Is it safe for me to leave negative feedback for a seller on Ebay? -

I bought a guitar from ebay US which was advertised as brand new. It arrived and it said used on the box. The guitar was obviously in used condition as well. I figured it must have just been a mistake, but the seller has ignored every message I ve sent. The seller has already left me positive feedback. If I leave him negative feedback, is he able to somehow leave me negative feedback in retaliation even though he has already given me positive feedback?

With current eBay Rules (I am a seller so I should know), the seller CANNOT give any negative feedback. I/They can choose to not give any feedback, or just give positive feedback. There is no way for him or her to change or retract their feedback, they can however post a response to negative feedback explaining themselves (its usually present under your negative feedback, and does not in anyway harm your feedback score). However, in your situation. I would recommend emailing eBay, and notifying them of your problem. Sellers are responsible for accurately listing the items they sell, and through eBay (which also runs and owns PayPal) you can file a complaint/claim, and you can (and should) get your money back, as well as leave negative feedback).

Start a dispute for SNAD (Significantly Not As Described). They will have you return the item and the seller will be forced to give you your money back. I would give him the benefit of the doubt to start off with. Maybe he didn t answer your emails because of an emergency. How long has it been? Check their feedback and see if he s left any for other customers over the last few days. That will tell you if he s been on his account and is ignoring your emails. Let the dispute run and then decide what feedback you feel is appropriate. I think I would agree with the negative, but take care of it first.

Ask ebay for his telephone number (cant remember where the link is )No he cant change his feedback but could put a follow up comment.If it is derogatory you can ask ebay to remove it-they will.If you dont want the guitar do a dispute SNAD (significantly not as described) that should wake him up-you will get a refund Send back trackable

I am planning on opening up a cafe in the next few months and i wanted to find out if LLC (limited liability) or corporation is best fit for cafe type of business?

Here in MA, there is a minimum income tax of $456 and an annual report of $125 for a sub-S corporation. The LLC pays a renewal fee of $500.One of the biggest differences is an LLC is not recognized as an entity by the IRS, so you elect how you are going to file the taxes. If it s a single member LLC, you can report the income on your personal return as a schedule C. If there are multiple members, you can file as a partnership or as a corporation. But once you elect the reporting method, you have to stick with it. In other words you can t file as a partnership one year and a corporation the next.Another difference is the way ownership percentages are allocated. In an LLC, you have more flexibility than a corporation. Say you have a partner but he s silent (doesn t work the business), you can allocate the income on the tax return.You should contact a good CPA and talk it over as to what would benefit you the most for taxes.
