Question about selling things on ebay (shipping)? -

say someone wins the auction and i get the email with there adress. i have a flat rate box from the post office. how to i print a shipping label? if i bring it to the post office will they do it for me?

You can print it on your own home printer, or you can just write the address on the box with a pen or a marker. There s no specific label that you *must* use.

What dies start up capital mean.? -

please help i am really cofussed i have looked on the internet and i dont understand help please :)

Start-up CapitalFinance for young companies which have not yet sold their product commercially. In other words, the money the owners invested to start up the company. Used for securing a place of business (rent or purchase), the build out (renovation) of that place, purchase of materials (manufacturing) or inventory, equipment (office, manufacturing, etc), etc. etc. before they actually begin operations.

capital means money...so the comment says, you need money to start your business with . Usually that s money that s come from your own pocket, money you have earned from a former job.It could also refer to to places you d ask for a loan to start your business with but in that case those who will be lending you that money will require that you have part money from your pocket to show that you are truly interested in starting that business and that you have the focus to make it a real business and intend to (and do) make a profit from doing it.

Hi thereStart up capital is the amount of money you have or need to start a business with. It will always depend on the type of business you want to start.

it just means startup money and in some context it can be assumed to be start up money from angel or venture capitalist companies

Need help to understand a phrase in a book about social entrepreneurs? -

I read the following phrase in a book about Social Entrepreneurship. It says it s one of the characteristics of a social entrepreneur. Can anybody please explain to me what it means? It goes like this Know that all resource allocations are really stewardship investments . Is it trying to say that however way the entrepreneur is allocating his resources (money, manpower, assets etc) is really a way of him being better at managing (hence stewardship investment ) in the long run?

I thought it meant that investments should be treated as a means to an end - rather than the end themselves.
