Any legit homework jobs out there without costly start up fees? -

Single mom of 3, looking for legit home based work. Been scammed so many times.

I know there are a lot of scams out there so be careful! Dont listen to the people though who say they are ALL scams. They are not actually ALL scams, just a lot of them are! LOL! In fact Yahoo Finance says that for every 1 legitimate home based opportunity there are 57 scams! At any rateI am actually a nurse and I love working outside the home but I know a lot of people want or need to work from home. About 2 years ago my sister finally found a legitimate company thats been in business for 20 years. I dont know too much about it but shes been doing it for 2 years now, about 20 hours a week and she makes about $40,000 a year. I know its legit because they have dozens of fortune 500 partners, they are members of the US Chamber of Commerce and of course, Ive seen her paychecks, LOL! She says she loves it! She gets to stay home with her kids which is pretty cool! Its not a job working for someone else but instead she sets her own schedule and she determines how much she makes. The more she puts into it, the more she gets out. I wish jobs were like that because I know I work way harder than some of the nurses here who are getting paid the same as I am! LOL P.S. I found a list of top 10 work at home scams to help you avoid them:10. Craft Assembly 9. Medical Billing 8. Email/Rebate Processing 7. A List of Companies Looking for Home workers! 6. Just pay for and take this class first Then well give or find you a job! 5. Envelope Stuffing 4. Turn Your Computer Into a Money-Making Machine! 3. Pyramid Schemes (this is NOT the same as Multi-Level Marketing MLM)2. Chain Letters/Emails ( Make Money Fast ) 1. Typing At Home / Data Entry (HUGE SCAM)I hope this helps you! Good Luck in your search!-Michelle

tinyurl.com/makethatcashThere are no start up fees or monthly membership fees, its easy work, a bit boring, and you don t have to use a credit/debit card or bank account information to receive payment.I have no account or cards and still get a check in the mail.I m a single mom myself of 2 and I know every little bit counts. Check it out give it month, flexible hours and the amount you earn is up to you.

Things I look for in a business are free or low cost to join, free or low cost to run, some level of training and/or support, a website or information on how to create one, and a simple duplicatable business success system. The company and people should support and train you because when you make money they make money. I really like businesses that can be run part time, from home, and online.

You can try something like www.alpineaccess.com There is no startup fee, but if you get hired you will have to pay for a background check and may have to get another phone line and some phone equipment. There are also places like www.kgb.com and www.chacha.com but they don t pay very well at all.Best bet is to work at home is to find a legit home based business with low startup cost.

Does anyone have any tips for me in my lawncare business? And also any tips on getting new clients? -

Yeah, so any tips just get on new clients. I guess that s simply the way it is

Do you have a web site? Are you on Craigs list. Leave flyer with an actual estimate. Do you do cutting or chemicals? You didn t say. If you do cutting look for good lawns with overly high grass. If you do chemicals look for bad lawns with a lot of good lawns around for leaving flyers.

pass out flyers for get your lawn cut once get the next one free or half off or refer 5 people get a free lawn cut

How to get a web page for my small business? -

I want to publish my small business in the web. It should be able to get orders of my products and get online payments (credit cards, paypal, etc). I know there are companies that do this but I guess they are expensive. Can I do it myself? If not, do you know a low cost web design company?

Congrats and good luck first of all mateYou can definitely do it yourself and pretty cheaply. Credit card transations is a bit more on the complicated side, PayPal is much easier, at least in the beginning. 1) get a domain . I recommend godaddy.com2) get a hosting account. I can recommend webhostingbuzz: http://tinyurl.com/yb4xz4eI ve used a handful of webhosting companies and to be honest their support was the first that seemed to really be on top of things. Whichever hosting company you choose, I say go to the live chat at odd hours and ask presales questions and see what you think of the company. That is why I would pick webhostingbuzz (even over hostgator)3) Get a paypal account. You will see a Merchant Services tab and you can generate your own link and button and PayPal will give you the HTML to use4) If you know HTML, you can design it on your own. Otherwise you can use wordpress to get yourself going quickly (and then use html and graphics skills to really spice up the site). Wordpress is limiting if you want a lot of interaction with the user but it s good for general layout ideas. There are actually some great HTML resources out there too. My personal favorite is Web Design Mastery because when I first bought it I was expecting to open up the book and learn HTML right away and instead the entire first book had NO HTML in it - all she talked about was what makes effective web design for marketing and usability - that was new to me and I really liked that approachhttp://designmyownwebsite.net/go/web-desgood luck!

