models go through. I s not all about a pretty face. YOu have to have some real talent to present certain looks. Then decide what type of modeling. Print model, runway modeling, commercial modeling. They all require a differen tlook. But most agencies will tell YOU what look you have. You will need a portfolio. A portfolio of your photos is needed so that agencies can see what you look like in print. Go to a photograher who is used to photographing models for portfolios so you can get the best shots. These can be expensive and run anywhere from 100 to thousands. Then you ll need Comp Cards which is basically a headshot on one side and 2 or 3 other picures on the back side of a paper. Some agencies just require and black and white headshot with a resume. I recommend you go to the library or bookstore and first read up on modeling and how to get into it before you spend any money. There are sharks out there who take advantage of young girls who are dumb about the modeling world. They will tell you how pretty and perfect you are for modeling, create a few business cards to make themselves look professional and next thing you know you standing in front of a pervert who wants you to take your clothes off. They know how desperate people are to get into the industry.Good luck!

Starting a business at age 15? -

I have the opportunity to start a business free of rent at age 15. It would be a ceramics painting party place, and I would be lent the money to start up. Do you think this would be too difficult at my age? What sort of tips would you have for someone who was starting their own business?

Wow! When you have your parents backing you at your age, you must be a very special person. They must see your ability and feel you are ready to start learning all aspects of running a business. What a great opportunity. As for tips: understand every aspect of your business including setting up a financial plan, how to give the best customer service and always look for new ways to expand and market your business. Decide where you want to be with the business in 1 year, 3 years and 5 years. A true entrepreneur has vision not just skill. Also, contact your local Small Business Administration (SBA). They have all types of workshops and information to help better your business.Good luck! I can t think of a better gift than the one your family is giving you.

You are able to become a confident sole-trader if you are able to take risks and if you are good at working independently, if you have a good feeling about starting the business up then go for it but you have to be aware that you are entitled to unlimited liability (meaning that if the business can t pay for itself, then you can have your personal possessions taken off of you) If you have the determination, belief and motivation, anything is possible! Good Luck!

while I started several biz before i was of legal age, they were watched over like a hawk byparents --with my blessing. This was ages before the iinternet.YOU cannot borrow money legally from anyone......and you may not make any agreementsor contracts with anyone for 3 more years.for now, stick to car washing, animal caring, errand running.

Listings fee on ebay? -

I just put up stuff for auction on ebay and I payed $2 for listing one of them..I was wondering in case I wanted to cancel the item listing later would I still have to pay the $2 and also in case I re-list it again would I get charged

Unfortunately.. Listing fees are nonrefundable in FEEBAY .. if you cancelled the item, still you have to pay this fees $2.00 .. for re-listing, only once, and they charge you again $2.00 for re-listing (Without any change to the price) .. the only way to get the re-listing fees back is for item to sell this time.... if your item didn t sell, then they charge you the listing fees and the re-listing fees .. total of $4.00 at least . This is FEEBAY.. Good luck and have a great day..

Generally, listing fees are non-refundable, so if you cancel the listing, you will be out the 2 bucks. If your item doesn t sell, you can re-list it (once) with no additional fee, but you cant increase the original listing price? Well you can increase it, but they wont waive the fee on the re-list. eBay is very tight when it comes to refunding any fees that are paid to them. If you email them and tell them you made an error and didn t mean to list the item, its possible they will give you the listing fee back...but they will only do that like once in your lifetime!

Would you rather work 10-12 hours at home or 8 at a regular job? -

I have a new job that will let me work from home if it works out. Hours may get long some days, where I will be working on the computer, sometimes long hours into the night. I have to freedom to set my own hours often though, and can do things at my own pace, while being in the comfort of my own home. I will have to figure out what to do about not having a company health plan though. I should make good money after the company gets going in a few months. Would you choose this opportunity or a normal job paying 27k a year? I hope to double that doing this. Thanks!

work at home you make more money and don t have to fight traffic good luck.

12 hours can be rough if its solid. But if you already work an 8 hour day, just think about all the time you spend getting ready for work, commuting to work, taking breaks, and commuting back again. By the time you get up and ready and get back and settled again, I d bet it s at least 10 hours right there.

Work at home, do it

8 at work... less time.. question answered

am studying, so i wil b at colage for 7 hours

It is good idea to apply job at direct company website? -