You can do it yourself if you learn how to do it. There are several books on the subject of web page design. Consult your public library to see what they have. If you find a book that is really helpful, you might want to buy a copy of it. There are several people and companies out there that create/maintain web pages, if you want to spend the money to have it done professionally. Accepting credit cards and Pay-pal need to be set up with those institutions. They may even provide the software you need to process the orders. Talk to your bank or the Small Business Administration for pointers.

You can set up a website at moogo.com. They offer free website creating and then you can decide if you want to pay them to have additional services (such as an online store). It is completely free for you to set up a website with them. It is actually really simple too. I had never done it before, but was able to create a website on my own. Then, you can set up a merchant account with PayPal and that will allow you to accept money through your online store via PayPal. They do charge a monthly fee for that service though.

You can sign up with hostgator or any other hosting place, they offer ecommerce templates for free, then all you have to do is add your own products, prices and settings. Very easy to do and cheap. Check out http://www.hosting4beginners.com good place to start.

http://www.goebelmedia.comLow cost great service!

Check out the freebie DIY ecommerce website builder - www.viviti.com which comes with shopping cart and PayPal options. Of for a paid website: www.homestead.com.Good luck!

What should I do,in my mini-company I am doing all the work and they are doing nothing? -

I m in 4th year(age 16) and everyone has to have a mini company. Myn is producing customised t-shirts with images printed on them.there is 5 people in my group.Sarah,Lauren,Fiona and amy.I myself spent 7 hours after school doing mini-company work alone. I couldn t do any of my homework or anything. Amy and I together and done hours after school while the others have to leave early to hang out with friends. Fiona has done NOTHING what so ever. NOT ONE THING. Market day is next friday and I am in a panicky. We have to produce t-shirts and everything and so much has to be done. I gave sarah one job to do today and she got it WRONG and I told her 5 times what to do FiVE TIMES and she got it WRONG . I mean what the hell? I give up I really do.Fiona is new to my school but she has friends here already and im not really friends with her so i am not really comfortable confronting her.

There is a reason why schools run this sort of activity. There is some learning at the back of it. If your colleagues aren t contributing, who is doing the learning? You are, in fact, quite lucky in that you are learning lessons about people at a very young age, lessons that can be very helpful when you move into earning a living. Yes, it is frustrating when people don t back you but it is in how you deal with it that the learning is done. The stick approach is making the threats that you will report their attitude to your teacher. Not knowing the individuals involved I am not in a position to say if this is the correct thing to do. The carrot approach will be in finding some incentive that will make them want to participate. Again, I don t feel able to advise you. I would suggest making a list of pros and cons for each action to help you decide what to do. Whatever you decide to do, keep a record showing how you came to that decision and also keep records of every event in your company, particularly financial records.Good Luck, I hope everything works out for you.

If this is for grades, I d tell your teacher. EDIT: Even if this is for PROFIT, I d STILL tell your teacher that your classmates are NOT pulling their weight and request that you be allowed to run it by yourself. ---Kasey C, PC guru since Apple II daysKEEP OUT! Trespassers will be violated!

First: I would keep the work I ve done to myself. Second: I would go to the teacher an tell her your concern and see what she/he would suggest so that your work is not affected by the others negligence. Third: Based on what your teacher suggested I would act upon it.

If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself. This is sadly true. I am in college and no one really cares if it is done right but you. Keep up the hard work and definitely confront the teacher about it.
